Those are blind items about kpop. I just felt if there is any truth to those blinds, maybe they should be posted in the relevent threads. And I posted only 2 links in topics in news and gossip section. Blinds are news and gossip. That's all. Then, I made a separate topic in 18+ section for blinds. In today's world, garbage sells. Good things don't do well, don't get attention and appreciation. The more garbage-y, trashy, crappy, shitty something is, the more love and fan following it will have, the more it will sell,the more power and momentum it will get. It is Like a cultural phenomenon of the time we are living in and if you disagree u are living under a rock and living a lie. And this is true for anything and almost everything: arts, politics, science, work, you name it. The shittier the quality, the shittier the person, the more loving, loyal fans it will have. Part of the reason is the dumb herd mentality. Gotta follow the newest, coolest thing, gotta follow the trend and all that. What has the world and humanity come to? I wonder if it was always like that... Examples: fifty shades of shit, shit quality music, celebs who r horrible people and brag about it, shitty fashion, shitty books, trump, Hillary (that is like asking to choose between two diffent kinds of shits), scientific research that keeps creating paranoia in people's minds about everything, (I am surprised people can find ANYTHING to eat), shitty movies, shitty cartoons, the grossest yt videos have the most views and subscriptions, Internet and real life....add your own examples. I think every era has good stuff and shitty stuff and good people and shitty people, but in the current era, we are soooo overwhelmed by shitty stuff and people everywhere. Shitty crap outweighs good stuff by so much. And these things and people are so loudly and blatantly thrust into our faces wherever we go, it is hard to avoid them. Everything is a money making scheme. Get more attention, what people call clout. Why are people so hungry for crap? Or is it they want sth, anything, and people only create and sell crap and public gotta take it coz beggers can't be choosers? Why is public so readily and willingly gobbling crap? Are they idiots? Or it is coz majority of people are gross shits themselves so.... I just don't get how crap sells so much. And I probably never will get it. I think I don't wanna get it. And I don't want to be part of this "let us produce and consume, sell and buy garbage crap" culture. And why is noise and spam marketing a thing? Give me a fucking break.

News to romance writers, ironically, vast majority of whom are women: Women, girls, females do not enjoy being raped. Women don't want to be sexually assaulted, groped, molested, stalked, flashed etc. It does not make it okay if the guy considers himself good looking or desirable in some way. This is not what women want. And no means no. This is not okay, this is not desirable and this is not romantic. Something that is grounds for a restriction order or arrest warrant is not okay. Women don't like being physically hit, verbally abused, emotionally abused, talked to like dirt, or treated like crap by guys or other women or anyone. Women don't enjoy being called, considered or treated by anyone as a slut, bitch, whore, pig, etc. This is not okay. Guys who think they are hot and think they are doing a girl a favour when they stalk or force themselves on her, whether in fiction or IRL can, fuck off and die, hundred times over. Stop making it seem like this is what women want and secretly desire or fantasize about. Because we don't. We hate these things in real life, we hate them in fiction books. We are terrified of these things and such people. They disgust us. One would think this does not need to be spelled out but apparently it does. Fuck my life. Stop fucking filling romance novels with such crap. We read romance for reading a good love story, hopefully with a happy ending; for romance, maybe comedy and entertainment. Not to fulfil some non existent rape, abuse fantasy. Fuck you very much. Sex that is abusive and borderline rape is not okay. And it is not romantic. Even if, Some women may, sometimes, like to read about or have rough, hard sex IRL, mutual consent and respect, and not crossing the line are the biggest, most important factors. most romance writers today are not personally invested in their books other than what it’s going to pay out. And it shows. I read romance novels. Enjoy them from time to time. And even I feel they need improvement. Sometimes, It's like the writer's heart is not in it, they are not putting any thought or effort. Sometimes their writing shows they are dragging, writing nonsense and just filling pages and finishing a deadline. But, well this part cud be true for some stuff in any genre of books or entertainment. This is esp true of a sequal in a series. Riding coattails and all that, just lip service for brownie points, etc. This is disrespectful to their readers, their characters, their books, their publishers and sales people and to themselves. Ot: fifty shades of shit and twilight are not to my liking. didn't read them, didn't watch the movies. Cudnt sit through the first twilight movie. Even the actors who were leads in these movies hated these movies.
