I was almost sure she wouldn't come back because even if AKB is still popular they're not in their golden days anymore. Her popularity in Korea is no joke, and if she gets in a kpop group it's gonna be a huge success for sure.

actually she's also very popular in Japan as an individual act! so if she pursued a flexible solo career & work n both Japan/Korea she will probably be more successful than being in a kpop group unless it's one very big group similar to izone in this case if she joined HYBE

So they’re gonna return to their groups?

no they did returned to their groups but the thing is you never know with 48g groups cause the members could announce graduation at any moment it's not like they will be under some sort of exclusive contract

all the three will have their mobame mail activated very soon for fans to subscribe (its similar to izone members private mail thing) that pretty much confirms their return although Sakura's graduation is very soon.

Ofc she gonna leave abk, why would she stay in a 40 member group when she is so popular all alone too? Wouldnt make sense,,,

it's not much about a 40 member group, even back before PD48 Sakuro could do stuff away from her main group cause the system is not as same as Kpop.

but it's been 2.5 years and there's covid19 so HKT & 48g in general are not like they used to be 2.5 years ago unfortunately, many big names have left in fact if Sakura goes back to HKT now she will be the biggest powerhouse handshake tickets seller alongside Yukirin only two out of hundreds of 48g members, and guess what? covid19 fucked them up, in the most recent years AKB48 relied very heavily on popular sister group members but because of Covid19 AKB was unable to add sister group members to their senbatsu for their single so at some point they stopped releasing a single the last single they released was back in March 2020!!! the management is being too stubborn they don't wanna release without sister group members probably out of fear that the single won't achieve 1 million first-week sales

add on top of that if Sakura goes back just to realize she could only work with her main group HKT but can't work with AKB anymore that will be bad I guess? cause Sakura's most popular achievements were in AKB rather than her main group HKT.

keep in mind 48g biggest selling mechanism is handshake tickets, the original idea of 48g is idols you can meet and that's reflected in their handshake sales cause fans like to meet their fave but when you have covid19 going on fans can no longer do that and guess what happened? people started to buy less albums/tickets cause why buy if you can't meet your fave? <

Delusional otaku believing she was deceived to join Produce 48 and she was abused and made pennies as IZ*One's member, the news of her signing Big Hit was just a PR stunt to increase the share value of the company, all her words that she was happy was forced by the Korean oppressing agency.

Why I do I feel like I've read that somewhere? Lol

anyway fun fact Big Hit stocks did went up after that rumor came out what's left is making that a reality 👀

This makes her signing with BigHit/HYBE much more likely

Hopefully she’ll be debuting in the new GG

the fact that the new name of the agency is HYBE is kinda hilarious

    HYBE = hype 🤣

non the less all that "HYPE" will be dead if Its turned out that she's not joining HYBE but what are other options Sony? 👀

anyway I found another tweet from awhile about Sakura responding to a fan on her radio saying that she plans to stay as an idol for another 5 years or so! personally I didn't think Sakura will continue being an idol after leaving HKT I thought she will become more like a flexible entertainer or TV personality and also a singer who does like everything but after hearing that I won't be surprised if she actually re-debuts for the 3rd time as an idol group member.

Not surprised and that's actually expected considering the strong rumor of her joining HYBE. She's got a big starpower that joining HYBE would be better for her future than being stuck in aki-p's idol empire that's no longer as big as it used to be. Most of the idols who graduated from aki-p's groups failed to have a fluorishing or better career after but I believe Sakura's career will be better after graduating. She's smart joining the pd48 as a stepping stone to carve out a career post hkt48+akb48 in two countries and now the rumor of her getting approached and recruited by HYBE.

for me it's not much about HYBE rumors or whatever her returning to Japan first and then making an announcement is something I was already expecting cause just like Juri/Miyu she have to graduate and then move on but we haven't got that official announcement yet and many fans are getting tired of it lol like come on Sakura just drop the bomb already 😂

i guess the thing people keep bringing up is hitomi getting a korean driver's license...whether that means she has plans to stay there, idk.

    Prolly not

Ab Hitomi I forgot if she said this or is speculation but I saw a tweet that says she was in process of getting license before it was decided their companies wouldn't renew and she/they? assumed the contract would be extended

I could see any the 3 come back for promotion or jobs short term but it wouldn't be perm or long term I'd assume like debuting in a k-group.

she can drive in Japan with a Korean license.

  7. of course the only issue which could prevent that is Covid19

probably variety show appearance and what's not

keep in mind there's still the possibility of some of them choosing to pursue a career in Korea like "Juri" did, after PD48 Juri went back to AKB and stayed there for like a year before announcing her graduation from AKB to pursue a career in Korea of which she became a member of "Rocket Punch"

that shitty company and group wants Nako, Sakura and Hitmomi back...........

only hitomi cause if SakuNaku went back HKT is under a new company named "Mercury" also SakuNako are not AKB48 members but members of a sister group called HKT48 which debuted in 2011 when they moved to the new company we felt like it's a victory nobody likes "AKS"

AKS probably faced it's worse scandal in 2019 of which they made big changes to some of their management team but I doubt much improvement were made tbh good thing you don't have to worry about SakuNako since they won't be back to work for that garbage company but Hitomi..

back to the topic I am not sure how old that show is but Ohari's single "Amai Kokansetsu" was released in 2008 those type of shows no longer exists thanks to some part of the Japanese public who fight against that kinda shit.

    Good post.

There are martial arts techniques to help disarm a dangerous individual and neutralize without killing them, but police officers are not trained in martial arts, so I think this would be a good start for a police reform:

Adopting martial arts actually has been tried in some counties and has been extremely effective and lowering the number of deaths.

That'd be a good idea. Cops need better training that doesn't involve using firearms. Martial arts training could be quite beneficial to help deescalate these kind of things.

they really need martial Arts training, US police either shoot or use American football moves or body slams and sometimes they cause unnecessary injuries while restraining the target.

Tulsa Police shooting is an example they spent like 10 minutes trying to talk the guy out of the car only after that they used their physical strength to pull the guy out and they were very very bad it's two police officers vs one guy and he somehow managed to pull a gun out but even then the two officers still had a chance to stop him from pulling any weapon that he's hiding and they still had a chance after he pulled the gun but somehow his right arm got free and he shoot both officers dead.

I remember back then some people only uploaded the last few minutes of the video to showcase police brutality and claim the guy only shoot the officers out of self defense but that got debunked as the full footage got released later showing that the police spent like 10 minutes just talking to the dude

    Spoiler

    watch on your own responsiblity

This is insane, how was this allowed? Everything they made her do was to embarrass her. Dragging her around to promote outside motels, sleeping on the streets, filming the MV in an adult bar...everything was just a mess from start to finish. And she probably couldn't get out of her contract.

you wonder how was that allowed there were way worse shit in Japanese shows back in the day they had some of the weirdest and shittiest shows they make America's fear factory look like child play, but those shows kinda died as time passed by..

regarding the contract tho 48g members can graduate from the group pretty much any time except for popular members cause the company tries do delay their graduation and milk them as much as possible before the graduation.

Well apparently to them, this is considered a joke instead of humiliation. It's really funny to them and they're doing it for ratings on tv. Japanese tv shows are just so fucked up sometimes.

But yes personally, I do agree with you this is so humiliating. I feel so sorry for her. I'm just glad she's doing well now.

good thing a lot of those shitty shows kinda died I remember watching a show long time ago of which they brought school bullies & their victims and discussed things like suicide of which the bullies openly said they have no responsibility for victims who commit suicide due to bullying they even victim-blamed them and said those who commit suicide are mentally I'll and bullying have nothing to do with that they were literally bullying their victims right there on TV while the hosts/adults were trying to make things as light hearted as possible or even laughing at victims who were unable to talk properly

i know many people who think that they are invincible and think that bad stuffs only happen on others lol

I don't know if it's a mental thing or people just being positive! cause it's not just about disaster or illness nobody will sit there and think "maybe I will get kidnapped one day" some people might do that I don't know.

a lot of times people watch the misery of others through documentaries or news and that gives them some sense of security or feeling of stability "sad to be you" aside from that people who don't have some sort of debilitating disease or some other life changing problems are too busy to think about it they have other stuff to worry about or focus on like their relationships or work, school they have no time to imagine & put themselves in the shoes of a miserable person they just see it on the screen and say oh no that sucks and move on ..
