  1. Oh yes of course, can't forget my boo Jinny

And then Katie and Hanna do the duo Davichi/15& thing, and all is well and everyone debuts

A 9 member girl group from each of the big 3 omg

Wow I would love a Katie/Hanna Duo. If they do that, they could also be the YG version of 15&.

I hope these 9 do debut. It wouldn't be fair to the girls who trained for so many years to get let go after using their most precious years training every single day.

Jennie could be a lead vocalist if Jinny and Moon Sua are the rappers. I heard I'm Sua is main vocal material, that would be great.

    They would have Twice counterparts.

    Jennie - Nayeon = lead vocal/face/visual

    Jisoo - Tzuyu = #1 visual

Lisa - Momo = main dancer

Chaeyoung - Mina = lead vocal

    Jinny - Dahyun = lead rapper/stan attractor

    Moon Sua - Chaeyoung = main rapper/composer

Im Sua - Jihyo = main vocal

    Seoyeon - Sana = face/visual

    Seoyoung - Jungyeon = ?

    It girl line

    YGNGG: Jisoo, Jennie, Seoyeon

    Twice: Tzuyu, Nayeon, Sana

  2. Realistically, I feel like these girls would debut at 2020 or something? (I meant f21)

Is there any special title to yg? or related to pp, their concept, or whatever? I feel like it's possible that YG has the girls set, it's just that they're waiting for a good date to debut.

Considering all 4 have trained for so long (6 years) and with Moon Sua's hype from UPR, I think they'll debut somewhere in 2017-2018.

Plus with 2ne1 as 3 now and God knowing how there futures will be like, YG may want another girl group that fits a demographic like theirs (since PP may go for a more "traditional" girl group demographic)

Their concept is suppose to be girly and edgy based off the pics they released. Not sure if they'll stick to that concept tho, although they may do so.

Still hope the group is 7. It could happen if they base the group lineups on their brother groups.

    Ikon - Pink Punk = 7 members

    Winner - Future 2ne1 = 5 members

Plus PP was always suppose to be 7, right?

  3. You remember of the days when we think that Jisung was Jisoo? https://www.instagram.com/jisung1030/ She will debut soon as an actress

Seoyeon apparently is still in YG, someone posted the pictures of her middle school graduation

Only Jennie survived of all trainees of 2010 :rlytearpls:

Funny thing: I know some of the ex-trainees are brides or married now hahaha

That's the girl who sung at the end of the F2ne1 video right? Good to know she's still in F2ne1 and in the company. She'd make a great visual and lead vocal for F2ne1.

Hopefully YG debuts them at least a year after PP debut, they are just as ready to debut as these girls are.

  4. So if Katie is in, that'll mean

Vocal Line: Katie, Hanna, Chaeyoung, Jennie

    Dance Line: Lalisa, Jennie

    Rap Line: Jennie, Jinny

    Visual Line: Jisoo, Jennie, Jinny

Personally I think the group could use another rapper, someone who is main rapper material.

I prefer Jennie's singing, and if Jennie is more of a vocalist then rapper then the group could use 1 more rapper. Otherwise it'll be a "WJSN" situation.

  5. YG should let Jisoo audition

Guys I feel like MNET won't give IOI the award, a special stage bigger than all the groups possible, but if MNEt goes that far MAMA wouldn't be taken seriously.

Debuting YG girls now is smart because the girls can get more downloads, album sales and more public recognition. They should something now because a lot of the P101 eliminated girls plan to debut, even competing with IOI. I dunno if it's possible for a nugu group to be known at debut but the chances of that to happen in these girls from P101 is more possible (there are a lot of confirmed debuts, Kconic, par haeyoung's group, even SS group can debut if they want).

Their biggest competitors, are not only IOI, but Pledis Ladyteen. They may have lost 2 members because Pinky and Nayoung is with IOI, but that doesn't mean Ladyteen can't debut. After all, the IOI girls can do stuff from their company and the IOI as long as it does not conflict schedule (THIS IS NOT SURE YET) but if it IS POSSIBLE TO DO THIS, you have Jellyfish girls, who were also set to debut at 2016 (if jellyfish does it right they can pull it off with their girls promoting IOI and their own group when IOI isn't active) (http://onehallyu.com/topic/316793-nbjellyfish-looking-to-debut-their-new-girl-group-within-the-year-overlapping-with-ioi/). What if DSP debuts Youngji and the other DSP trainees? The girls have been active so that's kinda a sign (or maybe they'll just be new members of rainbo, who knows?) and as much as I like katie kim, I feel like YG should prioritize his new gg first, after all, it would be a shame if they can't match up to their sneiors who had a wide range of success, in numbers, and rookie awards.

Yeah as of now if they debut, their only rookie competition is IOI and WJSN.

IOI has a pretty huge fanbase. WJSN's debut didn't do very well but they are still looked at as having a lot of potential so they may come back a lot better.

And even girls from P101 who didn't debut in IOI have strong fanbases and recognition that can help them later on. Star Empire, SS, Kconic, 2able, ect are expected to debut theirs girls this year. Even girls who made it into IOI can debut with their companies group while they take a break and then go back to IOI. And most likely the Jellyfish and Pledis girls will debut.

So YG should hurry up and at least reveal a lineup and do a Lolipop type MV with Ikon. Because the idol industry is over saturated even among the newer generation, and even with their boast she to being from big companies, the big 3 aren't that garunteed to anything.

YG needs to get them on more music and variety shows and stop with the "their artist not idols" mumbo jumbo. Because continuing down that path will only get their artist so far.

  6. I.O.I definitely in for MNET MAMA.

By the way, I don't think YG will ever push back our girls debut just because some GG get a good hype. I think he still aim for rookie award this year by debuting the girls.

A recipe for success is that you have to be either the First or the Best or the Different one. Right now, it's so hard to find any new concept in KPOP. For me, I believe YG(as in company and production team) are trying to find a debut concept that suit the girls and make them shine like what they did with Winner(Sorry If i name other group here, but it come with good intention). To this day, I think Winner has the best debut concept and style. It was great because it's not just fresh air of boy group at that time, but it also fit the member.

As for whether they will have any hype at all? Will it be enough to snatch all Rookie award? I will say it depend on song and concept. Song don't need to be unique or out of this world sound. If the songs are public friendly, catchy and not too experimental, they will have a chance.

The girls are from YG. I repeat "YG". The greatest advantage they have are public trust. The difference between new group from YG and nugu company is people might pass by nugu company group song, don't bother to check at all, but for YG they will at least give it a try. If the song isn't their style then it end there. But if they like it? They have BIG chance to go far.

The concept is something to create hype. This is where we should make something iconic or unique to create some topic. For example, Sandara's palm tree hair style. Everyone talk about it. Variety show talk about it. Definitely create good exposure. Variety show like 2NE1TV also create good exposure.

I.O.I has great exposure, public know them, their song in the show are on melon top50 chart. But their actual song was no where to be seen. If they are gonna be nominate, their point will be calculate by that I.O.I song not the whole show song. If I.O.I don't release any new song then we might have a chance.

IOI didn't debut yet tho, and that song that they did come out with did enter top 50.

Yeah YG girls being from YG is a good advantage, but nowadays even the big 3 aren't that garunteed to anything. Small(er) companies groups like BTS, Mamamoo, and GFriend are doing extremely well. GFriend even beat Winner many times on music shows (along with 4minute, Taeyeon, Zico, ect) and won some awards against Twice.

YG is going to have to promote them really well and promote them like an ACTUAL KPOP GROUP as opposed to doing his "unique" version of promotions.
