What really rubs me the wrong way about the response to Amber's new mv is that now people are like "the way you dress doesn't mean anything" and yes that's a valid point but there's a reason a vast amount of lesbians dress a certain way and it's bc they don't want to express themselves in a way that is aligned with heterosexual culture (don't reply "what about femme lesbians?" Bc I am literally a femme lesbian). This is also a signal to other lesbian or bi women that you are also into girls! However how she dresses is not the only thing that makes me think she's into girls, just compare her playing the pepero game with a woman compared to with N from Vixx. Also Amber always speaks with gender neutral pronouns when referring to exes and also the song was gender neutral. As well on korean variety shows everyone was trying to push this agenda with amber that had this homophobic tone of "look she is a real woman despite how she looks bc shes talking favourably about this man" trying to get her to fit in to their cishet society. We finally can't overlook that she has a career in China so coming out would be detrimental to that.
