Sakura's PR vid is covering her ass in case her J-wotas drop her for joining the show/dividing up her time to this instead of doing group activities. Smart move TBH

Like... is that video what we're going to get though? She has to carry at least one line solo per song.
Because I've been assuming most AKB members will be kinda like Moe where there are stability, range, and strength issues but the ear and openness/presence are good... in fact I was assuming the older and more popular members would be somewhat stronger. No, huh? My Japanese lineup's going to be really lightly penciled going into the show then.
The only older and popular members that are stronger vocalists are those who didn't join the show lool.
Some graduated members were good at singing too. Probably the best singer was Masuda Yuka

　I don't think any Jurina fan will deny she's a pretty bad singer. I'll be happy if she can improve by the end of this series.I think she'll definitely improve her singing after the show. If you think about it, the 48G girls participating haven't had formal vocal/dancing lessons ever since they debuted into their groups lol... Too little time to prioritize it

Nako good visual, cute, but only vaguely more interesting than Sakura. Welp, time to wait for the show.
Miku is fine dancing. Her presence doesn't cut through as well though. I don't know if she's equipped for the main group at this age although I would really like her to be given her duo thing with Nako....
Natsumi and Aoi were both good dancing... cute... will keep an open mind. Kinda in the Murase Sae tier... would be happy to see an undergroup for them.
Choi Yena and all 3 HOW girls seem solid but I'm not excited about them yet. Would not mind any getting in, don't see any reason to jump all over any of them.
Can someone show me a live of Jurina singing with any degree of touch and/or ear please?
Nako Miku are usually paired together in their home group HKT. They're pretty much BFFs
Jurina's a bad singer kpop standards I wouldn't actively look for live performances of her lol..

Jurina was never good at singing or dancing to begin with when she debuted, so at this point she sounded okay.

SKE and HKT profiles are out. I think Sakura was trying to appeal to her J-wotas in her PR vid? It kinda got cut short though because I don't see any group member messages at the end

If Sakura gets enough Korean fans who wouldn't mind spending lots of money to shake their hands it might make a difference in the election. But she would have to blow up massively and the campaign has to reach Korea. Idk how many fans would be willing to spend thousands of dollars to shake her hands/get her a win.
But the shows air date (06/15) and election day (06/16) won't be good timing? Her popularity will only sky rocket once the show airs for a while and one day apart from airing isn't enough for her to get a lot of votes.
