Imo PD101 is a show that's kinda like watching your faves grow. Most of the people on the show aren't already in an idol group and not all of them have just started training, but they still improve throughout the show with the help of singing and dancing coaches. I think it'll be enough to get at least some fans for the group despite Kpop being a majorily manufactured pre-made idols. Heck even the most talentless member in IOI got to be in the group because she got fans that believed in her growth as an idol.
