Yes because Geunseuk is actually an actor and Korean acting places so much emphasis on voice modulation that most of actors would do a decent job MC-ing (though if they're entertaining MCs is a whole different topic). BoA was a gasoo and trained as such, and this would be her first foray in MC-ing. She's only done judging but not really MC=ing. The rank announcements will be crucial and Jang Geun Seuk did a splendid job in handling those episodes. I hope BoA prepares herself well.

Usually Ep 0 shows stuff more on the producers side - the brainstorming and conceptualizing this season, coming up with the Naya Naya song (so probably an interview with Ryan Jhun on how he made the song), casting BoA and the other judges, as well as the search for the 101 boys. I'm guessing they wanna edit the pre-airing episode accordingly on what the audience wants to see. I'm guessing they're using the MaBoy votes, the random challenge videos and SNS reactions to guesstimate on who could be rating drawers. Most likely those trainees with 'potential' to be rating-drawers would have more chances to be featured in the Episode 0 thing. Also I would like it if they would feature the auditions of the the P101 boys. Not the evaluation audition to rank them shown in the first ep, but the audition for the show itself like the one Chungha does here. Kinda show how these boys ended up doing Produce 101.

My current list of who to vote the top ones are the ones I intend to campaign and vote for once the voting rule changes get applied: 1. Tiptoe Oppa Park Sung Woo (he was my first P101 bias, doubt this will change. Sejeong was my fave last year from the moment her intro vid came out and that didn't change.) 2. Jung Jung -wall as of now but might change- 3. Yoo Sun Ho 4. Joo Hak Nyeon (?) I still have 7 slots left. Hopefully I have a full list to support by the 7th.

Justin was really funny in his though. The key strategy to Produce 101 is to stand out and get your name out there. Even if people criticize you, they already recognize you and your name which already makes you better off than 80% of the contestants.

I'm slowly realizing that it isn't talent that makes me root for trainees but those who seem really determined and work hard, and eventually succeed. Most of the 'perfect' trainees don't appeal to me at all. Like I feel they need to show another dimension to make me even notice them. I really liked Sejeong last season because despite being in A, you saw she really struggled with choreography and she had this really easygoing ajusshi personality which none of the other girls really had. But when the show started, I saw she actually had to work doubly hard as others because she doesn't tend to pick up dance as fast. I used to sleep on Jung Jung because I thought he was that sort of trainee? Perfect visuals, high-level skill. But I'm really liking his personality. You can see he isn't that accustomed to Korean culture at all (he was 20 when he moved to Korea which is unlike many Chinese/foreign K-Pop trainees who move in their early teens so they get to adapt faster) but he really tries to make it work somehow and it shows. It's this kind of determination that really gets to me. There are clips where he even looks like a fish out of water impression and it makes me realize how tough it is not to only be in a competition, but be in one outside the culture you're familiar with. Unlike fellow Zhejiang native Pinky/Kyulkyung last season, Jung Jung hasn't adapted to Korea at all but still chose to go on this show. He struggles with Korean slang, struggles to read Hangul, struggles to even pronounce the words right. But his tenacity is pretty inspiring.
