    I know, I didn't like Fire when it first came out, so I took a week off to do something else. A week later, I watched the Fire Live performance. It slay me so bad that I prefer it over Save Me. I actually like IDOL, and it gives me similar feeling to Fire that I think people will change their minds when they see the actual performance. Edit: BTW, Jin "I'm in love with myself" is iconic. Is there a gif?

    I don't like IDOL MV (Sorry Lumpen, but Fake Love is better,) but there is something I have just realized. IDOL is basically BTS acting like themselves, being playful and happy. It really gave me a new perspective on the song. This is an updated version of Attack on Bangtan. This is basically old BTS with an updated S. African and traditional Korean beat.

    A lot of tracker uses Google API. If they are deleting, it means we are gaining more views than we are losing, so it's all good.

    It will work, but not all the views will count. It is also not certain if it will count after 1000 views, but it is better than nothing. It was experimented awhile back. Also, add nicki version from k-music in the playlist. That may also count for BB100. Never a good idea to repeat songs within 10 minutes.

    I really do hope there are lyric videos for their new title song. Do people not realized that lyric videos and any sort of videos that uses copyrighted audios can be counted on Billboard via Content ID? The only bad thing about watching unofficial videos is the Youtube view record, but is that more important than Billboard 100? With the recent experiment, we know it is best to watch the title MV every 10 minutes. It is better to fill out the gap with other videos that can contribute to Billboard, like watching title song lyric videos. Source: Billboard.

    Whether lyric videos are good or bad, it is still up for debate. I like lyric videos, because they make excellent filler when trying to repeat streaming MVs for viewcount. I knew YT doesn't count every single views if it is constantly repeated. This is semi-confirmed by the recent study that suggest watching the MVs every 10 minutes is the most efficient. There are also reasons to suggest that Youtube count audio used in non-official videos in their report to Nielsen. (It's called Content ID. This is one of the reasons why viral dance challenge with high user uploads can make it on Billboard, yet the official videos have little view count.) I was planning to switch between the lyric video and MV when it comes out, but now that isn't an option anymore. I feel like it's more Youtube trying to stop my plan.

    Big spoiler for the new album, if it's true Interesting. They found RM's Love track as well. A note, J-Hope and RM's songs have" BTS and 1 other" listed as performer. Who is other? Edit: Nevermind, other is just Bang Than So Nyeon Dan. There are other songs listed too, weird that this is released on KOMCA so early.

    Just a bit of clarification. Billboard DO NOT double album sales. If BTS sell 100k, then it is counted as 100k. RIAA is the organization that will double the sales of shipped albums for certification. Source: Billboard As for whether it is a double album, I'm not sure, but it seems dependent on both the medium (in this case cds) and the record label. Since Answer will likely have more than 2 cds, it will be a double album. If Bighit want to classify it as a regular lp album, they have that authority. I do wonder, if it is a triple album, will RIAA triple the sales count?

    Big Hit should register as a media company. Columbia may or may not submit Tear as an entry, depending on what sort of deal they have with Big Hit. If Big Hit doesn't register and submit Tear in as an entry by July 16th, Tear would be ineligible for the 61st Grammy. (This was likely the case with Her, but Her came out after the registration deadline and no one thought Grammy was an option.) As for best new artist, I like to use Anderson Paak as an example because his situation is closest to BTS. Paak debut ep was in 2010, and debut album in 2012. He was nominated for best new artist in 2017, after 4 eps and 5 albums. This is mainly because he received prominence in 2016. We should know in October if they submitted the entry. Big Hit is new to the western music scene, so if they aren't on the list, Big Hit needs to have a better US music rep. Edit: If they plan to release a compilation/repack in August or September, the deadline is August 22nd.

    Please spread the news to Big Hit. Grammy registration for media company is open. Big Hit should register before July 16th if they want to nominate Tear. Only registered media company can participate in the entry/nomination process. They may already registered, but who knows.     Official Nielsen radio chart is out. BTS debuted at #38 with 912 plays and 2.397 million audience impression on the 3rd week. As a comparison, Mic Drop debuted #37 with 3.676 million audience impression on the 3rd week. It peaked on the 8th week with 6.459 million AI. MD benefited as being the first song to be pushed for radio play in the US and ARMY hyped it tremendously. I believe Fake Love have more radio potential, but only if ARMY push it as much as MD.
