  1. Tracking for this week ends Thursday at midnight, est. Billboard will usually release information early on Sunday via Facebook if they are in top 10, article, or through Gary's twitter @gthot20. Otherwise, chart is released on Tuesday morning, April 23rd.
  2. They are still so nervous even when they have been in the industry for almost 6 years. For them to look and sound so confident even when they feel like this just blows my mind. Click here to view the Tweet This comeback have been amazing to far, but it's also very frightening. It's impossible to predict how far and high BTS can go.
  3. It's typical after months of comeback. It's beginning to go back up again the past few days. They peak around 11m last chance cb, and this time, it should be higher.
  4. Mass DMCA notice. BTS themselves have two strikes, lol. (Justin Beiber song) https://twitter.com/lgbtaeguk/status/1115791657851424768 Army are probably the most affected bc of the sheet amount of tweets/retweets we do daily.
  5. A lot of songs, but for different reasons. Go to sad song: Move On, Born Singer Go to intro: Nevermind Go to performances: Entire HYYH live (Ma City/2nd grade are especially good) Go to dance practice: War of Hormone Go to fancams: Red bullets (in Chicago especially) Go to Spotify listening: Love Maze, Paradise, Fake Love, Spring Day, Pied Piper, Dimple, most solos Hypefest: cypher pt. 2, pt.3, Fire I feel like I can go on... But I'll stop before I start listing every single songs. I have noticed that I tend to watch their older performances more, but most of my playlists for listening have their newer songs.
  6. They never run out of bombs from my experience. The lines are also separate for the merc line, so it's less wait time.
  7. Well, I'm done, but there are too many missing numbers and too much guesswork. First, I try to reverse engineer the 2018 nominations. Data are from UKMIX.
  8. I found a source for us to use when people complain about the differences between Hanteo and Gaon charts. "According to the year-end sales figures of the Gaon chart and the Hanteo chart, there is a big difference in the sales volume of the top recording album. Considering that most of the large offline music stores and the music retail stores which have a large amount of inventory have disappeared, It is more rational to see that it comes from the quantity sold overseas through domestic wholesalers." -KOCCA
  9. Here's my list for the Best Selling S. Korean Albums. It's not complete, but feel free to take a look. If you would like to help me fill out the sources, please send me a message. Spreadsheet Edit: FYI, I did the list just to prove that BTS next album might be the top selling S. Korean album of all time and the first true 3m album seller.
  10. I found a legitimate source from Billboard on Aug 10th, 1996 that gives it an estimate of 2.6 million. Billboard I have an assumption based on news clipping from around 2007 that Guinness updated the number to 3.3 million. There are three possibilities. 1. They have made an error 2. The estimate is accumulated from 1995-2006 3. They accounted for pirated cds (Edit: I have noticed a lot of news site used unofficial number. Apparently, they do account for pirated cds and tapes. It is likely that GWR is based on these numbers. I am pretty sure Kim Gun Mo album shipped 2.86 million (The illegal selling of cds is known as Gil Board Chart- https://news.joins.com/article/20991066) Either way, this will make MOTS: Persona the fastest album to reach 2.5 million in S. Korea.
  11. I'm doing some research, and found some interesting facts. According to the Guinness of S. Korea, Kim Gun Mo sold 2,525,712 copies of Wrongful Encounters as of April 19,1995. The album was released in January 1, 1995. Since then, the unofficial number is 3.3 million (sportseseoul calls it unofficial, so I'm assuming there's no evidence to prove this.) I have seen many sites using 2.8 million as the album count number, including Melon and Bugs. source:http://sports.donga.com/3/02/20150510/71165885/3 https://music.bugs.co.kr/specialView/focus/BUTR2ONLT67QGGLC0CCR Edit: 3.3m is recorded by Guinness Record website and Guinness 2018. I tweeted to them why their version and the Korean version reported by media before 2007 is different.
  12. Interview with Dr. Murray Stein on BTS upcoming album based on his book. Click here to view the Tweet
  13. Ticketmaster blocked me! I'm a real person! I had to reload xxx times because it keeps crashing. If scalpers get ticks, I'll be upset.
  14. Hits Daily Double Album Chart BTS LOVE YOURSELF: ANSWER: 1/10/19: 2,671 1/17/19: 2,745 1/24/19: 2,097 1/31/19: 2,514 2/7/219: 2,295 2/15/19: 2,172 2/22/19: 2,509
  15. Pollstar finally confirmed the Paris and Amsterdam numbers. AccorHotels Arena: 28,149/28,149 $4.58 million Ziggo Dome: 13,893/13,893 $2.25 million "The Love Yourself arena tour of 2018 included two sold-out dates at AccorHotels Arena in Paris, Oct. 19-20, which sold 28,149 and grossed $4.58 million, and Oct. 13 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam which sold 13,893 and $2.25 million." 16. I have given up with the theories since 'Her,' and just enjoy the music. I couldn't care less about it, but that's because I have already been through the cycle since 2016. There seems to be a new wave of army after Gayos and they deserve to have something new and exciting for them to digest and examine. It is also a good way for them to go back to BTS early discography and connect it with the new materials.
  17. They provide monthly information through Gaon Observation, usually mid-month. So probably next week.
  18. It's subjective. Nielsen have been accused of weighing album sales to make up for the mom&pop stores that doesn't report to them. Buzzangle have a statement that they do not weigh any album sales, so they are real sales. Nielsen have more clients that report to them, such as Walmart. Buzzangle doesn't weigh streaming differently based on whether it's free or not. Nielsen does.
