Which male idols do you think are gay?
StarGear replied to cold soba's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
That isn't really comparable at all though. And as for the other thing he said during the Bromance broadcast... That has been taken out of context in so many ways that I don't feel like rehashing. But as I said before people definitely have the right to feel how they want about him. And in no way am I saying they are wrong for feeling that way. It is just a difference in opinion. Also just to be clear I am not an apologist. I'd call him the fuck out too if I felt he said something truly dangerous. I just don't think that is entirely the case here. On a lighter note... Have this. Click here to view the Tweet Don't know if posted already. -
It basically just goes to show how well fed the boys keep us. I feel bad for these other starving stans looking for crumbs.

I just thought it was funny Funny how people are saying Jackson should educate him mostly. Educate him on what exactly? He hasn't said boys liking boys is wrong. But some people are acting as if he did. I am not defending him nor saying people don't have a right to feel the way they do about him. I am just laughing at how some people are making him out to be the most homophobic idol in existence when at most all he said is "I am straight." over and over. It is a case of him being dumb at least and having fragile masculinity at worst. -

The funny thing about Bambam is that he is all over the place. On one hand you have his interests in fashion. (Which honestly doesn't say much because being into fashion doesn't have any effect on your sexuality.) Then you have his previous obsession with Taeyeon. On top of that he somewhat had Key as his mentor. He also does all of the girl group dancing. Which honestly, Yugyeom is better at that but gets embarrassed. Bambam just has no shame. He has never shown any real interest in men to my knowledge though. So who knows. -
They have a schedule in the description. A GOT7 video will be uploaded on the 29th for If You Do and Just Right.

I don't really have a favorite MV. So I'll just say I wish some of these trailer shots and locations for the Flight Log Era were more a part of the MV's. I know they tried with Never Ever and hopefully they try again. I just really loved those cinematic shots out in the open. So for them to have those but then shoot most of the video in closed, dark, and indoor places really disappointed me somewhat. But I still love the videos.

I just have a problem with most of the idols wearing braids or dreads only when promoting. It would be different if they wore them while not trying to sell an image/concept. That is my only problem. He can wear braids or dreads if he wants to. But our culture isn't a costume you can put on to sell a product with an "urban" feel. I know Jackson loves the culture. And he was doing great in doing so before hand.

For the comeback I just want Meet Me korean version. This song deserves more promo and an MV.

I am just tired. Tired of aspects of my culture being used as "cool" or "trendy" props. This goes far beyond Jackson or any other idol wearing dreads. In fact, I am not even mad at him or any of them. They are just following a very long list of those who do this. What does hurt is his response but I understand why he would give one like that. There are bad apples all around. But odds are the ones sending him death threats and hate are the same ones who have done so in the past and will continue to do so, regardless of the actual problem and situation. They are just using the situation as their excuse of a justifiable reason of doing so. That does not give the people defending him the right to tell others how to feel though. And I think that is what hurts most. People being dismissive of a struggle that a lot of my people go through every single day. Even if you are black and haven't. This is about more than one person. It is about a whole. Is it their fault for putting idols on a pedestal. Partially. But they are called idols for a reason. Yes they are human first and foremost. But this is also a job too. Which requires an appropriate amount of professionalism. And you know if Jackson did something to offend Korea he wouldn't have responded like that. Even if he meant no harm by it. There would have been a much more succinct and understanding apology. And that is another issue I have with the kpop industry as a whole. You can't want and strive for a foreign market but then be dismissive of foreign fans. (Especially in GOT7s case considering the fact they were made to be a global group. Even if global really only meant asian countries.) Most people know Jackson isn't racist. In fact this isn't even about race. It is about culture. The argument I have seen a lot is that other races and cultures have dreads as well and no one owns the hairstyle. But the thing is, these idols are clearly meant to be imitating the ones of hip hop and black culture. You can't tell me any of them were inspired by greece or the vikings. All in all... I am more upset with how this whole thing unfolded and how this probably won't be the last incident with him or any other idol regarding the matter than with anything else. I am disappointed with Jackson however. I understand. But that doesn't stop me from being disappointed. Nor does it stop me from loving him. Just be a little smarter next time bud. Ben Baller can rot in a ditch though. With all of his whack ass jewelry. I swear... Our boys are too friendly and sure do know how to surround themselves with some not so great people lol. The people that really showed their asses can jump in right with him too. Defending Jackson by using racial slurs just shows why him wearing dreads is a problem in the first place. It is all connected. Even if you can't see that. Especially when some people be the ones up in arms when someone does something to be called a koreaboo. It is the same exact thing and it shows just how little some people care when it comes to black people. Okay, I am done.

All these posts about GOT7 and their big mouths got me feeling some type of way...

So pretty much YOLO lol. In the words of Jinyoung himself... "Get out." No but for real I get it. It's nice.

Someone kick me for sleeping on Meet Me. I listened to it when it was released but for some ungodly reason I wasn't feeling it. But I have listened to nothing but it today.

Oh this is a thing that is happening? The doors have been opened and now everyone is knocking lol. Poor American music award shows

I am kind of tired of people disliking the word swagger just because of its misconstrued use in todays language. It would be different if the song was called My Swag. But no, Swagger is literally carrying yourself in a confident manner. But all people want to see is Swag and think of it as the overused term.

People calling Jackson homophobic because he told a fan to stop with their shipping mess. Even if he is straight, Jackson has done so much to support equal love between all genders. GOT7 as a whole have been practically begging for the shipping craziness to stop. And it seems to all stem back from that time a girl wore a very vulgar shirt about JB fucking Jinyoung to a fanmeet in the US. Keep that shit private or at least be respectful about it. I swear fangirls are the worst most times. Shipping but then the moment someone is discussed as actually gay they throw a fit. Or that someone is only gay for insert another member of group here. Being Gay doesnt work like that. You cant be gay for one person. I'll stop here cause wow the hypocritical list can go on. -

It is nice to see an actual affect he has had on someone. It is nice to see active results. -
Yugyeom needs to chill. He really knows how to ride the line between playful/innocent and seductive and it is getting to me. Also their make-up is on point.
