BTS Nope it's not SHINee. But omg this ship does remind me of JongKey a lot. Once a very active ship but pretty dead afterwards I just don't want shippers to attack me tbh :/ I like the way you answer. It's very thoughtful. I want to know, if you had a crush on a fellow bandmate, knowing that you weren't supposed to harbor such feelings, would you continue being super friendly with them(like all touchy and interact-y), or would you tone it down and try to keep your crushy feelings in check(still being lovely with them but at a lower scale)?

I can't exactly give examples because I don't have any specific ones, but : The first ship is just SO CLOSE. They have their own special handshake, they have piggyback rides together, they play around together a lot. Both of them are the most popular members in the group and hence also have the most number of shippers. This ship is strong af with the most skinship and interactions. The second ship is kinda weird to me cuz they used to be a lot like the first ship before, but their interactions have pretty much died down. They're still close, no doubt, and on good terms, but they don't cling to each other anymore. This ship was perhaps the most popular two years ago but is rare in recent times I actually didn't want to name the ships because I don't want shippers to reply, since they'll have biased opinions. But perhaps from the description in the previous reply, you can guess? I agree with you, but I'm asking this about having a crush on your fellow member, not about actually dating them. Obviously if you are already their romantic partner, things will be different too, but that's not my question. Having a "forbidden love" kind of a crush is bound to have an effect on your relationship, no? Haha it's not Taekook VS Jikook :') But now that I think about it, it kinda fits I actually didn't want to bring ships into this cuz I wanted unbiased opinions. I look at ships mostly as BROTPs(aka friends), but the first ship is just SO POPULAR that everywhere I go, I see shippers who are convinced that they like each other in a non-friendly manner. It's extremely overwhelming actually. Tumblr, Insta, AO3, you name it. Literally almost a million shippers. No exaggeration. I personally get "best friend" vibes from them, so I was curious to see what others thought. The second ship is just strange to me cuz it went through a big change, relationship-wise. From overly attached to almost nothing at all. But they're still friendly so it's odd to me.

I have this question I wanted to ask: Is the probability of two members in the same group having romantic feelings for each other more if they are: 1. Always messing around with each other(like playing together, cracking jokes etc.) or 2. If they are close to each other but still kinda awkward(looking away after having unexpected eye contact, staring openly at the other etc.) ? I'm currently paying attention to two different ships within the same group and both these pairs give off such different vibes

I think it's got a lot to do with the fact that the maknae line ships (Taekook/Jikook/Vmin) tend to be the most popular ships within BTS, with the exception of Yoonmin. In addition to this, the fact that Jimin keeps fawning over Jungkook leaves JiHope with lesser chances of being shipped. It's okay, a ship being more popular doesn't make it more real And vice-versa!

He was adjusting his junk before he pressed up close against J-Hope's butt though. His hands aren't moving anymore after that. But yeah, I don't consider this to be sufficient evidence to say that he's into Hobi in particular. It's just a very strange moment. EDIT: Yes, that is indeed, Jimin checking Jungkook out.

I get even more convinced day by day that V/Taehyung is going to end up marrying a woman. He keeps mentioning everywhere that he wants to continue being a filial son to his parents and be more like his dad, and wants to marry a nice girl and have two kids HE'S EVEN DECIDED WHAT THEIR NAMES ARE GOING TO BE!!!! *sobbing* I really don't think he's trying to cover up anything. He seems pretty genuine regarding his future family plans. Man, I really hope he's bi (like I believe he is) instead of gay (like most of the people here believe) cuz I really don't want him to be unhappy in life for the sake of keeping his parents or the society satisfied. Where on earth am I getting 'all defensive'? Vkook/Taekook is one of my OTPs along with Vhope, Jikook and Yoonmin. But if you think that a certain pair/ship is suspicious, you should explain why. Otherwise this thread would only consist of ship-names with no context whatsoever. And I don't know why you Taekook shippers are victimizing yourselves when Jikook shippers were attacked a few pages ago for posting about their ship? The shipping hate is not exclusive to any single ship, get it inside your head.

I can say the same exact thing about Yoonmin, Jikook, Vhope, Jihope and other BTS ships This isn't a Vkook shipping thread. Can we at least get some explanation as to why you think that? What you've said is very vague.

VHope is definitely one ship I think that is strange. They were so close in 2013 and a bit of 2014 but they became distant later. I doubt that it is because of the kiss because they didn't seem awkward or anything immediately after it(on cam anyway), but there was this obvious tension in 2014 during BIL/Danger era. They barely even interacted with each other anymore. I'm not even speaking as a shipper because I ship Taekook, Jikook, Yoonmin etc. as well, but to me, the change in VHope dynamics was rather odd. Maybe they had a fight or something was said which made it weird between them idek, but there was a shift in their relationship for sure. It was also around this time that Tae started clinging to Jungkook and J-Hope started becoming closer to Jimin. I know Tae is clingy af with all the members but he's toned it down A LOT with Hoseok compared to before. It's good to see that they're interacting more again. Maybe they've worked out whatever the problem was. Tae has also chosen Hobi to be the most beauitful member, the most hardworking member, has been caught staring at him intensely many times too, which makes it hard for me to believe that he thinks of him as a bro. Hmm I get what you're saying but he seems pretty eager to get married and have kids. The thing is, being an idol, he's not allowed to openly interact with women much and is instead around other males most of the time. Hence, his interactions with them are more. So perhaps because of this reason he seems to lean more towards males? Like we've never really seen how he is around other women unless it's fangirls( but which is probably him being good at fanservice ). I actually am used to be a huge Vhope shipper and I initially thought that he was definitely gay seeing his puppy-dog crush on Hoseok, but I believe that even if he is more into men, he's going to end up marrying a woman. Hi I just created this account a few minutes ago in order to post here! I was reading some of the BTS analysis posts and I thought I'd share my own: Rapmonster/Namjoon : Straight Jin: Straight (???) Idk but I don't think he has a thing for men. Kinda confused because of his mom-like behaviour, though. V/Taehyung: Bisexual with a preference for women, with every intention of getting married to one and making babies. He definitely had(has?) an unrequited crush on Hobi, though. J-hope/Hoseok: I can't say about him exactly but I think he likes women and he apparently acts different off-screen so I don't buy his over-the-top-crush-on-Jimin-cheerful on-screen persona Jimin: Straight(???) His obsession with Jungkook throws me off sometimes, but even that has significantly reduced from before. Jungkook: Straight (?) I blame all the Jikook and Vkook videos for making me confused Suga/Yoongi: Pansexual. He just doesn't care, really. He's made this very obvious. ALSO, if any of them DID have a crush on another member, do you think they'd act on it or do you think they'd try their hardest to make the feelings go away?
