I can't link you to it cuz I had seen the video on twitter and I cannot remember what page it was, but there was a fansign where Jimin was all excited to be seated next to Jungkook, and Taehyung was like "I think Jimin likes men" or something of that sort. I don't think Jimin replied to that, though. Some anti altered the video to make it seem like Tae called Jimin weird for liking men and it turned into this "Taehyung is homophobic" nonsense

I should've mentioned this in the original post and I'm not defending Jimin or anything, but that is an older interview they did with some Japanese magazine. I'm sure he knows better than to say such things now. And I also feel like that "clarification" was made more for Jungkook's benefit than anything else. He probably didn't want him to feel uncomfortable or whatever. Which was unnecessary cuz Jungkook apparently didn't take it in the romantic sense anyway.

He's definitely not homophobic, he probably just wanted to make sure Jungkook wasn't uncomfortable.

Idk if he kissed anything at all but the point is that Jimin even found the need to do something like that. Jungkook only got hit by a freaking plushie. He's called the Muscle Pig. He's literally the strongest person in the group by a mile. How much pain did Jimin think Jungkook was in by getting hit by a soft pokeball? It was just unnecessary as hell.

This wasn't addressed to me but I'm going to respond anyway. I really can't link you to videos and stuff showing the change in their relationship because I don't even know if such videos exist. When I joined the fandom in early 2014, I was a Taekook shipper but even then I had noticed just how close Vhope were. Literally almost every BTS video had some kind of Vhope interaction whether it was them cracking jokes together, dancing together, sitting on each other, playing around together etc. Also, they were VERY touchy. They both used to hold hands, hug and all that. In fact, they were the most popular ship in the fandom at that time ( can you imagine? ) Fans who joined the fandom mid-2014 and afterwards will NEVER understand just how close Vhope were. They started acting distant/awkward in Danger era and there was a time when they just stopped interacting. This was when MANY Vhope shippers moved on to Taekook (there are actually some famous tumblr and twitter accounts like this). The lack of interactions pretty much killed the ship, but in 2015 Vhope started getting a little more comfortable again and that's the Vhope you see today. They're still obviously close and Taehyung still adores Hoseok, but when two people even being seen in the same frame together is considered a "moment" for the ship, you just know how much the dynamics have changed. And most Vhope shippers I've seen usually even cling on to such "moments". They are still so painfully awkward sometimes I can't deal with it. There are days when they act normal but it's usually Tae craving for Hoseok's attention and getting ignored. I've also noticed that most of the awkwardness stems from Hoseok. There was this one moment in some concert when Tae leaned in for some reason and Hoseok literally fell on his back in his attempt to get away. The same Hoseok who has no problem getting all up in Jimin's face. Taehyung too has become kind of cautious in what he does or says when it comes to Hoseok. The drastic change in relationship dynamics is something most people won't understand unless they've watched Vhope more or less since their debut. Anyway, I was watching some Vmin videos a few weeks ago( yes I'm THAT Vmin trash) and this awfully angsty Vhope video was on my "Recommended": (in spoilers cuz this isn't a Vhope thread and it's just sad)

Yes because all the 1000 or so people who liked that don't know what a kiss sounds like Believe, opening up a water bottle doesn't make the sound which can be heard at 0:08. The sound at the beginning of that video, however, was definitely that of a water bottle being opened. Maybe he was drinking out of the bottle and hence that "kiss" sound is actually Hoseok's lips on the bottle. Idk why we're even talking about this. I know that there was no kiss. That's what my whole para in that post was about.

Honestly, the wet smack sound at 0:08 precisely does sound like a kiss, and neither Tae nor Hoseok are onscreen at that moment, but I still don't think they kissed. Like, they're not stupid enough to do that on live broadcast. And I also don't think they're dating or anything to actually do something like that. It's ridiculous, really. I find Vhope suspicious af but this is nothing. I see a lot of lame shit going around among BTS shippers these days. I haven't seen anybody talking about how touchy Jihope are being lately? They're constantly hugging each other (the making videos too). Even in yesterday's concert they kept hugging. And let's not forget about how Hoseok kissed Jimin's head again on his recent birthday vlive, same as last year. They're just too much

I don't believe love has to be barricaded by gender.

I really dislike this whole "SM only reveals fake couples" narrative going on here. Like maybe Baekyeon was fake, maybe Kaistal is fake(although I 100% believe that they are really dating) but the only reasoning I get here is because "Chanbaek is real" and "Kaisoo is real". I know they are the two most popular ships in EXO, but really? How many couples do you think there are within EXO? Tomorrow maybe Dispatch will reveal that Suho is dating some woman and people here might be all "NO this is 200% fake Suho is gay af did you see that one thing he did with Lay that one time?!!" (fyi this is just a random example) Like I agree that the Baekyeon thing was totally staged but it really shouldn't come down to disregarding every couple SM confirms, I don't believe dating within the same group occurs THAT often. And this is coming from a former Kaisoo shipper. I know there are many who will disagree with me but I just had to say this.

Dude idk if you follow BTS religiously the way I do, but have you noticed how Jungkook always does that tongue-in-cheek thing whenever VMin are being all chummy with each other? This has happened several times already over the past few months ever since Jimin's birthday. Tae and Jimin were never so nauseatingly cute and inseparable before that. I wonder what happened. I'm glad Jungkook is mingling with other groups though. It makes me happy.
