I get unreasonably angry when people shove non binary/genderfluid characters in fanfics. It shouldn't be a big deal but when I see pronouns like they/them/It instead of him/her I want to flip tables. not only is it random and confusing it also makes the writer seem like a pretentious twat

People criticize the naruto/harry/luffy type of characters for being repetitive and cliche but morally grey and cynical characters are so overdone they've become a cliche as well. It doesnt matter what you prefer but I really don't like it when characters in the second category are immediately considered well written and "realistic" but the first category will be written off as unrealistic and cliche even when they make sense or have good points. I guess the edgelord, defeatist and cynical attitude is trendy now

Probably a generic choice but do you. It's just so catchy and I like the message a lot. Too much (I know RM regrets this song but still I really like it),joke and God rap were great too.

Imo the album version of butterfly is better than the prologue version. I love the acoustic guitar and the rap verses. The prologue version sounds repetitive

I never got the hate over Ron/hermione getting together they were very well fleshed out in the books. I can understand movie only people being confused because Ron's character is completely butchered there and the director threw in some blatant harry/hermione shippy moments. But if you've read the books there's no basis for shipping harry and hermione. He at most loves her in a sisterly way and there's many times he finds her bossy personality abrasive and boring. Hermione in turn can't handle his temper and was pretty dismissive/overly rational about some of his problems or opinions. Tbh harry/ginny and harry/cho were also shit. I would've preferred it if harry stayed alone, he really didn't have much chemistry with any of the existing female characters. Another ship I can't get behind is dramoine. First of all someone like draco who was raised to be an extreme bigot would never be able to put aside his prejudices against muggles and muggle borns to the point he'd be cool with dating them. Also Hermione was very moralistic, there's no way she would date a guy who treated her like a 3rd rate person and had no problem wishing she and people like her were wiped out forever. At most ( once draco matures after the war ) they could put aside their differences and be friendly or civil. But I ship drarry so maybe I'm a hypocrite lol

I like bakugo cause he's entertaining but I can acknowledge that he's an asshole. Some of his fans reach so much to make him seem like this deep, kind, misunderstood person. Like he'll do one decent thing and people cream their pants over character development. Also I don't want his character to turn out that way in the first place, we already have Todoroki with the whole tortured childhood trope. MHA in general is nice but very overrated. It's not something that sticks with you or makes you think, it's more like mindless entertainment. Personally they need to increase the stakes, get better villains and improve on fight choreography.

Most magical girl anime are meant to inspire little girls with their girl power messages. Nothing wrong with people outside the intended demographic liking them though, but it's just not my cup of tea. What I meant was madoka is one of the few in this genre that goes against all the tropes and has a pretty though provoking story.

No the best one (for me) is naruto vs sasuke VOTE2 It has great fight choreography, strategy, emotion and movie level animation. If you want good female fights watch claymore or AOT.

It's not that black or white. The power dynamics is an issue if the person with power decides to abuse it to get what they want. However that isn't the case every time. Army's should take the high road and let go of the whole western validation fiasco that happened last year. When has it happened that kpop fans have admitted to being hypocritical shits? Now that bts has won most major awards it's really not very exciting anymore. The only time I felt exhilarated about it was 2016 MAMA and MMA. I'd feel a bit salty once they stop winning them but it's not such a big deal tbh
