  1. Hanteo Sales LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear': 649 // 1,239,345 MEMORIES OF 2017 (SRN): 371 // 61,579
  2. Juri was ready to activate her Majijo Yankee mode like in AKBingo. :D Sadly in Korean show she would get cursed for that so I hope it won't make on Pann or anything... :/ And Miu's one is just her catchphrase. She debuted when she was starting middle school and since then she's just changing her age in catchphrase.
  3. This is actually good scenario. I didn't watch previous seasons but I've seen never ending posts on Pann. The moment they announced JYP trainee and "almost Twice member" will be on the show I knew she will win that so I wasn't even interested in watching, in season two final Center wasn't popular since the beginning so I guess it was more interesting to follow and Kirin-chan story would be similar case. Topped again so have some Nakanishi Chiyori beating her haters:
  4. Kirin-chan is becoming my fixed pick (? it means she's my oshi now, right?). She would be very interesting center and seems to be liked in both KR and JPN.
  5. First four Janken Tournaments guaranteed Center position in AKB48 OFFICIAL single. 1st one most likely wasn't rigged because the winner was completely unknown member and AKB Ace Maeda Atsuko was dancing in 3rd row (it looked hilarious btw.) + it was before AKB started selling 1M+ with each single. Also sales decreased to 690k after first 1M+ seller Beginner, and next single (ballad!) also sold over 1M+ so Chance no Junban's sales look tragic in comparison. It shows how important choosing good Senbatsu is. 2nd one was already during the time when they were popular group with few 1M+ singles. The winner was Shinoda Mariko, highest SSK rank #3. UE KARA MARIKO sold 1.3M copies, twice more compared to Chance no Junban. 3rd winner was rising Undergirl Shimazaki Haruka (later High Tensin center). At that time she was pushed a lot and winning center position in Janken Tournament helped her joining Senbatsu on SSK next year and Kami 7 two years later. Eien Pressure sold 1.2M copies. 4th winner is very well known here - Matsui Jurina, pushed by managment since she was 11 y.o. This is when people were VERY loud about Janken Tournament being rigged because 3/4 centers till now were popular or rapidly rising members. Single of course sold over million but this was also the last time when single's Senbatsu was chosen by Janken Tournament. Next the prize was solo debut or solo concert for already debuted members. WINNERS 5th Watanabe Miyuki (NMB48) - known for her fanservice, Undergirls/Senbatsu on SSK. First week sales: 41,068 6th Fujita Nana (AKB48) never ranked in SSK. First week sales: 12,378 Obviously popular member sold way more. 7th JT's rules: "The rewards were as follows: #1 to #7: Will form a unit #8 to #14 runners-up: will get a coupling song" It has sold less than 10k in first week. 8th prize: "Unlike the previous years, the members can form units by themselves and a representative of a unit will compete against others for a major single debut." 12k copies sold in first week. I hope you can see the difference between 2-4 winners and the rest. You can never say "it's not rigged anymore" because if management see an opportunity they will go for it. ______ I wonder if Produce group will adapt some AKB48 games... Choosing center for promoted on music shows b-side this way wouldn't be bad. And we know all girls will have support from their solo fans anyway.

  7. Click here to view the Tweet Sasshi being Sassy... Matsuoka Natsumi is the one who said "let's do rock-paper-scissors for center position". I hope AKS takes a note and she will win Rigged Janken this year!
  8. Lol, I was searching for The Truth Untold rumors if there were any but I got BTS' comeback date notification instead. Everyone on Twitter is deleting rumored squads.
  9. It's business after all, give and take relationship and both idols and fans in Japan know that, they just don't talk about it loud so they can enjoy it. Fans are consumers and if they won't be satisfied with changes in their oshimen's appearance, actions, lifestyle they can just go find another girl to support within AKB. Even supporting your family member in something you don't agree with isn't easy and you are talking about celebrities. Most fans won't support them the same way after being abandoned for 1.5 year and that's how it works. Look at past AKB's members, how many fans have stayed with them after graduation...?
  10. More about how 48G work from their producer Aki-P (from 2012): Part 1: (handshake event attended by 100,000 people in 11 hours) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bNDh7NDi2Q Part 2: (Oshima Yuko, SSK Winner from 2012 handshake room & no.1 handshaker Kashiwagi Yuki) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW8FQJF4pWA Part 3: (Lemon-san out-handshaking AKB members, top AKB48 members becoming wotas, ft. pantsu NG) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuPNip8sYO4 Part 3: (summary of handshake, ft. gloomy idol Shimazaki Haruka) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-mw29DrwYs The future of P48's group in Japan.
  11. Yeah, I meant people who have popular members in their top12. For Miyu P48 is doing wonders because it boosts her popularity in Japan too from what I've seen. I would say it's like re-evaluation. F rank members can only go higher, while A rank can go down or just maintain their position on top.
  12. Some people in this thread act like AKB experts but they can't even tell the difference between SSK and Senbatsu... :/ It's (despite Japanese side being terribly ignored) still collaboration between Produce 101 and AKB48 franchise. If you wanna discuss 48G's members future in Japan after P48, please learn first how it works. Try to read some threads on stage48.net before saying ridiculous stuff about how 48 girls have nothing to loose. Or think about it this way: TWICE, GFRIEND, RED VELVER or MOMOLAND members are joining "Produce...". Let's say girls like Sana, Jihyo, Tzuyu, Eunha, Yuju, Seulgi, Joy, JooE, Nancy and Yeonwoo are in the final group and now they won't be promoting with their original groups for next 1.5 year. At all. And then "Produce..." group is disbanding. Can you see distaster it would cause? 48Gs have many members but the amount of known and popular isn't that big to send them away for that long. Japanese fans can actually meet their faves through handshakes, theater, etc. and that's how they connect. It's like long distance relationship (friendship?). Only people who are SUPER close would be able to maintain their friendship with not being able to see each other for 1.5 year. Japanese fans won't be satisfied with SNS updates from Korea because for them it would be downgrade in communication. Popularity is fragile, everywhere. That's why male idols after ending their military service aren't that popular anymore and one of reasons why they try to avoid it as long as possible.
  13. Thanks for that! Also, were you maybe thinking about blocking your videos in South Korea? Under Miyu's compilation there is a lot ugly comments. :/
  14. About voting, they could do it this way: Korea 1 vote = 1 point Japan 1 vote = 0.5 point (because wotas + Japan is more than twice as big but still has k-pop fans that wouldn't vote for AKB girls) World 1 vote = 0.33 point (because we aren't that important and we would be happy with anything at this point, lol) Their precious "National Producers" title would be safe and group would seem more global as the wanted. I can think about few other restrictions now but it seems like Mnet just doesn't want us to vote, and not because "it's unfair".
  15. That would be actually interesting because Miyu was AKB48's 9th generation ace but was surpassed by Shimazaki Haruka while Sakura was the one who surpassed HKT48's 1st generation ace Kodama Haruka.
  16. Oh! That's great then! I think this way girls will get songs they suit the most. And we won't end up with Japanese rapping in Korean again. sorry bbyteam2 Btw. All songs were in Korean, right? My stream was...
  17. Somi looks older than her age tho but still... there was so many people saying she's too young and that's not right to put a child under Center pressure. :/ She did well tho.
