I think they will, usually when companies have some regrets with their past groups, they try to make up for it with their newer groups. Even tho YG did faaaaaaaaaar better with 2ne1 then with Swi.T, there were still many mistakes on YGs part.

Tbh I really wonder what image these girls will go for. I don't think Jisoo would mesh with a really powerful/non-feminine image.

 

I think these girls should do something like F(x), girly yet edgy. 

 

 

Knowing SM, it could've been done tbh. I sense that they were still something that isn't done about them. In reality, I think they were supposed to debut later (2015ish) but they didn't. But considering Irene's age, maybe not.

Yeah I really hope this pushes YG to focus on these girls. Tbh I think the whole "they are coming back soon" thing is a lie (unless it's just a single, and even then I don't see it).

 

Just hope that with the mistakes YG made with their past girl groups, he'll fix with this group (and Future 2ne1).

 

If JYP can do this with Twice, I have have faith even in YG that'll they'll do better with these girls (even if I only have a little faith in YG).

The funny thing is that YG may start focusing on the girls to cover up the whole Minzy thing.

 

Kinda reminds me of the F(x) Sulli issue and how Red Velvet debuted days after that (although tbh that could have just been a coincidence lol).

I think it would be great if Jisoo ends up being a good vocalist and/or dancer. Although tbh even if she is weak on the talent department, she is the visual so as long as she can keep up with the rest, she's served her role.

Yeah I like 2ne1 so this sucks (especially with Kara disbanding not to long ago). With 2ne1 likely disbanding and BB enlisting (probrably not getting back for a while) the new generation is going to have to come out now.

 

Winner and Ikon should help cover for boy groups, so hopefully YG hurries up with Pink Punk and Future 2ne1 to cover for girl groups.

Yeah tbh I could take a survival show

 

Even for those who don't get in could still get a chance to debut in another company (ex: Hongseok is going to debut in Pentagon).

 

Also Produce 101 and Sixteen had huge success, Sixteen being the most successful out of all survival shows. So YG should definitely do the same for the girls.

 

Only thing I'm scared for are the victims Mnet will have with their evil editing. Although even then I think more people are starting to be more aware of that.

Btw just wanted to say YG really screwed up by not sending anyone to produce101, it became way bigger than any survival show YG could ever hope to accomplish. From South Korea's ruling diplomatic party to entire schools dancing to their song. Did anyone see that Sejeong article? it had 17k+ up-votes, like jesus not even popular established idols get that much attention and exposure let alone a trainee who hasn't debuted and she's not even from that big of a company. Them being from YG is not gonna compensate for the exposure they could've potentially gained by going on the show.

Now that I think about it, I'm kinda worried about their being a survival show for YGNGG.

 

It would be okay if they trained for like 1-3 years. But majority have trained for like 5-7 years, F2ne1 pretty much been in YG for half their lives.

Hello since Yuyu is joining YG I thought I'd visit this thread to learn about her future group at YG.

 

I was a bit confused though because I was expecting this thread to have all the YG girl trainees in the OP since no one is confirmed for the group (except Jennie)

 

To me after Suah did Unpretty Rapstar it seemed like Pink Punk and F2NE1 could end up together...unless YG is planning WIN2

 

Anyway I'm going to backtrack a bit now and look around for info.

Was Yuyu the only one, or did the rest of Mazinger join YG as well?

 

And yeah at this point I wouldn't be surprised if PP and F2ne1 were put together. There aren't that many trainees left in YG (as far as we know) and if YG still plans on having a bigger group, they could easily put them together.

 

The only thing that makes me think it's still possible for the groups to be separate is that both are going for different demographics.

 

Although even then, they can add both demographics together.

Wish they could have had an OT11 photoshoot

i like chungha better for that position tbh

 

The reason I said Sejeong is because of her kindness mixed with her leadership skills, although Chungha would definitely make for a great leader tbh.
