This thread is for discussing BigBang and not what a bunch of kids on tumblr or twitter think about BigBang. I don't give a fuck about any other boygroup beside BigBang so it's incredibly annoying whenever I go and I find people comparing BigBang to others. We've been through this for yearsss, BB vs ... and it changes every year with BigBang still out on top. It's tiring. BigBang are still at the top, that's why all those new kpop fans keep coming for them, keep comparing their favs to them, keep talking about 'the next BigBang' or who's gonna take their 'throne' from them now that they're enlisting. They don't know BigBang only have a comeback once every blue moon and they still annihilate all the other groups. I'd rather 'brag' about BigBang's charting, about the fact they got 1.2mil unique listeners, how they're the only boy group to have a PAK (which is incredibly hard to achieve with just fandom power), how they attracted more than 2mil people in just one of their tours, how they're the only kpop act on forbes, about a lot of things really. Honey, BigBang is the only kpop group that has MVs above 200million, not just one but two, and those were brought on by people genuinely watching the movies and not streaming them 24/7. Catch the motherfucking tea on this. Billboard? BigBang is the first group to rank on the Billboard, they fucking paved the way for the other groups to do the same. And please, why are those kids only focusing on just the Billboard chart when it's only one of plenty fucking millions of charts in the world? What about the Japanese charts or the Chinese charts? Or are those purposely ignored because those 'younger' groups can't rank decently on them like BigBang? Those are the only so-called 'records' that kid is worried about? BigBang still rules in physicals (+7million), digitals, touring (they're the biggest touring kpop act ever), concerts, fanmeetings, recognition domestically and worldwide, they're the only kpop act to land on Forbes' list. BigBang still reigns on digitals in Korea. What charts are they surpassing them on 'easily'? Take a look now, Korea just woke up and all those streamed songs are falling down like flies while the other songs, the actual songs the public gives a shit about are rising. BigBang had 1.2million unique listeners listening to their song in the first day, tell me another 'younger' group that has that same number? Literally none. They're the only boy group to have achieved PAK. Literally no other boy group has achieved that. They have the most roofhits among all kpop group ever. BigBang comes back every 3 years or something and they still slay all those 'younger' groups that that tumblr kid is 'worried' about. Puhlease.

Yes, these were mentioned but they're really great so watch it: Shinsekai Yori - Absolutely amazing. The world building in this is top notch, imo. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - the art might throw you off a bit but it's amazing and creepy. Psycho Pass - Another great series from Urobuchi.
