  1. people foaming at the mouth to "stick it" to fandom and/or idols themselves are no less ridiculous than oppalogists. he either sampled without knowing who he was sampling and that would be dumb and ignorant. or he used it knowingly as some sort of hyperbole which makes it perfectly understandable why fans make their theories. you can ignore the context of the mix-tape if it's an absolute taboo for you to sampe madmen's speeches. understandable. but if you start picking and choosing who is allowed to do it and who is not, then maybe don't ignore the fact that there was a refference to mad murderers in both his flex tracks and that MV to one of those flex-track shows him couping against his mad murderous self.
  2. 1 gang per day is coming through. it's amusing and I am now genuinely looking forward to Rain, Yoo Jae Suk&Lee Hyori's group
  3. i thought she came out with a single out of nowhere but it's a 4 years old song, oh wow
  4. Thank you OP for the link to transcript! I couldn't hear what was said in the sample. Not gonna tell anyone how to feel about it. As for myself, since I didn't and still don't have any strong feelings about Jin Jones, I had to imagine it was Hitler's speech he had sampled. And it seems like I still wouldn't care. My immediate assumption would be the artist's fascination with the persona or the circumstances around their terrible deeds, not that the artist used deaths of my people for aesthetic. The Daewshita's MV has mad king(Gwanghae) chopping off heads in it. On mix-tape tracks go Daewshita->What do you think->Strange which makes me think that indeed there might be a hyperbolic reasoning behind his use of the sample of mass murderer using Bible to obtain power over people. I would call it "ignorant" only if he used it without having any knowledge about Jones.
  5. the beginning made me think they gonna bring forward band intrumentals in a mix but it went even more elctro which made me appreciate the original more lol
  6. strong Tinie Tempah, Larsson's Girls Like vibes for me lol is there gonna be an MV? edit: and they sampled M J Cone wonder if candy is also sampled
  7. i confirm the sarcasm. also you are lovely
  8. damn but k-pop has been doing some numbers in physical market. my wrinkly face remembers when 500k was the year-end top seller for bgs
  9. well but MY country is in lockdown, and who cares about nuances anyway, you defend them but they will spit on you
  10. there are/were like hundreds of groups and somehow i think very few of them actually have/had genuinely good relationship between ALL members. first you need luck to end up in a team without nasty personalities and straight up not good or no-good people. then you yourself gotta be wise enough or smart enough to learn how to respect and trust virtual strangers with whom you were forced to cooperate with - cause if you are together all the time(and often it's a stressful time) just superficially liking each other is not enough. and then on top of that the circumstances of each group are also different - personal goals clashing, management's favouritism etc.
  11. hmm maybe it was overshadowed by Se7en's army controversy but i can't even remember any of Rain's scandals. don't think it's a "bash", more like what worked for him in 00's didn't much in 10's -> got memed -> owned it. still got it though
  12. have you heard of "1 gang per day"? till today i was still stuck in Rainism&Hip song glorious days, blissfully unaware of his lyrics and thinking he was the IT man, marrying Tae Hee and what not. but good to know he is a good sport. that I-LAND show just got that bit more interesting lol
  13. i watched that mv too many times now and am going to watch couple more before i go to sleep, it's too good
  14. addiction is a hell of your own making. i think it's pretty clear his intention isn't to mock mental illness or physical/psychological addiction as a phenomenon. but it is a jab at attitude some have towards their conditions and excuses they come up with on why they take what they take(obv. outside prescribed pharmaceuticals). it's not uncommon in his field to take drugs for "inspiration" etc. anyway. it is a treat and a half.
  15. boy progressed in bondage too. it's all going to be a damn treat
  16. May 22nd. Don't forget to act surprised tomorrow though.
  17. this 97 situation turned out to be interesting. no surprise from knetz, but from international side apparently the popular approach is to project both your own country's corona-status/implemented polices and personal conditions. SK had ~10 cases per day at the time(and almost there again after the outbreak) and you bet they were in masks and not keen to get in anyone's face. unnecessary and imprudent the whole outing was for sure, but some dramatics that went on in response.. well they kinda make me want to eye roll. on second thought i am surprised by k-side. silly me, of course there gotta be a blue house petition.
  18. is it silly to hope for a mixtape? AD2 here we go
  19. i watch run, bv and performances(fancams or streams usually). i got glimpses of everything else on twt and check it out if it's interesting to me. honestly bangtantv channel has like days of content, it would take some crazy dedication to watch it all lol
  20. i want new bts album to have 0 fanservice songs, what a miracle would that be
  21. don't underestimate homophobia in societies with homophobic majority
  22. it's strange as hell that there could be any agreement reached in an opened criminal case but if victims chose $ instead of extra year or 2 of imprisonment i guess fair enough? it's their right to decide what's gonna help them more
  23. right now still many from both fandoms would have a bloody diarrhea but couple years down the road it's not impossible
