Thoughts on the Jimmy Kimmel live: - I was hoping for an interview but for the amount of coverage Kimmel has done, I'm still glad they got to promote Mic Drop performance on cable television - I definitely get why they had to mute the fanchants, it's a different audience after all. I really appreciate how they all sound because hearing them sing live like this and knowing more muggles can appreciate them for their music and talents. It's not like the fanchants were totally gone, coz you can hear on the parts they don't have to sing. - I like the diversity of the song line-up. From playful 'Go go' to the trendy tropical house 'Save Me' then romancing our feels with 'I need you' but brings it back to their swag with 'Fire' then literally dropping the Mic with the 'Mic Drop'. I'm still totally new to the fandom but to newer fans, they can pick their own cup of tea in watching the performances. - Lol @ the girl climbing the fence but at least she tried. I'm slowly catching up to all the videos and content from before I joined but I can't believe I never listened to BTS songs up until 2 months ago and it was even because I accidentally pressed the Blood, Sweat and Tears video - but I'm glad I did. I'm such a casual listener that I barely follow the artist coz there's not a lot of music that fits my fancy to listen to all the time. But I went through a lot of their songs and backtracking here and there and I found some of the hip-hop styles that I adore (especially loving the songs Suga produced, especially the Outro: Her). Then reading the lyrics, the interpretation, the choreography and the creative intricacies behind it - I was very much hooked. As a designer and dancer, I'm getting so much inspiration from following them as artists. Okay /end random thought
