I am honestly overwhelmed.
If I was working for Dispatch, I would also look for any excuse/pretext to invite Taeyong to a monthly photoshoot/project!

HOLY !!!!
TAEYONG SOLO, I can't even express the feelings that are pouring out of me!
I am out of my mind!!
How is this young man so talented??!?!?!
I don't understand, like he can do it all?!?!?
HE MAKES ME WEAK, GAWD.
And I heard that he sang/rap in Korean, English, and Japanese!!
Woah!
He is truly amazing.
(and I will not be surprised if Taeyong choreographed the dance break)
TY stans are so lucky tbh
TheTALENTjumped out with Taeyong.
So freaking proud. Wow.
Lowkey, when I heard him sing in Baby Don't Stop (and Paradise),
I thought I'd have to wait a couple years before I could hear him sing.
I hope he will be acknowledged as a great artist some day, it is what he DESERVES.
I'm sorry for the rant but TAEYONG makes me do stuff I normally don't do!!!!!!
Stanning him = easiest decision I have ever made
I hope he will be acknowledged as a great artist some day

Wow!!! YoonA and Bogum really hard-carry in this episode!!! Even when they don't have Sang Soon and Hyori is sick, they still do works perfectly.
Even though I have known for a very long time how awesome YoonA is, she is still keeping surprising me.
And Park Bogum is for sure funny and charming in his own.
The season keeps getting better and better, even more interactions with guests in this episode.
Still feeling sad for Jodo team (and low-key Yeon sisters too) though that they miss a chance to meet Bogum hahaha (Daejeon Fin.k.l. are surely so lucky)
Can't wait for next episode...also season 3 yeah!!!
You took the words out of my mouth. Exactly what I wanted to say.

I had no idea this thread was active in December.. like, a week ago?
haven't been posting here for awhile.
I wonder what variety shows Jiwon will star on besides NJTTW and Plan Man (which is kind of obligatory for him). I want to see him on other shows too!
Jiwon taking care of kids in "Kang's Kitchen" is awesome. He's so talented with kids (shame he doesn't have any his own, but).
He will be on The Travelers and has a new show on Channel A called Coming Soon where he will be on of the MCs!

i am embarrassed too when receiving compliments, but try to appreciate them complimenting us and just say thanks then divert the attention to something else lol! Or even better if we can compliment the person complimenting us (compliment-ception)
Same hahahahh! That's why I understood him.

I think it's pretty obvious that San likes Rin romantically while she just treats Won as a really good friend? Her reaction is always very different when Rin is talked about. And I actually think that Rin taking actions (kissing etc) is good because San is too kind to break Won away by herself, as she mentioned about the thread and all that. Meanwhile, Rin knows this and I think we can all see that his main aim is to just take San and leave all this mess. Rin is simply placing his love over his friendship (and even asking permission from Won for it), which is kind of what Won did in the earlier episodes but I see no one bashing him... Just because he's the king and he has the right to do so???
But yeah I still hope for the friendship between the three to remain though it seems really unlikely

You're right. I think they maintained their friendship but to do so Won had to let San & Rin go and not keep them by his side. It's bittersweet for Won for sure, but they were still friends in the end

Book 1 Summary
Historical Context
Story opens in the heart of Goryeo (개경) during a time when they were ruled over by the Mongolian Empire. The citizens are tired from having to offer up goods and women as tribute and they blamed the King of Goryeo for the blunt of their problems.
1. “The Boysâ€
Won and Lin are wondering outside the palace when they run into two women giving food to those in need. Here they learn that the two women were ordered to do so by their lady--the great merchant Baek’s daughter. They also learn that Baek’s daughter who was once considered a beauty, ran into a thief a few years ago that killed her mother and left her with a large scar on her face.
Leaving the back alley, they run into a boy who was helping another younger boy from getting mugged by two older men. Watching the fight turn unfavorably for the boy, Lin jumps in pummels the two men immediately. Won surprised by the appearances of the boy begins talking to Lin, in Uyghur, about how feminine the boy looked. Won is surprised once again when the boy, understanding Uyghur, calls Won rude for talking about his looks in front of him. Wanting to find out more about the boy, Won invites him to meet with the crown prince, telling him that the prince would love someone as beautiful as him serving besides him. The boy declines the offer, telling Won that the crown prince isn’t one to judge based on looks, and walks away.
On the way back to the palace, Lin sees a familiar face and asks Won to return to the palace by himself so that he could further investigate the matter. Lin backtracks back to the market area to see his brother Jeon having a secret meeting. Wanting to learn who he was talking to, Lin hides in a small aisle just outside the entrance, but before too long the boy he met just a few hours ago comes bursting out the front gate with men chasing after him. Not having time to think, Lin instinctively grabs the boy’s wrist and runs away into an alley. Once safe, Lin demands answers but as he begins yelling they hear footsteps getting closer to them. The boy taking advantage of the situation, opens the door to leave, but is shoved hard in the chest by Lin. The boy let out a small gasp and runs away from Lin, but Lin doesn’t give chase. Instead he stands there silently looking at his palms.
*
The boy runs into his house and is greeted by a girl, named Biyeon, who has a long scar below her eye. She also reveals that the boy Won and Lin had just met was not a boy, but in fact a girl, named San--the daughter of the great merchant Baek. San is furious with Lin for touching her chest, but is called away by her father who wanted to talk to her about her marriage plans. Baek reveals that he plans to betray the crown prince and marry San to the Jeon, Lin’s brother, whom he plans on making the new crown prince.
San still angry at Lin goes to the meeting place Won told her to be at. There she meets Won, who reveals himself as the crown prince, and Lin. San is also revealed to be a girl and the daughter of the merchant Baek, and confesses that her father made up the lie of her face being scarred to protect her from being taken tribute. Moved by her courage, Won invites her into their group.
2. “Investigationâ€
One day, San runs away to go meet up with Won and Lin, and Biyeon is forced to play the part of her doppelganger to cover up for her. Hiding behind a veil she is approached by a stranger who hints that she knows that the person behind veil wasn’t San.
*
Under the order of Won, Lin is forced into teaching San archery. During the lesson, they both accuse each other of being spies and San, pointing the bow at Lin, warns him that she’ll kill him if he plans to betray Won with his brother Jeon.
*
Back at home, Lin is confronted with an angry Jeon who accuses him of selling his own brother out to the “Mongolian princeâ€. Unable to contain his brother, Lin feels pressured to find a way to save both his family and the prince, and plans to go meet San.
*
In the meantime, San learns of an attempted assassination on the crown prince and in order to save him, once again, convinces Biyeon to play her doppelganger.
*
The stranger that met with Biyeon is revealed to be a women named Booyoung, a skilled concubine, who is working alongside Songin, the son of a politician. Songin talks about his plans to assassinate Won and how he controls both Jeon and the merchant Baek.
(bed scene)
3. “Huntâ€
After losing a sparing match to Lin, San demands a rematch. Won tells her to give up for today and gives her a ornamental dagger to soothe her feelings. San asks if she can help him during the hunt, but Won declines mentioning that due to his bet with the king there’s a member cap for each team.
San begins to make preparation to foil the assassination attempt on Won, but unbeknownst to her she is being followed by Lin the entire time. Having located the assassins camp, San goes into their barracks at night to ransack their supplies, but is surprised when she sees Lin there. Hearing noises in the tent next door, Lin grabs San and falls to the ground, covering their bodies with fur clothing. After the assassins leave, San tells Lin of the assassination attempt, but Lin brushes it off and forces San to go back home.
*
Late at night, Lin goes to meet Won and asks him not to take part in the hunt. Without asking a single question, Won agrees not to go. The next day Won seeks in audience with the King, at the hunting ground, and tells him that he has no attention of taking part in the hunt. On the way back from the hunt, he runs into a little boy and learns that San has been taking in and looking after slaves.
*
San seeks out Lin and asks what happened to Won. Lin tells her that he is safe, but that he lost track of the assassins. San tells Lin that both her father and his brother are just pawns of someone else plan, and without asking any question, Lin tells her that he trusts her and that he considers her a companion.
*
Biyeon disguised as San, is approached, once again, by Booyoung who introduces her to an older man, named Mooseok, whom she promises will help comfort Biyeon.
4. “Tributeâ€
While helping Won get ready for his trip to Pyeongjoo, Lin is lost in thoughts about the coup his brother is planning against the crown prince. He attempts to speak to the prince about it, but is interrupted by the prince, who after taking a look at Lin promises to protect his family no matter what happens. Moved by Won’s promise, Lin also promises to protect the prince. Won and Lin also worry about the repercussions San could face if the fact she’s sheltering slaves came to light. In order to prevent any backlash against San, Won orders Lin to forge a family register to make the slaves whole again. Lin protests at first as he would be breaking the law, but Won reminds him that sometimes you need to commit a small acts of evil to combat an even greater one. As they continue to talk about San, Won begins to wonder why she isn’t here, as it would his last chance to see her in quite some time, and asks Lin to look after San while he is gone--reminding Lin that San and him are his friends and that he would do anything for them.
*
San talks to Biyeon about the conflicting feelings she has for Lin. San tells her about the time she met Lin watching girls being dragged out of their houses so that they could be sent as tribute to Mongolia. San is furious at Lin for just standing there, watching the events unfold. Lin however, explains that if he were to save them some other poor girls would have to take their place. San complains about how cold hearted he is, but also talks about how she can’t stop looking at him or thinking about him, and finally admits to liking him. Biyeon also talks about her feelings for Mooseok, at which point San encourages her to run away with him and how she would fully support them.
Out on the streets, San runs into more girls being dragged out of their houses and intervenes. Drawing her blade she engages in combat with the guard. Eventually, as it looks like she’s about to lose the battle, Lin jumps in. He forces the guard to leave and returns the girls back to their family. San asks Lin how this situation was any different than the last, to which he replies, “You.â€
Looking off to the distant, Lin sees his family and kicks San out of his house. San curious to see what they’ll discuss sneaks back into the house through the back and eavesdrops on their conversation. Lin’s family asks him if he talked to the crown prince about his sister, Dan, being taken as a tribute. Lin replies that if he had talked to Won, some other girl would have been taken away to take Dan’s place and that would be morally wrong. His parents get angry with Lin as Dan herself was serving as a replacement for the merchant Baek’s daughter, San. Upon hearing this, San is devastated and overwhelmed with guilt. After Lin’s family leaves, San demands that they go talk to Won. Lin refuses and explains that he chose San over his own sister because she was a precious friend of Won. Back home, San breaks down into tears blaming herself for Biyeon’s current predicament, of being unable to leave her room, and for Lin’s sister being taken away as tribute.
*
Back in Pyeongjoo Won learns about Dan being taken as tribute and thinks of an idea to save her. He seeks out his mother, who he finds walking alongside Dan, and tells her that he has fallen in love with Dan and plans to marry her.
5. Festival
Won is ecstatic that Lin is becoming a member of his family, but Lin worries that a marriage born out of sympathy cannot last. Won tells Lin that he truly loves Dan, but Lin warns him that he’ll regret the marriage the moment he truly falls in love with someone. The two joke around for awhile, but fall quiet when they see San. San who normally dressed up in men attire showed up in a beautiful golden dress, with her hair neatly tied with a red hair tie. Not knowing what to say they end up teasing her about it. Frustrated, she starts drinking and disappears into the crowd, leaving the two boys alone.
*
Dan wanting to see the prince, decided to follow her brother to the festival, knowing he’d meet up with Won. She sneaks around the festival taking peeps at the prince when she see’s beautiful girl dressed in gold walks up to her brother and prince. Seeing how close the three seem, she beginning to feel a little jealous when she’s approached by two strangers. As they attempt to seduce Dan, they’re interrupted by San, but they immediately recognize San as the young boy that fought them back in the alley and kidnap her. Not knowing what to do, Dan runs towards her brother and prince and tell them that their friend had been kidnapped. Won immediately orders one of his guard to accompany Lin and search for San, while he’ll take the remaining guards and accompany Dan back home.
*
Mooseok once again comes to visit Biyeon, who happily explains to him that San gave her permission to leave. Mooseok refuses to leave, saying that they aren’t in a rush and that they can wait till San is married.
(bed scene)
*
After looking all over town, Lin discovers San under an oak tree. He chases away the kidnappers then takes a look at San to only find that she’s deep asleep. After admiring her beauty for a while, he gently wakes her up. They begin to talk with one another and Lin mentions that he will be leaving, to Daedo, soon with Won and that San should look to settle down. San refuses to do so, saying that she has someone she already loves and that she would rather take her own life than marry anyone else. She then storms off warning Lin that she’ll kill him if he follows her tonight.
6. The Marriage Proposal
Songin gives Booyoung access into the palace by turning her into a court lady and introduces her to the king. The king sleeps with Booyoung and renames her Moobi.
(bed scene)
*
Dan goes to meet her aunt who talks about her marriage with the king. She mentions how similar he was to Won, and that he also promised her his unwavering love, but forgot about her soon enough. Dan has faith that Won will be different and switches the topic to Jeon who wants to marry San. With so many contradicting rumors surrounding San, Dan decides to go meet her in person. But before she can leave, Lin steps in and asks if she could help him meet San.
*
In Daedo, Emperor Wuzong (Khayishan) of the Mongolian Empire, congratulates Won on his marriage, but mentions that becoming the king of Goryeo with a Goryeo wife wouldn’t be very practical. He pushes Won towards taking in a new wife, Botapsillin. Won is conflicted about the marriage, but not because of Dan, but rather he keeps thinking about San. It’s at this point he realizes that he loves San and regrets marrying Dan over San.
*
Back at home San and Biyeon are both frantically packing their belongings. San to get away from the marriage with Jeon and Biyeon to run away with Mooseok. They decide to have San leave first and Biyeon later to avoid attracting attention. Mooseok comes to pick up San and leads her through the forest. There she meets the two men who kidnapped her at the festival. They reveal themselves to be on the same side as Mooseok and kidnap her once again.
7. Prisoner of the Den
San learns that she has been captured by Goryeo patriots who despise the current royal family as they are essentially pawns of the mongolian empire. They reveal their plan to use her as leverage to receive better treatment from Songin in their joint rebellion against the current royal family. San warns them that they are just being used and will be cast away afterwards. She then tells them to go seek Wang Lin, when they are in trouble. The leader of the rebel, Yooshim then tells the men to take her to his daughter, Songhwa.
*
Lin goes to San’s house and learn from Biyeon that San has ran away and that San’s father is gravely ill. Biyeon informs Lin that Mooseok knows whre San is and that he plans on coming tomorrow to come take her as well.
*
Songin learns of Yooshim’s betrayal and orders his men to kill the messenger Yooshim sent. The messenger, who are the same men that have kidnapped San twice now btw, remember what San told them start running towards Wang Lin’s house.
*
San befriends Songhwa and learns more about the rebel faction and their struggle against the mongolian empire. She tries her best to convince them that Won is different. That despite being mongolian he is also part goryeo. Amidst their heated discussion, the estate is ambushed by Songin’s men. One of the men run San down, pinning her to the ground and begins to choke her to death. And with her light flashing before her eyes, she cries out for Lin. With the last of her strength she reaches out for the ornamental dagger Won gave her as a gift and plunges the knife deep into the man's chest before she faints.
Lin arrives on the estate and rushes into the fray, slaying everyone in his way. He soon discovers San hidden under a man's body, covered in blood. He initially believes her to be dead, but noticing that she was still breathing wakes her up and embraces her in his arm.
8. Crack
Once everything returned to normal, Lin tries to find out more about the perpetrator, but learns that all the knowledge the rebels had disappeared with Yooshim’s death and Mooseok’s sudden disappearance. Out of the blue, Songhwa comes running at him telling him San passed out. Panicked, Lin runs to her room and slams open the door to find out that San was in the middle of changing her clothes. Both are startled by each other and Lin quickly closes the door. He confronts Songhwa about it, but she teases him for it. Later San and Lin finally confess to each other and share their first kiss.
*
Upon his return, Won is furious to learn that Jeon tried to brute force his way into a marriage with San and breathes a sigh of relief when he learns that both parties didn’t go through with it. Dan still worries for San, but Won tells her not to worry as the emperor plans to ban marriage between extended family members soon. He also tells her that while their marriage is safe, he too will need to marry someone not in the extended family member. Dan says that’s ok, but worries for Lin and she knows Lin and San have feelings for one another.
Shocked by the news he goes to the king and promises him that he’ll take in two wives of his choice and also promises that he’ll protect Moobi from his mother. He also explicitly mentions San, and the enormous amount of wealth she has, and the potential problem her marriage could have for the royal family. The king agrees to reinforce the ruling immediately and Won rides off to meet San.
At San’s estate, Won sees San and Lin being intimate with one another, as they discuss how to protect the fortune amassed by San’s father, and is overwhelmed with jealousy. After Lin leaves, Won seeks a private audience with San and essentially forces her to accept an offer. That in exchange for protection and financial stability/security for her and her people, Won asks that she holds off on marriage.
Riding back to the royal palace, Won thinks about Lin. Won feels betrayed by Lin. Not only did he love a woman more than the prince himself, but he also loved the same woman as the prince. However, he is unable to bring himself to hate Lin either. Instead he begins to become more and more thirstier for San and Rin’s absolute loyalty and love.

Book Summary 3
15. Desertion
(both San and Lin have been missing for 4 months)
Won now has five wives, but only spends time with the lowest ranked, Jobi. He even goes out of the way to renovate Jobi’s quarter. Not understanding why this was the case, Dan interrogates one of Jobi’s guards and learns that Won has never spent any quality time with Jobi. The guard confesses that Jobi was just a cover up and that Won had actually housed San there since the day she’s gone missing. The guard, who was in love with Dan, could feel her anguish and curses San, hoping she would just disappear from Goryeo.
Won promises that if she’s patience, he’ll allow her to meet her servants and Lin. Believing his promise, San continues to wait for months on end. San being quarantined inside her room is only given permission to leave to take a shower. Won continues to visit her whenever he can, but leaves when San brings up Lin or Songhwa. One day, when San asks him, once again, if she could leave, Won asks if he wasn’t enough for her. San in tears confesses that she loves Lin and that they have already slept together. Furious at her and Lin, Won reveals that he had Lin killed. San snaps. She grabs the ornamental dagger (Won’s gift to her years ago) from under her robes, slashing him across his hand. She begins addressing him formally and threatens to commit suicide. Won begs her to stop and admits that Lin was still alive although sold overseas as a slave.
Outside the palace walls, San’s friends are planning to rescue her. Biyeon, regains her ability to speak, volunteers to swap places with her in the shower, and burn the place to the ground so that not even Won will be able to identify her corpse. They carry out the plan, but San refuses to leave Biyeon behind. The guard that looked after her in Jobi’s quarters walks in and helps them escape from the palace and even gets them a boat to leave Goryeo. Won learns about his betrayal and decides to punish him by forbidding him from meeting Dan ever again.

The emperor knowing Becky has feelings for Lin agrees. He then talks to Lin in private and gives him an offer. Wuzong will grant Lin one wish if he is able to aid him in his war and also kill Won if he plans a coup.
(another 4 year time jump, San is in her 30s now)
San, dressed up as a man once again, has dedicated the past few years looking for Lin. She’s been going through the Taklamakan desert heading towards Samarkand when she finds an oasis in the middle of the desert. There she finds a small town where she learns that Won is in Daedo and decides to head back, knowing that Lin will show up wherever Won is.
17. Secret Plans

San returns to Daedo and helps Songhwa, and the others, with the inn and its operation, including a play. Once there, she learns that one of Won’s men has betrayed him. She begins writing him letters to warn him of the betrayal.
18. Intersection
One day, one of the actors hurt their leg and San is forced to fill in for her. On the same day, she gets news that Won was coming in to see the play. San makes the most out of the situation by plotting to hand the letter, warning him of a traitor, in person. After putting on very thick stage make-up, San finds a girl named Becky hiding behind the stage. Becky mentions that she needs to stay here in order to see whether or not her lover will come get her so that she can affirm his love for her. San allows her to hide behind the stage and gets on stage and sees Won. She’s shocked, but confident he’d be unable to recognize her under all the make-up finishes the performance. Afterwards, she comes backstage to see that a much more grizzled Lin was leaving with Becky. Thinking that Lin had found a new lover, San breaks down into tears. Meanwhile, Won who was in the audience wanting to see the performer face to face comes to the backstage and finds San. Hearing her cry out for Lin, he sends his guards after him immediately and tries to comfort San. San hands him the letter and he’s surprised to learn that the anonymous letters warning him of a traitor have been coming from her. She tells Won that she still considers him her friend and tells him that she still very much loves him. San reaches out and embraces him when two masked figures come and take San away.
19. Premarital
Dan finds out about San and Won’s meeting from a letter written to her by Songhwa. Overcomed once again by jealousy, Dan asks Songin to get rid of San. He then goes out and kidnaps San, and tells her how he was the one responsible for her father's death.
20. Wrapping Up
Becky wanders into a tent and finds San all tied up. San reveals herself to be the performer who helped her hide. Remembering how kind San was to her, Becky begins to untie her. However, once San asks her where Lin is, Becky stops and ties her back up and leave.
Emperor Wuzong reveals that he knew Won betrayed him a long time ago as Songin has been regularly sending him letters of Won’s activities for the past ten years--ever since Won was exiled from Goryeo. But that he will not punish him this time as Lin used his wish to forgive Won.
Becky comes back for San and takes her by horse to somewhere far. She cuts San loose and apologizes for her prior behavior. Lin shows up and the two embrace each other. Soon Won shows up too and three take a moment to reconcile with each other. They realize that even after all these years their friendship and the love they have for one another remains. Won then allows Lin and San to leave and returns back to Daedo.
(becky mentions she’s known lin for 8 years)
21. Twilight
(30 year jump in time)
Won, now an old man exiled from Goryeo, was out for a walk when he runs into a boy, 15 years old. They talk for a while and as the boy begins to describe his life back home and tells Won that his parents sent him out to deliver something to a dear old friend of theirs. As they talk more and more Won slowly comes to the realization that he is talking to San and Lin’s son. He then asks the boy for the gift and upon opening it sees a drawing of two boys and a girl, it was the painting he gifted San back when they were still just teens.
Honestly, I loved it, but I'm still meh with the last 4 episodes. I'm happy that RinSan ended up together, but I am slightly disappointed at the writing. I wish the writer made it clearer RinSan were the OTP because some people don't seem to have caught on the (obvious, to me) hints and also added more romantic scenes between the two. I'm not as satisfied as I want to be as a RinSan shipper; THEY SHOULD'VE KISSED MORE. And there was a bed scene between RinSan in the book that didn't play out in the live action

So yeah. Writing was messy for the last 4 episodes, seemed rushed. The ending was O.K, just could've been better. But overall, it's definitely one of the better pre-produced dramas Korea has made. Plus, I LOVED WONSANRIN.
I would give it 8/10. I loved this drama more than THE K2, maybe because I felt the chemistry between Yoona x Hong Jonghyun but I didn't feel the chemistry much with Yoona x Ji Changwook.
RinSan were the final couple. They always were. In the book and in the drama. Also the only person San kissed was Rin - so that should've made it clearer for you ^^
It was so obvious to me that RinSan were going to be together, the writer made it clear time after time. I don't understand why people were even confused. Won didn't feel like a second lead character at all. He was always the center of attention throughout the whole drama - with all the plots to dethrone him and such.
I agree mostly with what you said although I also saw the chemistry between YoonA & Ji Chang Wook in The K2.
But the chemistry between YoonA & Hong Jong Hyun totally took me by surprise! Their emotional acting was on point, gosh I can't even. It was very poignant, their gazes, the hand-holding, and their hug in last episode I could feel my heart breaking!
As for your last comments, it was also obvious to me that RinSan were going to happen, but I think that fans of Im Siwan probably thought he would get the girl in the end because of many factors including the promo posters (although San didn't really smile in them). I also thought WonSan at first before the drama aired because of what Siwan said, but then I change my mind completely to RinSan when it aired and I just let it flow. Also, in some sites, I have seen many who just disregarded all the signs that RinSan would be the endgame just because they couldn't believe Siwan/Won would not get San. Now that I think about it, I sincerely think that the romance wasn't even the focus of the story, more like on the friendship of the trio. Yes, San loves Rin but it doesn't mean she hates Won. She also like him. And it's the same for Rin. It's like they never planned to love each other but then it happened and they didn't want to hurt their dear friend Won. Just my 2 cent, I could be wrong.
Won was definitely a corner stone and main character. Everything was about him. And I even thing that his mother was a lead, bwahahaha! But actually there were 3 leads just like in the novels but when they made the promotion (if we can call it that, because it was so little) I thought that it was weird that HJH didn't get a separate poster with San. Maybe this in why some feels that it should have been just the story of Won (it was). But without Rin, how do explain the relationship of WonSanRin?? Anyways. I feel that with this ending, we can see Won has grown. He accepted his friends' feeling for each other, let Rin & San have their moments without interrupting them and they bid him farewell as they were able to make him King. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
P.S. Of course, I also wish there were more kiss/bed scenes between RinSan but, I guess this drama is more like the Faith drama!
P.S.S. I wanted to just write one line and then it became paragraph, sorry!

I agree with everything you said! I too, want to see Won showing his dark side because I think that will be interesting to see.
Though this drama has a lot of flaws, I am still going to watch it until the end.
Previews have always been misleading. My predictions so far are only half correct. But I just can't drop this drama right now. Every week I wait until Monday comes haha I am so pathetic. This drama made me love Monday!
Also, I can't help but waiting for Rin to come out on screen. He is just so gorgeous in his sageuk clothing. I just like to look at him. Please excuse my shallowness.
Me too, I will watch until the end. Without me knowing I got hooked and I love Mondays because of that as well

I'm putting them under a spoiler just in case

Park Hwan Hee and Siwan's last filming
Oh, I see!! Interesting... Thank you, chinggu!
Thanks as well for the translation of the preview episodes.
Hi, where can I watch the international version... I've been watching the drama on Kissassian. Thanks
Generally, if you watch the as whole episode (1-20) and not the 2-parts episodes (which will generate 40 episodes), chances are you are watching the international version.
You can watch both versions on sites like [email protected]

EDIT: You can also find the International version of [email protected]

I just don't want a copout ending in which we never learn who she loves romantically. There are spoiler bts pics circulating before the drama even started but I'm still scared they're gonna pull some bs, especially the MBC version.
Which ones are you referring to? You mean like the Poster of San & Won?

They better not make Rin as the bad person in this drama. He has been consistent since day one and to see the way he reacted this week was painful for me. If this is the plot twist then they better pull it off and not sacrificing Rin so that Won can end up with San. I would hate this drama FOREVER if this happened. I don't care about the ship wars now (though I used to ship RinSan), as I truly can't see why San deserves to be with Won or Rin and vice versa. I hope that after the kiss, San is able to decide who she wants to be with and stick to her decision. Being so ambiguous is very annoying to us viewers. Nobody likes to be trolled for so long. We only have four episodes left. Four hours to untangle this mess.
The political aspect of this drama to me, is kinda laughable. It's like nobody actually used their brain and they were so quick to judge. With the exception of Master Lee, of course. He deserves to be king hahaha.....so wise and mature, with lots of useful resources aka his loyal students. Too bad he wasn't a royal.
I understand what you mean about Rin, it would be very anti-climatic if he suddenly turned really bad, like that is sooooo not the Rin we've seen so far! Especially since I have anticipating to see the dark side of the Crown Prince... This is why I think that Rin is playing along? or want Won to believe he will go against him? I don't know, we shall see!
About being trolled with who ends up with whom, I can understand if the writer wanted to make an adaptation of the books and not just write the same story but at least in the books, after awhile, there is no ambiguity about who San loves as lover and whom she loves as a friend... But I can't really put all the blame on the writer for this -- MBC cutting or misplacing (only in the Korean Version) some important scenes that are clues into the plot or San's heart is not how I envisioned the drama going, tbh. I mean there are only a few episodes left and viewers are still confused about who San likes, yikes :/ As some people said on twitter, it's like Reply Goryeo!
But, but, but I am still very invested in the story and drama and I can't wait to see what the plot twist at the end is!!

Kinda hoping for rin to pull off a double agent thing where he appears to be working with song in and gang but eventually turns out he's helping won secretly.
This is what I think will happen. Prepare yourselves to see Rin act like a traitor to Won, but in the end I am convince it will be a ploy to help Won in the end

Thank you!! Not long now till the new ep is out

Episode are out! OMG, RinSan kissed!!! And Rin did it on purpose when he saw Won watching them. Can I say drama LOL.
Btw, the Intl version is definitely better to watch. The kiss scene & the scene where San is watching Rin while sleeping in the woods are shot differently. The intl version is much more smooth, especially the kiss scene is shot more...beautifully? It also make the drama seems less choppy. Also less cut scenes which enable to viewer to understand the plot. Idk how to say but those who watched both will understand
Another thing that I noticed is how people around WonSanRin seem to be pushing for RinSan to happen but only we don't know San's feeling for sure yet LOLEdit: how do you add spoilers tags here?

Hi guys,
I'm new here and I've not posted here before but I'm watching the drama for Yoona, and it has become on of my favourite dramas! I'm all for Rin and San, sorry Won. Can't wait for the next episodes!

Welcome to the thread!! Glad you enjoy the drama as well

I am also Team RinSan but I have to say that I did not expect that until the Press Conference and until I saw how much chemistry there was between YoonA & Hong JungHyun. Their eyes and the careful restrain in their body language speaks volumes. And then when they touch, OMG, fire!!

But, Won is really feeling lonely so I hope he can somehow be happy with his future wives, Dan included.

I think it's still early to raise the white flag for Wonsan ship. If we are to compare the scenes of RS to WS, just like what i said, yes RS is heart fluttering. But it just doesnt feel right for me. WS on the other hand is too deep. Sacrifices and all that.I know we see things in a different perspective. I guess its best to wait for the story to progress. But i dont know, it feels odd. I hope SJN doesnt give us an open ending.
Meh, I think that RinSan is deep too. Rin also sacrifices a lot. And if I understand the preview for next week correctly, he will sacrifice himself for his family and/or San. For me, San looks at Won like a bestfriend & pity for his situation with his parents whereas with Rin, I feel more love there. But Rin & San will get separated next week, so that will leave more scenes for WonSan. But as you said it is best to wait and see

RinSan! Take all my feelssssssss

After Goblin, I struggled to get hooked on a drama, but thank goodness for this drama!!! Seriously impressed with the acting, the plot, the production, the directing...amazing drama I must say

-
Ok it's official. This is my Mon and Tues drama to watch. I never thought it will be this good. The story, the cinematography and the directing is perfect. I am invested in the story and i am starting to impatiently wait for the next episode.
I am officially shipping Rin and San. I think they have really good chemistry when they are together. Won is kinda is scaring me how dark he is turning this past two episodes. He is starting to be obsessive and that birdcage comment he made made me raise my eyebrows. Can't wait for next week.
Same here! The drama is awesome and well-made/well-written. Also the plot and the acting has me hooked!
-
The K2 official facebook account has stopped updating already.
Even though the chance is small, i still hope for it

Oh, no! I need the BTS of ep. 16!!
I guess maybe it was too hot to be aired?

-
The last time I asked Korean drama enthusiasts what kind of costume I could expect for Yoona, they told me to google Queen Noguk (~1350s).

Usually you can guess how good the quality of the costume and set will be based on the production company, but since U-Story 9 is new, it's kind of hard to tell. They'll have Tencent money though so I'm hoping for the best.
Me too, me too.

me too!I think it's making all of us a bit crazy, we've gotten to
page 16LMAO PAGE 17 actually without a full cast
Apparently filming will start in December.
Haha, so true! Full cast has yet to be confirmed and we are all lurking here, huhu!
Oh, really in December?? YESSSSSSS! I thought I would have for late January 2017, hahahahaha!!

The anticipation for TKL is beginning to make me a bit crazy haha

Can't wait to know the full cast and when are they gonna start filming anyway?

I first saw people/cassies complain about TY being featured in Yunho's song so I had delayed listening to it (also I was busy lol) BUT.... after hearing the song, I'm like this song is actually perfect BECAUSE of his rap. It was a slow melody and then boom rap part just blew me away. And it's just as Yunho said, TY changed the whole dynamic of the song and I understand why he would have wanted to add him in the song (great decision there on his part).

The fact that Yunho, one of the biggest sunbbaenim active right now wants Taeyong, basically a rookie, to feature in HIS song, tells you how much confidence he has in his talent and how much he wants to showcase it.
I personally want to think him for that. Can you imagine that in the future, TY would feature in many artists songs as well? I can't wait for that and I know he is going to kill it! (haters stay mad and press, while he gets his job done and gets more famous) One thing that is still underrated when talking about TY is that his voice is so colorful. What I mean by that is that he can change his tone and rapping voice as if it's nothing. A very talented man for sure. And when there's talent, success will follow.
My favorite non-NCT features of TY in songs are: City Lights, Why don't you know, and Be Natural (yes, I had no choice but to include the infamous Booming system uh-uh TY Track TY Track). Special mention for: Can't help myself by Eric Nam. Taeyong's voice gelled so well with Eric's.
