Split the price is the obvious thing to do. Just as an idea, maybe it helps u: My sis and I share the expenses of the house, what we do is create a "home fund" that we fill with 200€ each of us every month (a part from rent). We only use that money for food and daily necessities, so we don't have to split each shopping. And if there is money left at the end of the month, PIZZA AND BEERS!

That's a really good idea, thanks!

If it's stuff you share then you could just pay half each, if it's individual stuff then it's best to calculate and pay each other back

It's usually both. I usually deduct our individual items from the lot before dividing the price.

Maybe she feels weird about the implication that you don't trust her to split the cost fairly?

Maybe you tend to buy different brands and she's balking at paying for your luxury choices in paper towels? lol

idk. I don't think you're in the wrong at all. I'm just trying to imagine why she's reluctant.

But that's the thing, she isn't used to the action of splitting the cost in her family so she rarely does. She says as we live together there's no need to calculate every time, as long as we go in turn it's normal to bring home products for the house. And no, we're both students so we usually buy relatively cheap stuff. I'm glad you think I'm not wrong because like you, I don't understand why it bothers her. I'm always the one who do the math anyway? And I prefer to do it because when she owes me money, she tends to think when she pays our collective shopping and the cost amounts to her debt, it's cleared up, when no, she could only repay me if it's only what I should have paid, aka the half of it. Sighs.

    Thanks for all your answers

  2. I live together with my friend, like best friend (but we're not like absolutely super close either), and sometimes you gotta shop for basic necessities, right?  Since we go in turn, one pays alone for that errand and as the overall price differs each time, I thought it was normal to split the price in two and calculate how much one of us owes the other every time?

But my friend seems reluctant to do that? She actually told me it seemed extreme before, and while I agree a bit, I don't want to spend more money than I should? Is that weird? Like, what's so bad about splitting the money perfectly, it's just fair to me? It's not like it's an annoying task either (calculating I mean), it takes me about 2 min.

For more context, it's not even like we're gonna live together for a longtime (because if it was the case I think I would try harder to be more flexible), it's just for six months.

  3. I like the overall video, the song could have been way better without autotune, but that's not news. (I really, really don't get their constant use of autotune. What exactly is the point? In a song like black swan, I could understand the logic but elsewhere? The whole album is autotuned like persona save a for a few songs, and it's so unnecessary, I just don't get the reasoning behind the use of it and it makes me sad lmao.) I'll enjoy it when it's when it's performed, as always. Might as well stop hoping it goes away and not get my hopes up in the future.

Hoseok's part is definitely my fave (those moves, that flow) and Jungkook, I don't need to say anything. He snapped.

  4. Wow the backlash of popularity is so scary. All my life, I've never sported interest in one direction, and the constant "kpop is x1000 better" actually got to my head without realizing. I watched a lot of concerts from western artists today, including 1D, and I truly don't know how their reputation came to become that bad. They clearly can sing, and they perform really well. Their songs may not be my type at all but I can recognize greatness when I see it.

    Popularity is scary.

  5. So I was fully contented with the live performances of boy with luv and I came to like the song so much I forgot what the original audio sounded like (fortunately), but recently I picked up superstar bts so ofc I had to listen to it, and it strengthened my belief that that one bighit producer needs to get talked some sense into. What the fuck is wrong with the voice manipulation? They sound like robots.

Other songs in their albums are fine so why is their title tracks always handed like this for some time now? What is the goal? How did someone thought it was oay? And is bts fine with this because huh??

  6. Also, it's a small detail but I love how he enunciates lol he's not fluent in English but the clarity of his words is something else. You know, I've often read from k-fans that jk's intonation is very good when bts does those little acting skits, it's one of the reasons why a lot of them want to see him act. It's interesting that this is also true for him when he speaks in another language.

Yees, when he puts in attention to speak and fully takes on the seoul dialect, I remember having seen k-armys praise his pronunciation a lot. Like, the mnet cb spoiler for example:

As for english, he actually uploaded the paper hearts and fools covers sometimes after I started stanning bts, and I remember being shocked when I learned he wasn't fluent or remotely good at english, because his pronuncation was so good. I thought it was so unfair lol.
