So I was just scrolling through the comment section on Yahoo news about TWICE, it's very toxic but they're trending #3 and got the most comment. Google translate did a good job in helping me understand most of the comments. A lot of them seems to be pissed at the mention of TWICE beating Piki Taro in youtube views. Then a lot of them are too patriotic and want all "South Korea's garbage" to be ban. Then I come across a positive comment that suggested TWICE to collaborate with Piki Taro to make TTAP. Over all, I think it's a good thing that people are talking about it. That's before TWICE even debut in Japan. ONCE people know about them, perhaps the comments would become more positive.

Finally, someone who remember Wonder Girls disbandment. It could indeed be out of courtesy to Wonder Girls since they will be releasing their final song on 10 Feb 2017.

I think this means they will give the Pop Song Of The Year to TWICE instead of Song Of The Year. It's either a goodbye gift for Wonder Girls, or a recognition award for Bolbbalgan4. However, the Rookie Of The Year & Pop Song Of The Year is quite secured.

Their Pocari Sweat deal probably have more than just pictures, we're probably only going to see more of it during their next promotion cycle (which isn't very long). Big brands most likely want to be in action when it's striking hot, not when it's lukewarm.

Erm, quite frankly I don't even want to repeat it or harp on it. It was initially just basic information that I was passing on here until some outrightly rejecting something factual with theories.

I don't need to specialized in Law, all I need is to take an interest to politics and some of the necessary laws. If I do business in South Korea, I can't just use "I didn't know" as a defense when I commit a crime albeit unknowingly. I can plead guilty and ask for leniency. Next, law isn't meant to protect people, it is meant to keep order. If they were meant to protect people, lawsuits wouldn't cost that much. Police are law enforcers, but a lot of the times, the police can do nothing in the face of a criminal due to laws. I am not about to debate on this in a Kpop forum. JYPE can't do it because antigraft law restrict it. But sure, we can pretend we don't know. You're reaching conclusions on your own without empirical data. Claiming all parents want to show support that's why they are buying. Refusing to believe in something that's very obvious, that it is simply against the law now. No idea why you're getting aggressive all of a sudden over something factual. Antigraft law is in place September last year, period. It's not base on my theories that we should suddenly be worried when we see members' parents that antigraft officers would show up. It is simply that JYPE probably wouldn't want to go through this kind of government red tapes. What make sense and what makes reality are 2 different thing. Again, I won't debate on this subject. Like what you say, antigraft is nothing new. When there is a clear law that forbid gifts up to US$45, it's forbidden. In order to make something forbidden become forgiven, you got to go through a series of explanations (red tapes).

Yea, but different countries have different law. For example in Singapore, gifts are non-taxable. That's why we don't have to declare how much red packet money we receive or we give out during Lunar New Year. South Korea used to have similar policy until September last year. They now have a stringent antigraft policy. It is restricted to US$45 only.

TWICE family are buying the tickets the same way as us fans. I saw from PTT that Tzuyu's mum wasn't able to get the ticket. During V Live, Nayeon's mum also ask about ticketing information. The antigraft law was recently introduce and most corporate organizations are adjusting to it. It make sense for them to not test the water. Individually, you can pay and go to a concert and perhaps the cost of the ticket can be shared between you and agency. However, there is the $45 limit for gifs and it does extend to employees as well. It's not that JYPE has no way to get family members tickets, it's that the girls probably don't want to ask the management for it. JYPE might be willing to declare it and go through the government red tapes of seeking permission. It's just a hassle.
