Cause there has never been discrimination based on culture cause everyone shares the same culture so obviously they'll only see the positive aspect that comes with it meanwhile those who live in western countries (like me) have to juggle the good and the bad depending on which side you've experienced more of.

All in all, communication is key. There needs to be a mutual understanding between those who live in the countries of their culture and those who don't.  

I agree with you except of the bolded part, many people get discriminated for their culture in their own country even if they are the majority like for example people in higher social-economical status discriminate over poor people, sometimes it goes beyond that, and the government and religious institutions track down certain cultural aspects to shut them down

CA is a very complicated subject that will be seen differently depending where and how you grew up.

When you grew up in America and you are mocked, bully or made fun because of your culture, it is normal for people to defend it way more, the perfect example is fashion, if you grew up in a certain place and you dress up a certain way and people call you ghetto and keep demonizing you for the way you dress, while at the same time someone from a different group dresses exactly like you do but that person is not called "ghetto" but "fashionable", you will become a lot more defensive of your culture.

On the other hand if you grow up in a poor contry with a lot of problems and even the media in your own country is "westernize", you will like when you see people from other countries enjoying your food, music, clothes, etc. you feel a little better about yourself, this enters in direct conflict with people above, that's why you see many fights among Mexicans vs Mexican-Americans, Asians vs Asian-Americans, African-Americans vs black people from other countries, fighting over if it's OK for other people to use their culture

Can't wait for them to change it to "Kpop Killer Kings" and they will start abreviating with KKK

Gerry Conway has criticized manga and called it sexist, pederastic, and misogynistic 

Normally people don't care for this type of opinions but Gerry is a very well known comic artist, he created Power Girl, Vixen, and The Punisher, and this seems to light up the "hate" comic and manga fans have among themselves. There are a lot opinions of his comments:

- He is just mad Mangas are out selling Comics even in the US

- He is a hypocrite since he was one of the men who contributed the most for female sexualization in comics

- He doesn't understand the Manga industry and is out of touch

As much as a lot of people hate to admit it but we need to normies to fill in the concerts or events, there are more people in an event or concert that know BTS because they heards Dynamite on the radio while going to school than the ones that know why Coolio took the boys hostage

That's the reason many groups (especially from the 2nd and 3rd generation) didn't really took of in the west dispite trying, it means nothing if you are known to every single KPOP fan but not crowd (at least outside of Asia)

I always had a theory that JYP "sabotage" TWICE out of fear that if one of the girls became insanely popular and got in trouble the group would die.

I know it sounds weird, but hear me out, the first years of TWICE Tzuyu was THE girl, she was the visual maknae that was the most popular since Sixteen (I would even say that KPOP in general), kinda like Suzy, but the difference is that she had insane international appeal, I think that up to this date she's still overall the most popular member internationally speaking, I remember that she used to get CFs (Not only in Korea but also in other countries), programs, she used to get way more solo youtube videos compared to the other girls, more interviews, even the other girls would say she was the most popular member.

So What happened? Why did JYP stopped doing all of that and kept pushing Tzuyu a little to the side and started focusing more in the other girls? The Taiwan-China flag controversy, ever since that thing happened I barely saw Tzuyu alone doing stuff on her own, and JYP started focusing on the other members more.

That's why in my opinion we didn't see solos or sub-units, they were afraid that one member would become way more popular and something bad would happen that would ruin the group.

IIRC it was actually later on agreed upon, and the Josh who sent the Facebook message in the first place lost in the Rock-Paper-Scissors part of the event

Hundreds of men named Josh gathered with pool noodles, the even was also used to help donate 300 pounds of food for the Food Bank and 8,000 dlls for a children's hospital

The winner is a 5 year old kid now known as Little Josh
