Woow what a surprise release!!!! We definitely have been getting consistent provision of Mamamoo songs!! And I'm soooo here for this "Jazz Hip Hop" song concept!!!

Not worried either! Though for some reason, now I don't think we're getting a full album..

Speaking of Moonstar's rap, I love love her spin on Double Trouble Couple (which by the way I love this song a lot especially when the beat turns into this filtered hiphop beat when they go "Sweet trouble.."). The way she rides the beat with her intonations. Voice + Flow! And I recently noticed she's probably the most versatile rapper in kpop right now. Her rap is dynamic and never expected! I like the fact that she felt free to express so much in that video. By that I mean, the company seems to allow for the members to express themselves freely and that's very transparent. And it's in KDH and RBW's best interest to pay attention as well. The members need to all feel as though they are fully part of the group. And clearly the more present Moonbyul is in the song, the better it is. Think "1cm (Taller Than You)", or "Piano Man", or "Um Oh Ah Yeah". I do think they may have a discussion about it and work accordingly. And yes, I WANT more Moonbyul in their next work!!!

It's definitely difficult to wait for their comeback! However, I'm not in a hurry to get new music because I want to make sure they take the time necessary to craft a quality body of work! And in that regard, Memory was kind of all over the place, in my opinion. Also, it's easy for groups to make back to back comebacks when they have teams of people writing their songs. And I certainly would rather have the girls come up with their own song concepts, lyrics, sounds and whatnot. And that definitely takes time even when they are constantly recording. That's actually how I get to be so patient (when I'm actually not, in reality), listening to the few new songs we've already had this year starring the girls: "Honey Bee", "Happy People", "Love", "I Am Me", "Double Trouble Couple", "Anymore". So on average 1.5 new song per month lol. That said, there was 9 months between the releases of Melting and Memory, so I'll probably run out of sane patience after August...

Such a good episode!! Definitely one of my favorites! And yep, I want KDH to make that song too lol

Yeah it's good to be reminded about that early in the day lol Also, MMM Trans is rising like a phoenix again!! Y'all go subscribe to MMM Trans 3!!

We gotta give it up for eSNa!! She's been so instrumental (quite literally) in helping paint the colors of Mamamoo's music. Her work on "Don't Be Happy", "Peppermint Chocolate", "Hello", "Heeheehaheho", "Piano Man", "Gentleman", "Aah Oop", "Words Don't Come Easy" can't go unnoticed! So a new collaboration is very exciting to me!! Come through eSNa!!

The fact that Moonbyul's fav is Big Sean, listens to Wale and recommends a song of his (that I didn't even know of).... Dang these girls really like hip-hop!! I like this... a lot!!
