Stanned since right before the Um Oh Ah Yeh era! Looking up Kim Eana (my favorite Korean lyricist) song credits back in late May 2015. Found Peppermint Chocolate and Piano Man (which my top 5 favorite Korean composer at the time, Kim Do-Hoon, composed). Loved it! Honestly Hwasa was very intriguing: "How the hell did they find this girl?!" I thought. Piano Man performance of 20151205 Music Bank made me an instant fan (and I had never been a fan of any Kpop artist/group even though I had listened to Kpop since 2009). IS2 performance of "Passion Flower" sucked my soul into the radish farm. That whole time I kept thinking, "Who the hell are these girls?", "How did I not hear about them before?!!". And then their overall discography and talent sealed the deal! I remember being slayed by the bluesy intro song "Hello" and the urban bop "Freaking Shoe" and the fact that I liked their voices so much and every song they put out! Just music crafted for me!! Discovering their live performances was a true Um Oh AH Yeh experience!! They are now such a part of my daily life that I wonder what was life before Mamamoo! Especially for a music lover like me. It's hard to pick one favorite honestly but this is my top 12 most listened tracks...

Psy's New Face fitted perfectly too!! Has viral potential.. Well 1thek has over twice the amount of subscribers than cjnm so I'm not mad at that. That said RBW has partnered with cjnm for distributing all their albums since "Hello". Quite the bummer for cjnm I would assume :/

Of course, we definitely always want more songs from the girls. However we've had MMO tracks consistently every month since January, plus there will be the new arrangement to their IS2 cover, which sort of counts as a new (live) song also. Who knows, they might as well also release another CF song afterwards like they did with "Woo Hoo". Also, technically we haven't heard "AZEGAG" in full (although I've already listened to it prolly more than 50 times). And finally, I like to believe that the title track will be so amazing that we won't even feel like "Purple" need have any more tracks..

Hmm, interesting points of views about "streaming" videos!! Personally, I don't preach the streaming of videos at all. However, I do pay attention to the views. And whichever way it is achieved (whether via people streaming like crazy or just more people sharing the video), the amount of views on YouTube is pretty important once you go outside of the Korean realm. There's no denying that MMM has already reached stellar recognition and success in South Korea (there are several videos of them in Korean with millions of views that sometimes last even less than 90 seconds lol). My personal motive for taking notes of view counts is just the fact that I really really want them to gain much greater International recognition and love. I do periodically check for views on random video just to assess how much MMM is growing in terms of recognition, fandom and appreciation. One way to achieve that is to increase the engagement metric of their videos which then make them more likely to be suggested to new users. The most straightforward way for us to do that is by watching (for ourselves, not necessarily "streaming" although it helps quite directly), commenting, liking, reacting and whatnot. Not to be obsessed with it but a relatively increasing Youtube view count is sign of a healthy fandom growth, internationally. Which would then open doors for more opportunities overseas and ways to scale the MMM brand. But that's sort of way down the line. I do know that it takes time for a smaller company group to reach such exposure. Plus MMM is definitely in it for the longevity so I'm not too worried though

Luv it luv it!!! Whether they're rapping or singing, Mamamoo IS all the way a vocal group. Their voices are everything!! Always glad to see Moonbyul getting more recognition for her tone.

Obviously beyond excited for this comeback (knowing that their comeback single has already been crafted and is sitting somewhere in the confines of RBW..)!! June coulnd't be better for a mini-album!! I'm expecting a single mid-year slayage in the summer, a slew of IS2 performances towards the end of the year (probably one before this upcoming comeback and one in the fall) and a second full album domination around February/March of 2018!!

Great song!!!! Hwasa's voice does stuff to me, I can't even.. Their voices match really well. (Maybe a little too much actually. Needs a bit of contrast imo..) They definitely exaggerated the description of the song though lol. I don't hear the jazz hip hop. It's more breezy and funky.
