  1. Did MMM just rebrand themselves as self-proclaimed Performing Artists and no longer idols??? I'm #ded
  2. 2018 is the start???? Suddenly I think we are so not ready for this next comeback!!!
  3. Pretty awesome!! Apparently it's the first time they cover a kpop song! Happy 2000th!!
  4. They really do! Their voices really are special too. Without even talking about singing techniques and whatnot, they really serve quality, smoothness, emotion, power, soul with their (speaking) voices! Seeing those other singers attempt it, even Spica's Jiwon, really shows the difference.
  5. Sorry, I accidently negged you. :(( I alsoo find myself discovering songs I used to love that are made by KDH nim!! PS: "Some" may be one of the best kpop songs I ever heard. The melody is fantastic!!
  6. They could drop a Christmassy pre-release song from the full album if the latter's released in January. I can see an official version of 'Sleep In The Car' as a pre-release as well, sort of like 'I Miss You'/'1cm' or 'Angel'/'Dab Dab'.
  7. Selling us soooo much dream!!! Yass!! Can't wait to see dem photos!!
  8. I feel like JYP might be joining the radish field..
  9. Fun fact, 'You're The Best' has passed 'Um Oh Ah Yeh' and is now Mamamoo's most viewed video on Youtube. 'Decalcomanie' is coming for both songs' wigs though
  10. Wait a second...if that's true, how are we supposed to play it though?? lol
  11. I think Decalcomanie is a good example!! Sounded like nothing out when released yet was unique enough and still within Mamamoo's style (with enough pop/safe influences). I wish they'd one day go totally against pop/kpop expectations and become more experimental but that's not at all anytime soon.
  12. So spot on!!! And these portraits do her so much justice. I really wonder who drew this! Impressive!!
  13. Very insightful!!! I wonder who released this video. You can tell this is an unfinished version of "Yes I Am": Moonbyul's backing vocals are missing (like on "chwihyanginikka yeminhajima"), in the bridge Wheein says "aju geonbangjyeo" instead of "aju sikeuhae", her "jyae jyae jyae" ad-lib is not there yet and as a matter of fact it sounds like it's looping the first chorus after the bridge so we hear Hwasa's "naro malhal geot" when the bridge ends. And so naturally no last chorus ad-libs. Yep definitely not Mamamoo dancing. And although that choreo is cool, I don't like how they're performing it to be honest lol. They are definitely well synchronized but their moves aren't quite smooth looking in my opinion (like Mamamoo looks and performs it so much better despite the choreo edits).
  14. LMAOO!!! I love them but like you gotta draw the line somewhere!! xD
  15. "La vie est courte, l'art est long" is definitely grammatically correct. It's the French translation to a quote by the "Father of Western Medicine" and Greek physicist Hippocrates which the Hippocratic Oath is still taken by physicists today in order to practice.
  16. Looks like Mamamoo won their round against GFriend already. But in that RED pool there's a Beyonce/Rihanna....#mess Someome needs to ping Hwasa if it's ever Mamamoo vs Rihanna...
  17. I so wish! Never been to any!!!! Unfortunately I'm not one of the lucky Busan concert attendees :((
  18. Yes yes!! It's actually very fitting that we were talking about Kim Do-Hoon earlier... 4cnmoo8, wow I didn't notice that about you. But just like you before Mamamoo existed, my most favorite kpop group was CNBLUE (out of all the K-pop I was listening to and loved from 2009 onward). And just because I really liked their music and genre, this sort of urban infused pop/rock as well as their carefully crafted melodies (although unlike with Mamamoo, I was far from being a stan and did not follow them that much at all). The interesting thing about that is the fact that CNBLUE's sound and their 4 consecutive title songs "I'm a Loner", "Love", "Intuition" and "Hey You" were composed by our very giggling CEO, Kim Do-Hoon!! And if i go back even further, the day I decided to investigate Kpop a bit more, through an online kpop radio, I remember one song that stood out and sparked my interest for the genre and it was "T.T.L (Time To Love)" by T-ara and also composed by Kim Do-Hoon... Could all this be just a coincidence?? I don't think so. And that would explain why I personally am in love with Mamamoo (as far as their discography is concerned). Thinking about it now, from a musical point of view, I genuinely think KDH and I have the same musical tastes (I know it sounds a bit corny). But it's the only way I can explain the fact that his musical diversity in producing rings so close to what I love myself. And that would explain why absolutely no Mamamoo song fails me. Because KDH listened to all of them and helped select/craft them. When I found out that it was the same man all these years who had made the Kpop songs I loved the most, I started to pay attention. Without bringing back the Twitter topic and meltdowns about what he said, I'll just say that the guy helped put together this group that we love as well as creating their musical colors and all that while maintaining such a family environment and father figure to the girls. He clearly loves this group like his baby. They are his babies. So whatever words he used I'm sure his intentions are only the best for them. At this point I'd say my favorite Korean acts are CNBLUE, Mamamoo and KDHnim!
  19. Woow I almost teared up listening to it. What's wrong with me.. And yass #mamamootriplecrown Keep rising MMM!! Soaaaar!!!!
  20. YES YES YES!!!!! I live for this!!!! And seeing them win, seeing them happy makes me so happy!!! I think I haven't yet taken a step back to realize how rainbow like this comeback is at the moment. They've been through a lot, man!
  21. The most viewed is the one on the Mamamoo official Channel. However when I search "Mamamoo Yes I Am" in YT, only the CJEN video pops up, so that's probably a temporary situation. Was hoping for a consolidation of views on their official channel but that might be tough. I think most views there come from suggested videos anyway, so most likely people who are unfamiliar with them land on the official Mamamoo video.
  22. UGHHH "Yes I Am" is soooo good!!!!! Love love this summer bop!! And the message is top-notch!! And that despite the fact that it's clearly their most mainstream title track and I am still in love with it!! Even UOAY was more funky. It's so pop I'm sure Kim Do-Hoon did this on purpose. I think here he deliberately took the risk to alienate those who purely like their retro songs in order to develop their sound and expand their appeal. Just like what happened with UOAY. And we all know where that propelled them to.. That said, we're all aware that they will slay whatever genre and make it their own (the fact that we're not even biased, like that's for real lol)!!! KDH really knows how to muster up their energy and colors. I won't even get started on Aze Gag. Thank you RBW for giving them the freedom to write/co-write their songs!! This comeback is just so glorious!!
  23. Piano Man is always coming back from the dead. It keeps getting the attention it originally deserved honestly. Dang, really?? Haven't followed Allkpop in years. I had no idea! I think it just never happened with their title track MV and I'm here for it!! I'll especially take closer looks at how that affects their subscriber increase!!
