I've introduced myself on the main iKon thread, but let me say hi to everyone here as I'm going to set up camp here in order to absorb all the Bobby goodness. I started to listen to iKon because of Bobby and I'm inclined to think that boy has super powers because he got a music snob like me to give a boy group a chance. I know a good thing when I see it and Bobby is it. This kid has the stage presence and energy of rock Gods I grew up listening to, you know the type that has the whole stadium eating out of his hand just by standing on the stage doing his thing, no frills needed. His lyrics always say something worth listening to and his rap always packs an emotional punch. And he goes so hard (I love that). The fact that he is also a lovely human being is a great bonus, being very easy on the eyes does not hurt either. Bobby is love.

I would take mine if I could, I think live performances are special, and I would love for my daughter to experience this but chances of them coming to the Old Continent are slim to none. Kids soak up stuff like sponges - I'm checking out this Produce 101 version of Rhythm Ta. My daughter comes closer (who does not understand a word of Korean): "I know this song. They are singing it wrong, it does not go like that. I don't like it." There you have it a 9 year old iKon purist and budding music critic.

Hello! We do have a lot of in common, so nice. We are exact opposites in our faves, my daughter loves Hanbin and mommy is all about Bobby. Mommy/daughter iKONIC pairs for the win!

I got a feeling that Interviewer does not perceive him as a rookie or an idol but as an artist. I'm glad he did not hold back and asked relevant questions (instead of fluff) it shows respect for an interviewee.

Absolutely, and I am looking forward to a day when he will be able to do just that. But I find his whole attitude very mature, realistic and measured. Boy is only 19. Mind blown..

This interview was amazing. I found it funny that the interviewer does the same thing I do, forgets that iKon are actually idols and then is surprised when they do idol-like stuff. And regardless of how much I selfishly only want them to do music they want to do regardless of mainstream tastes, Hanbin is smart - build that recognition and fan base and become huge and than do what you like. Kudos to the journalist, this was a good interview with good questions asked.

Thank you all for being so welcoming. Yeah, my daughter likes Ikon and after watching Mari and I she thinks Hanbin walks on water. When we have our "ikon time" dancing around the house my husband suddenly needs to be elsewhere.

After receiving a lovely invitation from gospel church swag hiphop to introduce myself, I’ll do just that. I’ve been lurking for a while but never posting mostly because I am so much older than anyone here so I feel little out of my depth (I’m so old that Masta Wu would have to call me noona if we ever met). Never really liked k-pop, just casually listened to some Big Bang occasionally. One fateful day looking at Epic High video, Bobby caught my eye and ear and I looked into him. That led to watching Win, Mix and Match and SMTM3 and found myself invested (I still think sorcery was somehow involved) and caring about a bunch of boys young enough to be my kids .But they are talented and so god damn likeable that one has to care. Now Ikon is something I enjoy with my 9 year old daughter who thinks they are the best because they have puppies in three of their MVs (she knows what is important). I would like to thank all of you for updating and posting links, news and videos which saves me from searching the Internet. This place is nice and safe, I made a mistake of reading comments on youtube on some of their videos and I am scarred for life.
