I was thinking today how beautiful Gfriend and Twice’s careers became. Both were judge— Gfriend for their songs‘ sound and Twice for their style. It was said Gfriend would never change and was versatile and that Twice would forever stick with their style to not lose popularity. Slowly, both started to shift from the young/cutesy to beautiful elegant girls, exploring new concepts/sounds but never fully go girl crush like it was demanded and all other groups were seeking. Both groups paved their own road and it’s beautiful to see them growing. It also made both capable to explore more and still fit all so well (past, present). Fans of both groups, doesn’t it seem nostalgic now watching the first eras and how they’re now? I always saw them as little sisters (17-19 years old) and now they’re beautiful young ladies Even if the present isn’t as bright as years ago, this growth and long road was worthy ~ Just wanted to post this appreciation post for both groups who were many times harshly judge and yet they still made it in their own way and their own rhythm Have a good day/night, y’all
