I’m still so lost. What now?

Source Music was very focused on them as group. Yes, they didn’t give much freedom to them and everything seemed to be controlled but they had the situation with Glam so it’s understandable why they were like that. They wanted to make sure their only group and successful one wouldn’t mess up. Because even if our girls are nothing like the girl from Glam (idk her name), a small mistake and people would cancel them and be like “oh it’s just like that group Glam, their company is all messed up”. They all wanted more. The fans wanted more. Because as much as your brand name is strong, it being just the group isn’t enough for their individual paths. We thought we had time. They seemed to be getting more freedom since they joined BH later HYBE. We thought with the new gg, the girls would have less pressure and even more freedom and chances for individual activities. We all thought and wished. Sadly, never happened. I could see them it renewing because all of this but like I said, they were getting more freedom and chance to explore since they joined BH.. so I’m not sure what happened or changed. They always said they wanted to continue together for many years .

What upsets me, it’s not just the short notice, no hints given, we didn’t even know they were still discussing and the schedules meant anything... What upsets me the most is how those 6 girls worked so hard, they were bullied for years without the company protection, they worked even when they were sick and barely could do it to save that company and bring in $$, they had literally no options of much freedom for years just for Source Music out of nowhere release a statement of like “Yeah, they are leaving. Thanks for everything, support them in the future. Bye.” They better give us something May 22nd or they aren’t only disrespectful to the fans but also ungrateful. Even if they went part ways in bad terms, give something for all they went through.

I literally mentioned this to my friends. I thought I was the only one who noticed and I’m surprised because Eunha and Yuju aren’t the type to show these type of emotions but Sowon and SinB are. Maybe they were so overwhelmed that they forgot, Sowon in her letter seems to try to comfort the fans, maybe that’s their focus.

Things I got from these letters: • everything seemed rushed • it feels like they feel guilty for not giving more to the fans in all these years when they stayed pure and hardworking all these years • this is the goodbye as much as we think they will maybe go somewhere, the letters feel like a goodbye. I can even imagine Eunha sobbing while writing that because it’s so hard for her to express herself and not cry. Gfriend built the company, they were bullied just the way they were loved, they have their best to have this end?!? I just can’t accept this. I thought that maybe they would’ve wanted to leave. With the letters, I feel like they don’t have much of a choice.

“8. It’s just that the disbandment process shouldn’t be like this, so rude to the fans..” honestly, this!! As fan, I feel upset over the situation and how poorly it was done and so far with 0 explanations or references of the future. No rumors, nothing. Everything was looking fine, no signals were given. It’s upsetting how this process was handled.

We don’t delete accounts unless you live in a country that falls under the jurisdiction of the GDPR. We can permanent ban you through.

Me and my friends thought they would maybe disband after 7 years. They would leave while they are popular and try to go for something different individually. Why am I shocked? Because with them joining HYBE and finally having diff songs and concepts, I thought this meant they would stay. That it would be enough to keep going. And now I feel like a fool.

Please, change the title to something like “People are spreading misinformation about Infinite”. The way you put is like the fandom is doing it and this can become a fan war, it’s not fair to blame a fandom for some people using twitter for information (that can be wrong, idk cause I don’t follow Infinite) and brag about it. Let’s share opinions and information but without creating problems between fandoms and since twt mess isn’t allowed here, we would need to lock if it becomes the case
