Has anyone with combo/oily skin tried the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum? In the winter, my skin tends to get dry patches so I'm thinking of picking this up. Plus, it's more geared towards olive or heavy yellow undertones, which is nearly impossible to find anywhere. Also, any opinions on Guerlain's Lingerie de Peau?

Does anyone know if this is the result of botox in the jaw or what? This is NU'EST's Minhyun, btw. Sorry for the lack of good comparison pictures, but his Instagram has some recent selfies. I don't know if it's angles/photoshop or what, but I'm pretty sure Ren got something done (which I kinda wish he didn't do so much tbh) a while back, so it wouldn't be surprising if it'd be easier for smaller groups like NU'EST to do something without a ton of people zeroing in on them.- 26,504 replies

TheBalm's Mary Lou-Manizer is a nice champagne highlighter. Very pigmented, easy to work with, not glittery. I've heard good things about Becca's Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop. My Becca Rose Quartz highlighter is nice but has small microglitter in it, though it's not noticeable on the face. Colourpop makes good and subtle highlighters for $8 USD but it's not exactly a powder formula. They also have a little bit of a learning curve and require use of fingers or a stiff, synthetic brush.

Fat grafting, maybe? While having a slim jawline is desirable, having fuller cheeks also brings an essence of youth. Not the greatest example, but it takes away the sunken/sallow look: Could also be bloating, health complications, hormones or weight gain ofc.- 26,504 replies

I really wish some Chinese artists (no hate here - am Chinese), or their song producers, didn't use so much autotune :( Luhan's Reloaded album was like that as well. Luhan has a nice singing voice and Kris has improved on his vocals. He sang pretty well in Time Boils the Rain. It sounds like it would've been much nicer without so much autotune, but it still has charm. I really like the mix of traditional and modern instrumentals and influence - not a ton of songs have that. Not sure if this is a song for promoting a project of his or what? Also, the swordsman outfit + hair

Not sure if you're being serious, but to refrain from aging terribly and looking like a too-tight drum. It's also unnecessary at his age to get it so often. I think it's a wise choice for idols to lay off botox in their early years. It's hardly necessary, at least to get it done often, in your late teens and early to mid-twenties. I also think Baekhyun looks better these days. Not sure if it's something he did or what, though.- 26,504 replies

This, on most occasions, usually has to do with the actual jaw rather than simple asymmetry. Meaning your lower jaw juts out more one way than the other because of misalignment. It can be very subtle or extreme depending on how bad it is. If you have trouble opening your jaw wide, experience TMJ/popping, or your teeth don't line up together when closed 100%, you probably need to get that fixed rather than cosmetically done. If it's just asymmetry where the actual jaw bone is for some reason larger on one side, then they'd shave it down a little. But in most cases, I believe you have to get ortho surgery or braces to correct the misalignment (if that's the reason). Ofc it's not necessary but I believe most orthodontists would recommend it since these types of things tend to get worse with age.- 26,504 replies

Yes and no. It's not as normal as everyone, particularly foreigners, make it out to be. Not everyone has it or wants it. You're right in that It's definitely more common in S. Korea than it is in most other places but to say it so casually as if there are no natural people or idols is incorrect. Idols are the topic of gossip. They're no stranger to the public eye so it's only normal to talk. And it's interesting to speculate or discuss. Apparently enough to spawn 217 pages, anyway.- 26,504 replies

Does anyone use the NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint? If so, would it work alright with combo/oily skin with old acne scarring? Basically, how is the coverage and oil-control? Also, do the shades lean very yellow? I have olive undertones and can pretty much only get away with very yellow foundations :/

Thanks! I've actually seen all of those channels but I appreciate the help! What I mean is if an idol had their makeup done as they usually have it done by their personal makeup artists. It'd be cool to see some sort of makeup channel on Youtube or TV that was just idols getting their full makeup done, though I know that'd never happen :(
-
I wish we could see idols getting their makeup done. Most of them probably don't want to be seen 100% makeup-free though, which sucks :/ I'm really interested in seeing the techniques, how much they really use, tips and tricks etc. that professional idol makeup artists use for Asian features. I know there's a lot of tutorials by Asian beauty gurus but it's not really the same, and a lot of them cater to an American audience..

^ The Sulli boob job thing is half and half. But I don't think people were saying she needs underwire bras.. they brought it up as a point that underwire offers more support and lifts the breasts a bit more than a soft-padded bra. So having underwire would make a small difference in the appearance. I could see her having a boob job, but it's sort of like Hyuna's speculated boob job. It's hard to tell and there's many other factors that can go into why they appear bigger. I believe this was discussed long ago about Jessica, but teardrop implants are becoming increasingly popular. They look much more natural, though less perky and round. It basically just looks like larger breasts with a natural shape. But angles, birth control, clothing/bras, photoshop etc. can make a difference. I don't think it's as uncommon as people think for K-pop idols or Asian celebs in general to have breast implants though. It's not nearly as common as it is in Hollywood, but it's not like Asian idols don't get it done either.- 26,504 replies

Looks like botox to me. His face looks very firm, wrinkle-free and a little stiff all around. I think Key's one of the idols that gets constant upkeep with botox. Especially now that he's a little older (though not old enough to warrant botox imho). I haven't been keeping up with SHINee though, so I could be wrong. The first picture has obvious contouring so it's hard to say for that.- 26,504 replies

Brian's nose looks the same imo. Jeonghan's nose looks slightly changed. Nothing bad but the bump is lessened and the bridge between the eyes looks ever-so-slightly higher. Nothing very noticeable though. It could definitely be angles. But at the same time, do not come to threads that will make you upset or involve discussion of your bias if you cannot be objective. Despite being entitled to an opinion, there's no need to start fights or call people losers because you deny things about groups or idols. Nobody is a doctor or surgeon here - we're most of the time guessing off of what we see and what we've learned or experienced. It's not uncommon for idols to have it and look very natural. What we say here isn't the truth but just discussion and what we think could be.- 26,504 replies

This and you can also get botox injections along the jawline. They inject it in small increments through the muscles lining your jaw. It slims it down a bit, since humans naturally have a lot of muscle built up there from chewing, grinding teeth etc. It's easy to hide and the marks go away quickly, so some idols with subtle changes probably get that done. You can go ham and reduce the jawline a fair bit but it's only temporary. For anyone wondering, here's an example of less extreme injections:- 26,504 replies

I agree, Yoona's jawline looks so weird in certain angles. No doubt she's still pretty but I'm pretty sure her first jawshave was enough. It looks too close to her ear and unnatural from the side profile imo. The fillers or w/e she gets done to make her face appear plump add to the unnatural look. Also, Taeyeon's jaw looks amazing here. Does she still "have" this one? Or has it been shaved down or worked on in any way? I rarely see her jaw with her hair and whatnot so idk.- 26,504 replies

I don't mean to be rude, but it'd be really helpful if people asking about if someone got stuff done or w/e posted pictures. Anything for reference is helpful. Naturally we can look things up but it does help a lot when people contribute to making it easier to assess things..- 26,504 replies
