  1. People ----------------------- I'm just gonna go ahead and say it - because I believe it. I truly do. Let me speak up first, and don't throw things my direction, I'm older than you, for one, and second, you gotta listen to BTS as well "Love yourself, and then go get that love to somebody else." So love me, will you? I am convinced that the boys are going to perform DNA.........AND Fire. Hear me out, I believe that DNA is going to show up pretty soon into the show.WIth the fell of it and all it would serve as a really good introduction and mood-maker, and I also bet it's going to be a real nice change too from everything else, with all of the dancing and "kpop ness" happening too. People are probably gonna be shocked at what jsut hit them -------- also, they are definitely going to loose it when they hear the enormous fanchants. Can't wait to see the faces for that. Now, FIRE, on the other hand, would be the best way to end the show. Just think about it. The way the AMA's have been pushing bts, and with all the crazy hype surrounding them, it doesn't seem too far-fretched to me to let them perform a second song, a sort of encore, if you will. You've heard it from me first.
  2. Ok - will do, and thanks for the tip. I was afraid my questions would jsut go unnoticed with all the crazyness happening. I'm actually quite surprised I'm still awake and managing quite fine, actually. Not even feeling a little bit of tired. With the new interviews popping up left and right, I'm seriously starting to feel the buzz right now. Just knowing this is happening RIGHT NOW, as I type, is pretty unbelievable, tbh. He truly is. I noticed just how much more confident he seems, but then again, I always forget just how young BTS are. They always act and look so much more mature than their actual age, especially in comparison to most other kpop acts. He was about 22 that time, and that is super young, and the pressure on him is immense - especially with all of the responisbiity on his shoulders. Think about it --- he is pretty much, single-handedley pulling bts through this. Just imagine what this would be like without him speaking his good english? Thanks for this too - definitely going to look it up. I gotta say, reading some of the comments here, I am glad that my own connection seems to hold up as well as it does - so far, I'e had no crashes or slowing down. Enjoy ;T
  3. Is there a link for all of the E interviews - can I watch them through some live stream too?
  4. Haha - I feel very trendy right now, reading twitter posts and all. Oh, how far I have come ------------ on another side, it seems that a lot of people on the internet are starting to notice V. And to be honest, I was expecting it. Like I said, not to sound superficial, but he couldn't have picked a better hairstyle and colour f he tried. Really glad he stuck with his DNA hair and concept.
  5. Also glad to see the boys with zero (well, minimal) make-up too. It might be a very small thing, but I always enjoy natural faces more, especially since in k-pop all idols, males included, are going way overboard with it all.
  6. I must say, so far the AMA's are doing a good job at presenting BTS, not only about the amount of coverage they give them, but the way they are going on about it. They are treating them like actual musicians and human beings, rather than the next PSY or something. Especially the introduction bit of each member early on was a nice touch. Short, but effective. Who ever's responsible for creating this content deserves a pat on the shoulder.
  7. They just did a super nice edit showing bts and their "love yourself" message. With RM's voice over and their logo appearing and all, alos introducing them as first korean act, and their debut.
  8. Just going to be serious here for a minute - please endure if you can. I know there has been a lot of talk about unity, acceptance, tolerance and creating a better world for the generations to come. It's been some crappy times for a lot of people all over the world, whether that be fights on the streets, actual wars, senseless killings all over, or even something smaller in comparison, like stress in school, abusive family lives or bullying in general. For some, life is really not all honey and milk - no one can deny that. We have 2017, but there are still too many parts of this world where it seems to have come to a standstill some hundreds of years back. Of course I too do not live in a state of total ignorance of all the bad things happening around me, even if I do have it relatively good in comparison. There are times when I wake up and can't help but feel bad for all those people, who are going to suffer that day, and probably the rest of their lives too. Sometimes, those thoughts really shake me up. The thing is, BTS has been about acceptance, love and respect pretty much from the very beginning. Sure, they are not the only k-pop group band with a large fanbase, but I think, part of the reason they appealed to so many (and are starting to gain new fans with every second) in the first place, was because they truly managed to convey those values through their music and lyrics specifically. They are so genuine about it, that one simply can't but NOT believe them. I am not saying that they are the only ones to do so - but the consistency of them doing so, and the sheer number of tracks dedicated to these values is what makes them different from any other idol band. It's not just one "deep" and serious track in between, but the majority of the album. When I listen to (and read the lyrics) from album to album, I get a genuine sense of maturation. It's literally like reading someone's diary. What I'm really trying to say here is, that BTS has become synonymous with terms like "acceptance" "love" and "tolerance". It's not just a fad with them - and it's resonating with people all over the globe. So many young people are part of their fandom, and it gives them a sense of unity and belonging too - despite me not being the most up to date internet person --- even I can tell how good bts actually makes their fans feel. Especially those, who do get bullied, who do get beaten and abused by their family, or who simply have a hard time figuring things out in their lives at the moment. Being part of something this big can be empowering, even if it is only taking place on the internet. It might just be a small thing, but I am glad that that something like a pop act from Korea manages to brighten up their day and raise their mood, if only for a little bit. So yes, music indeed does transcendent all barriers - and if bts make people happy, than, that is all that counts. God knows this world is crappy enough at times, and anything that cheers you up, can't really be all that bad of a thing.
  9. In Europe we get double of our usual pay for November (at least in Austria/Germany, ect) and I have all intention to use that money up. To be honest, I've had my eye on the WINGS album too for a wile now. That package is certainly doing something to me, not gonna lie. I think, part of the reason might be that the artful cover really appeals to me as an art major. "HER" is another possibility, but knowing k-pop, it might just be better for me to wait for the repackage.
  10. Wellllllll ----------------- id they really, TRULY end up performing FIRE too, the hype might just get too big for me to handle. I'll probably end up losing my rational state of mind, and go all out on Amazon. But I would be sly about it, you know? There's a lot of BTS hoodies and shirts that are super obvious - however, I'd go with something way more subtle, like, jsut a little snipped of bts on it, so people won't even notice, and only some other fan might. There's this really cool WINGS hoodie, that has the four circles on the front, and nothing else. How's that for me being subtle? FIRE FIREEE FIREEEEEEEEEE
  11. Haha - the hype is getting real. I think I'm on the verge of ordering a bts hoodie from Amazon ------ that would be my FIRST kpop merchandise ever, but ---- I think, I'm about to do it. I'm doing it - I'm ready to do it - Now I just did.
  12. Guys --- watch this, if you havn't already. It will be some of the best eight minutes, I promise that. This guy TRULY did his homework - like, honestly, this guy gets them, he gets bts, the whole vibe, and he had the best questions I've ever heard bts being asked, honestly. When even SUGA feels the need to answer it says something. Go, watch it. He asked them if they feel it's risky to write about some of the stuff they do? Or how they keep focused despite all the crazyness going on - and he also asked about their campaign, and how much good it does. He also asked them to keep singing in korean despite some fans demands for english lyrics. Truly a genuine guy, this Zack.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpHKv_p8-PQ RM like's FIRE the best too! And "Best of me" too ---- easily one of my favourites from this album! I like how it overflows with emotion, and how much the chorus does, despite how minimal it is. Also ------ this is actually the kind of interview, I was hoping for, despite how short it was.
  14. No. It's not, if you ask me. But, to be honest, I would advice you to simply go to bed and get your rest instead of forcing yourself to stay awake for so long, even if the anticipation is killing you. Once you get from school you'll have the added bonus of knowing that there'll be hundreds of videos and tons of fotos ----- also, you can set yourself up nicely, and buy a burger and chips and some soda, and have yourself a small party. That way you'll be comfortable, super excited, and actually AWAKE and relaxed enough to enjoy the whole thing, rather than force your body to stay awake.
  15. RM rambling is not the point - I don't care if he does - but rather, how he drops pretty much all of the questions with just a word or two, or, at most, some short one-liner. Also, he's being overly vague rather than share some of his (their) more personal experiences, like they did last time. It's all good though. Like I said, I was really excited for this segment, so feeling a little bumbed about bts general quitenes during interviews so far.
  16. My post is not about them not trying hard enough though, but rather about the boys (RM in particular) letting questions go all too easily, being overly vague to the point of not even answering at all, despite some fans and reporters making a great effort to come up with interesting stuff and engage them.
  17. I noticed this too. To be honest, this surprised me a great deal. I was expecting them, Rapmon in particular, to be way more talk-active this time around, especially given how well he did with the award show last year. He seems much more tentative, not only with his answers, but in general, and I find at times this tenseness even extends to his bodylanguage. Sure, there are lame questions being thrown at them, but it's not like reporters arn't making an effort to get them engaged. There were some pretty good questions popping up. You could tell that Mario was really trying to make them relax (which, imo, he succeeded with!) and participate, but bts energy seemed to be missing, and not only from this one. It really looks like they are not even making an effort to participate, apart from Rapmon. Also, I find that RM himself is ending a lot of good questions thrown his way way too early, rather than going a little deeper and trying to be a tad bit more specific. I can understand not wanting to give too much away, but still, replying with a little more than "We're ready" and "We'll see" is a tad bit dissapointing. It's not like people are being overly nosy or rude so far, and asking super silly stuff either. Being vague is ok, but dodging every single is truly a let-down, especially for international fans, who were hoping to get to hear them in a language most of us actually understand. He's basically saying nothing at all, and I really don't get why. AT this point BTS are literally just standing there saying they're good and happy and ready for the AMA's - and that is boring, no matter how you spin it.(sorry to say it) I'm not disapointed or anything, just a little confused and slightly let down - not gonna lie! --- as them being interviewed was the one part I was actually looking most forward to. Maybe they really are way more nervous than they let on - and who can really blame them?
  18. Easy there - chill, no need to be so offended. And I do strongly assume that the boys themselves picked the songs, because....why not? The Kimmel producers certainly seemed to be a little lost, even skipping tracks at one point and cutting off at another. There was definitely suggestions by BIGHIT, but the final decision must have come from them. And also, some people on twitter pointed out that they might have already performed DNA with Kimmel on some other segment (or it won't air after all, still needs confirmation). I wouldn't have minded either way, but I will be the first to say that I will take BST over DNA any day ;T It was a good stage no matter what. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SJi6_ui5C0
  19. Now I truly can't wait to see what the fans are gonna do at the AMA's! Still crossing my fingers for FIRE to burn up the stage.
  20. Stayed up all morning, and now I'm too restless to even go to sleep - but it was totally worth it.
  21. The boys themselves choosing "BST", their title track from the last album, over DNA, is saying A LOT. I strongly suspect we are not the only ones wishing songs were switched. BST is just the one track I found had the most western appeal out of any of their songs, along with SAVE ME. What if they shock us all and instead of DNA, they will somehow convince the producers of the AMA's do let them do BST instead?
  22. It's starting ------ Jimmy Kimmel is introducing Colin Ferrel right now. Is it gonna be bts next? I think it is.
