  1. Sohye winning, perhaps but being on the same team with Pinky and Chaeyeon (?) & not being centre, it'll be tough... Fair or not, the standards that Sohye is held to is not the same as that for Pinky or Chaeyeon... Pinky and Chaeyeon are expected to perform to perfection and will be voted accordingly, Sohye just has to be able to perform and not make any major mistakes (Rhythm, too far out of sync, forgetting steps... ie. pick me dance and initial irony session)... It's the online voting momentum that she needs to be maintained if she is to have any chance in getting into the top 11... She's likely in the next round... but remember, everything is likely to reset once again when the next round of eliminations are out... So the 100 k is of value to only Sejeong or Somi to determine 1st place or those trainees that want to get into or remain in the top 35...
  2. I hear you... I have some television experience and it with these shows, it all comes down to scheduling and working backwards, project planning so to speak... I would be very surprised if the voting went anywhere beyond the March 20th and that would be pushing it... Remember, the final 11 debuts on April 2nd so the further you push the final voting date out, the less time the final 11 have to practice... remember, you still have to shoot the 12 - 35 eliminations too... March 5th, voting closes... Voting likely resets March 11th to level playing field. Shooting of 36 - 61 eliminations should be between March 6th - 8th, 3 days for editing and post production for episode airing on March 11th.... Mentor team selections & team practice to take place immediately after the 36-61 eliminations... likely the next day... The mentor performances should begin to air in episode 9 (March 18th)... so not a lot of time for the final 35 to practice and do their live show mentor performance... Voting ends March 19th, day after episode 9... or the latest March 26th (day after episode 10) which is pushing it... as the final 11 have to practice for their debut... unless of course, April 2nd is just the announcement with no song.... LOL which would be very unlikely... I am sure that MNet wants the group's debut song to a chart topper and will hype it as far as they can go... else what is the show for? MNet are very experienced with this shows, the twist is the live voting angle. Either way, MNet are going to be accused being unfair, evil editing and rigging the final 11... but reality is that it's all driven by the deadlines to get the show to air... To repeat myself, there are going to be a lot of twists and turns before the final episode... interestingly thought cropped up, Produce 101 airs Ktime 11 pm... If episode 11 is going to be live, what time is it going to air? The show is not going to be just one dance performance... so it will be interesting to see how the final episode is going to be handled... Just some additional random thoughts...
  3. Not unless you are voting by way of your Facebook, Twitter or CJ One account... This explains more... http://teampd101.tumblr.com/post/137826404842/tutorial-how-to-vote-for-top-11-girls Episodes on Dailymotion are up quicker however you can also use the following sites... http://ikshow.net/shows/produce-101/ or http://www.kshow.se/show/produce-101/
  4. Deductive reasoning, LoL.... It'll be darn close though... (Tongue in cheek) Here's some other deductive logic... NOTE: this is ONLY SPECULATION... But this is how I would do it... Episode 6 - Vocal performances (6 vocals) Episode 7 - Remaining performances (3 rap, 4 dance)... Voting ends day after airing, March 5th Episode 8 - New rankings 1-35 which will take up the 1st half of episode... Introducing the mentors + team selection Voting reset and if so, March 11th, tough call as to how MNet handles this... To reset (levels playing field & all bets are off save for perhaps Kim Sejeong) or have votes roll over (top ranked trainees are going to be so far ahead...). I wouldn't be surprised if prizes of 200,000 votes or some number were given based on live voting again.... There are 35 trainees left, so likely 7 teams of 5, my guess is 8 teams, basically 2 teams per mentor (assuming 4) Episode 9 - 6 per mentor performances. Voting ends (17th March). Episode 10 shooting of Final 11 trainees, debut training begins after shooting, 2 weeks of intense training... Episode 10 - remaining mentor performances + Final 11 rankings April 2nd... Episode 11 - The road to debut... Trainee background stories, group bonding, after thoughts, flashbacks + live debut... I SAY AGAIN, this is SIMPLE SPECULATION & exercising the brain cells... I bear no responsibility to this being wrong, misleading and totally off-base. What is going to be true though... Trainees are going to be stressed and pushed to the limit and even past the breaking point... There are going to fights galore, 'evil empire editing', fans going against each other, innuendo & mud flung in all directions, tears, heartaches, success, vindication? So hang on for the ride... I am.....
  5. Mission 1 - Pick Me Mission 2 - Group Battle 62-97 cut Mission 3 - Vocal, Dance & Rap Battle 36-61 cut Mission 4 - Mentoring Battle 12-35 cut Mission 5 - Debut
  6. Eureka! It works... Didn't want to spam that reply, my other 2 include favourite edits in episode 1... the one that really made be root for them... 1) Episode 1, around 10-11 mins when the Jelphi girls sat on seats 2-4 and Mina said it was too high & Sejeong being the mother hen 2) Episode 2, around 15 min mark when Choi Yoo Jung asked Doyeon how she looked & Doyeon answering as to how she should answer that... Classic moments besides some of the introductory dances...
  7. Yep, so very cute... she has my vote... some of the time anyway... This remains 1 of 3 of my most memorable edits in episodes 1 edits...
  8. LOL, Peace... Me bad.... I tend to be verbose & long winded, so much as to border on ranting... opinions are fine, trolling is fine too, diversity of opinion gives us a different perspective on things... some we agree with, some we don't and sometimes we even change our minds... so rant away... I know I do... LOL Now if I could only figure out how to use the multi-quote option...
  9. Yep, she picked last in the group battles and even though she lost by a single point, she really brought them together & remained upbeat throughout... she's not the bubbly person Mina is, nor the extrovert that Sejeong is but she certainly does have that certain air about her...
  10. Chill folks and just sit back and enjoy the program.... Sira deserved to win, Sejeong won... team of 5, team of 4... Sejeong had the bigger share of the vocals in the song unlike Sira... and so it goes... both were great... each deserves to be recognised for it... Personally, I preferred Sejeong... people have suggested that the higher notes were not her forte but this song dispels that notion, I just felt that the emotion she brought to the song was the thing that resonated with the people there... Remember, it's all a matter of perspective... Anyhow, it's over, it's done, there will be some other side-story to get annoyed about shortly... So, just enjoy the this back & forth chit chat, the trolling and even the frank opinions bandied on this thread... PEACE!
  11. Not really sure that wouldn't have detracted from the overall performance... Nayoung did just great with what she had... I sympathise more with Yoon Chaekyung, Oh Seokyung though... supporting roles are never really appreciated...
  12. Greetings, a simple question... What do you think are the life-lessons or lessons learned by the trainees who participated in this Produce 101 program? Exposure, experience, interacting with others... and the list goes on... but seriously, these are all a given... My thoughts: - This is the first reality show that I've seen that pulls all the trainees together for an extended period of time and basically pushing them out of their comfort zones... Choi Yoo Jung, a sensitive and lovable introvert is a prime example - Everyone is talented but not everyone is all-rounded, you play to your strengths when you can and you basically try your best or wing it when you can't... Trying is and working towards your goals is never a wasted exercise... Insun & Juna are cases in point - Most trainees were likely intimidated (perhaps not 100% the right word) when the JYP, MBK, Pledis girls to name a few when they were introduced in episode 1 but over time, some, not all have likely realised that with a bit of work, determination and perhaps a slice of luck, that that their dreams are not that far off... Fantagio and Jelphi girls, fighting... - Character and Self-esteem are so very important, Self-esteem is so very different to self-confidence... Kim Sejeong and Chanmi spring to mind... Sejeong seems to have that inner strength that Chanmi looks to have lost... But then it's TV... if so, it's a pity really... Chanmi, fighting! - It's not easy to be an IDOL... Image is important but seldom do we have an on / off switch... We are the same person regardless of where we are... as someone pointed out in an earlier post... there are always consequences to each and everything we do and 'mistakes' are always magnified, because of editing perhaps but perhaps not... Chanmi, Oh Seojung, Cathy, Yuenjung and so the list goes on... Honesty, unfortunately in this industry is not always the best policy... Blah, blah, blah....
  13. Rhetorical question? Well, basically, MNet gets revenue by syndicating the program... it creates potential exposure for Produce 101's debut group... Agencies participating love it because it gives both them & their trainees more free exposure... who cares that it's after the fact... I am sure that agencies and/or trainees that thought themselves too good to participate in the program are quite envious at the moment... or perhaps they don't really care... LOL
  14. I think someone answered already... but basically, there are 3 categories, Vocals, Dance and Rap... Trainees that get the most 'live' votes during their performance and overall amongst the category wins the 100,000 votes... so the winners in each category gets the 100 k, a winner take all so to speak... It's not a system without its flaws but then as I said, no system ever is... The view is that smaller groups have a bigger advantage then larger groups since the pool of votes is spread amongst fewer people, my take is that trainees who have the key vocal or rap parts will always be at an advantage... In dance, less so as they are all good dancers, but the centres will definitely have the edge...
  15. There was a post somewhere else that had Kim Nayoung talking about why she chose Yanghwa Bridge despite knowing that Sejeong was going to get the bulk of the votes... She wanted to really sing the song and because it suited her... Of all the agency groups, I think the Jelphi girls are the most finished... Each are essentially complimentary to the others... The group is worth more than just the sum of the parts... Hence a lot of voters vote them as a package...
  16. Hm... I think you mean Kim Sejeong who came first in the vocals and received the 100,000 votes...
  17. yes so very cute, did you notice that Sohye was leaving the room as they came in.... also very funny when Sejeong got the tissues... and then walked out of the room... everyone was expecting her to clean up the mess... does anyone have the translation as to where she was going? I can only assume it was to the ladies room...
  18. LOL...Choi Yoojung (Pick Me Center, currently ranked 2nd), Park Gaeul (Currently ranked 51) and Im Nayoung (Pledis aka Stone Budda, currently ranked 11th and gaining votes fast)...
  19. Likely not... 29 trainees in vocal groups, 32 in dance/rap, I would say that (would be surprised in they released an updated ranking list next episode, save for live voting), that 80-90% of the eliminates will be from the current trainees ranked 36-61 in the latest rankings... Using trend analysis, even Chanmi might be eliminated... Unless she gets the 100 k....
  20. Episode airs on March 4th, voting closes on the 5th... Shooting of 2nd elimination takes place shortly thereafter for for airing on the 11th... It's all about TV deadlines... You can't have all the group performances in one episode, else it will be just one long music video with little context behind each group....
  21. Think Produce 101 program to be shown in Japan.... April if I read the promo video correctly...
  22. , I think they did think this through but whichever way would have its flaws.... I suspect they could have delayed but the timings do not work as they have to still shoot the elimination round after the 5th, edit / cut to be in time to show episode 8 on the 11th... I suspect that as like last time, they will put the individuals fan cams up but not a guarantee... That's television for you...
  23. LOL, nope... voting closes on March 5th, the day after episode 7.... so we get the elimination results on March 11th, episode 8...
