I hope that Yiren doesn’t give up and that the support she’s received so far will encourage her to continue. I just can’t get over how beautiful and brave she is to put herself out there. A lot of the trainees I was rooting for didn’t make it :(. (But I was kinda surprised that minju made it because she seemed to have the same track record as Yiren in terms of their rankings. I’m not made, because I like her too). What does everyone think of the Chinese voting scandals? Not that this is a surprise bc I hear this all the time, but I’m conflicted on how I feel about the issue. Did her Chinese voters just stop voting for her, especially over the past weeks? It just doesn’t make sense... I don’t know what to think...

Yeah, for some reason I do have hope that she may make it. It’s very unclear what the rankings are since mnet was shady AF after episode 10 and only showed Hitomi at 13th, I would conclude that the current ranking is to mnet’s liking (given that the previous ranking they showed was a couple of days after episode 9 with many Japanese trainees ranked very high and Miho at #1 and wang yiren was at #26. Perhaps it looks a little something more like the pattern shown in previous episodes. I checked on Naver and her video is 13th in terms of views for the individul focus concept performances but less likes in proportion to the other trainees’ likes. Take that as you will, but I’m definitely not hopeless.

I am in love with this girl. Yes I’m shallow AF, but let’s be honest, this is kpop. I think that Yiren has such good facial expressions that don’t feel awkward at all. IDK maybe I’m blind, but I thought that she did a wonderful job as center, and her voice was the most suited . She if def my bias. Because of the mixed feelings and low ratings Produce 48 has received from the Korean public, I would not mind if she did not make it into the final 12. Please hear me out: 1. I would rather she not be in the final group if they receive a lot of backlash and I have a feeling (though I hope I’m wrong) the final group won’t be as popular as the previous produce groups. I just don’t want her to be stuck in a mediocre group for years according to the contract. 2. As an individual, she shines, but I feel that in a group of 12 girl’s she’d be over shadowed by those more popular than her (like Sakura, Wonyoung etc) this is no fault of her own, and I personally would only have eyes for her, but we all are aware that her number of fans are small compared to some of the other trainees. 3. I can totally see her in a different girl group where she would get a fresh start but with some public recognition. I think that she’d have space and enough room to breath and enjoy herself, instead of constantly painfully aware that she has to try extra hard to get people’s attentions ( which is why she wanted to be center in the first place - and it hurts to hear people call her center hungry). 4. But I can also see her going solo and branching into acting - I think she has the potential. Can you imagine how beautiful she’d be in a Chinese drama - esp. a historical drama! There’s a part of me that would feel more at ease if she focused on making a name in China. She already has Chinese fans from Produce, so she’s already got a launching pad. But most importantly, I don’t want her to get hate comments for her being Chinese - I think that’s the hardest thing about stanning a Chinese idol. Realistically, if she debuted in Korea, I am certain that her agency would send her to make money in China (even if she wanted to or not) we’ve seen this with Kyulkyung and 5. I simply want her to be happy, comfortable in her own skin, be accepted by the community, and thrive! The most important thing for me is that she has options to pursue any career she wishes! YAS MY BOY GOT IN!!!!! I don't even care if ppl be trashing him and I'm so BIASED BUT YASSSS. I cried when his fam came to see him and his speech at the end was heartwarming! I always love to hear foreign members speak their native language and I finally got to hear him say something in Chinese, I was starting to think he only knew Korean and English. Anyways, I'm glad he didn't get hate for being a foreigner and it wasn't a big deal.

In episode 7 you can see a screen shot of a girl holding a JungJung sign and I cried lol. Also after he won first place mnet actually showed him speaking something in Korean!!!! I really hope he goes into acting jobs on the side bc I would totally see whatever Chinese drama or movie he's in.

Aaahhh if only knetz could appreciate JungJung like his fellow PRODUCE 101 mates. He's so graceful... Also I'm still bitter about Gunmin being cut. I was rooting for him and his Boys in Luv performance really stood to me. I'm gonna cry if I see these biases both leave.

Thank you so much, These comments made my day. JungJung is just the best and it frustrates me that he isn't being noticed. Like the top 11 visuals didn't have him, and I litteray flipped the table- that list is invalid without JungJung. Also I've already accepted the fact that JungJung is most likely not gonna make it to the final 11, but I hope in vain that he'll at least AT LEAST survive the next elimination. Btw, I've been stalking this thread and other JungJung related material and I finally felt frustrated enough to rant about JungJung' s situation. I tend to have a soft spot for the foreign trainees

I took a screen shot, then put it in paint, then copied it on to word. I opened the paste from word box and tried to paste it on OH- BUT the damn thing won't work.

Based on how the badge votings have been going, i find myself in the minority of a lot of badges, which makes me question my taste in badges, or those around me. I swear if Chen doesn't get the perfect badge, I will know who voted- insert suspicious face (I'm on my phone)- I'm crying at the current leading badge for lay.

I can't help it- I have to chime in- I'll have to listen to the songs again bc I'm slowly losing my memory, but I think I appreciate the Lucky One on an artistic level for it's uniqueness and interesting instrumentals. But Monster has a catchier tune that's more public friendly. I think the mv of LO kind of creeped peole out a bit, and I'm still trying to make sense of it. I had a theory that the teaser was somehow connected to SNSD's Mr Mr (that would've been awesome). It there's one thing that makes me laugh about Monster is the choreo (specifically Baek's and Xiumin's) If you've seen some of their live stages of Monster, Xiumin really stood out to me and Baek because they were doing some interesting interpretive dancing LOL. The choreo looks good in the mv, but there's something off about it when I saw it in the live stage- idk. Also when Suho has that solo dabbing part, the other members look so weird, like of all positions they would've taken, that's the one they chose? Also, I really loved Monster, but I felt that the rap was kind of awkward. It felt too long, and imo it sounds really weird for me to listen to a whole minute if rapping bc it just sounds repetitive to me. I think they should have spilt the parts instead of having it in long rap. Sorry, I'm getting too critical and picky, I swear I could write a 10 page essay just analyzing their songs and concepts (this is what I do for fun)

F#CK I just listened to Exact again, and you guys were right, I feel enlightened now. Cloud 9 is SSSSSOOOO GGGGOOOD, and I also liked They Never Know. But I'm not too crazy about articifical love. I thought I'd end up liking the track, but I didn't think it'd take this short of time. Also, I listened to the XOXO tracklist and I actually love thoses songs. I can see why people might think that they are filler songs, but I personally like them - I forgot how much I loved angel and baby. Ok, I might have to get the album sooner than I thought - thank god I have a summer job or I don't know how I'll fund my exo expenses. @Thayeon- thank for suggesting that I listen to it again or I wouldn't have listened to it for like a month. I just realized I listen to Exo songs EVERY SINGLE DAY- thank god they have a billion songs, or I'd go crazy OMG I just drank coffee, its 2AM and I'm writing my research paper, and I have also have a concert until 7pm today and I'll probably not eat lunch or dinner, and I'll be wearing heels all day- If I die today- just know I died happy
