I don't mean to keep dragging this out, but how exactly is it the same? As far as I'm aware, Hanteo numbers just count sales from any stores that are Hanteo affiliated. Gaon numbers are for all sales shipped out of Korea (globally). Neither of them say anywhere that their data is only supposed to include sales from within Korea (like Billboard does).

I'm not arguing about Korean charts. They have their own rules. However, the US Billboard rules very specifically state that only sales from the US are supposed to count there.

Wait, how is it even similar? Hanteo counts all sales from stores that are affiliated with Hanteo. US Billboard is only supposed to count sales from the US. If the albums are being shipped out of the country, then those are not US consumers, which is the point I believe they are trying to make.
