oh, how come? hope to see you back soon <3

i'll have some won if you don't mind

    Enjoy your wons :)

I've just become to preoccupied with this forums and kpop in general that it's taking a toll on my real life, especially in school :rlytearpls:

I already have shitty time management, and spending hours a day on OH isn't helping lol. Plus the kpop fandom has really become a bitter place lately and this site seems to be like, the pinnacle of that. I just need a brea

    k ]

Let yourself stress-free from OH lol. I've done it before because of personal issues, it helps since when I came back I learn not to take everything seriously and just move on. Take your time and enjoy every bit, just make sure you won't forget kookie lol.

And I'll gladly accept your wons  :chu:

lmfao Thanks for the advice and enjoy your wons bb <3

bad news guys so im putting on the spoilers

    What do u think happened

I my honest opinion, RM is getting kind of boring now. When I first saw it, I was completely in love with the show and everything. But now that I've seen so many episodes I don't really care for it. Plus, I feel the older episodes were much better than the newer ones. Also I don't care about T.V. ratings because they're always changing. Just as long as the boys had fun and time to shine then I don't really think much of it. That's just my two cent.

Mte.  I feel like they also don't have to try so hard bc their popularity in China. I don't think people realize this but RM was never THAT popular in Korea. It's claim to fame has always been being really popular among international fans. And because the shows popularity abroad, especially in China, is enough to keep them afloat, ratings aren't that important to them. That being said, I don't think you should be to worry about the ratings going down for BTS's episode. First they were only a small cut, and secondly Running Man is getting more boring like Anon009 said.

  3. hey welcome to the once/Twice Thread! Nice to meet you!

Will you be posting on a regular basis with us?

what's your fav twice song and do you have a bias or do you love them all?

    Hello!

I'm not sure how regularly I'll be  posting just because school is pretty hectic nowadays :rlytearpls:

My top twice songs are I Think I'm Crazy, Headphones, Precious Love, LOA, and Do It Again. And for now, I can't really say I have a favorite members. like them all so much  :chu:

  4. Hey Guys! First time posting in the Official Thread even though I've been on OH for a while~Nice to meet you all!

Anyway, idk if any of you watched the 300th episode of running man that just came out, but during the BTS cut, right before BTS reveal themselves, the running man members start guessing what idol group it could be and Jihyo (running man Jihyo lol) guesses Twice, and Gary says that Twice would be good! Hopefully we'll seen them on soon :rlytearpls:

  5. Completely off whatever topic we're on now - but I've just finished watching a slew of reaction videos for BTS videos (slippery slope you guys, once you start, you think you're going to watch 1 video, and 3 hours and like 100 videos later, you're like how did I get here? but i digress) and I was wondering, if idols ever watch these videos (and I know some have seen some, since they were filmed) do they understand some of the slang words that are used? As a non native english speaker, I can tell you it's very confusing at first the amount of language that we would think is offensive that is being used to describe the MVs positively (things like rude, or GTFO, or like straight up gagging or gasping). They probably understand the intentions behind it, but I just find it very odd :p

I also remember reading a fan account about someone teaching Lit to V - I wonder if there are any other cool anecdotes like that from foreign fans?

That kind of reminds me or that time when that one fans jokingly told J*ackson to shut up and her responsed, saying they were a hater lmfao. But maybe they get someone to translate?

  6. This is so funny, because this is how I think everyone feels when they know BTS is in their country (or city) and they don't want to be creepy but it's still really like... hard.... not to freak out too much or want to see them. I don't want to be THAT fan, really. But the thought of seeing them in the flesh and up close is kind of..... hard to describe.

On a similar note, tried for KConNY single tickets and got shut out (I think the Saturday tickets sold out in like a minute, no joke) and now all that's left are the super expensive ones that I don't want to pay for because it's not just a BTS show. To know that BTS is gonna be in NYC and I might not go to see them is weird.

I don't know. I'm still processing. I totally understand this guy lol

I saw that there was a package that was 800$ and was like damn!I better be getting  a lap dance from Jimin with those prices! No but for real, what's with the insane prices increase? I would rather have less groups if that meant it was cheaper. :rlytearpls:

Honestly, if you're not into the other groups going, I'd wait? I'm nearly 100% positive they'll be coming to the US for a concert and NYC will definitely be a stop. Not that I don't think it'll likely still be impossible to get tickets lol, but it's another option. Personally I'd rather pay out the butt for more quality time at their own concert than KCON.

I really hope that's true because I became a interested in them about a week after tickets for their NYC concert went on sale so right when I realized I'd be interested in seeing them, the tickets were already sold out. I even considered going to that mess that was the highlight tour (in Toronto) just to see them but the bus ticket ended up being why too expensive. It would be awesome to see them live in their own concerts, especially since they have some many new songs since their last show in NYC. Plus I've never met any hardcore ARMY's in real life (I have friends that are KPop fans, but most of them are VIPs, or gg stans) so meeting a bunch at once would be so fun  :rlytearpls:

  7. Unbiased view on the 'bts plagiarism'

I pretty much agree with them, as long as they aren't copying music, then why does it matter if themes, clothes or whatever are similar. Like the girl said, stuff like that is recycled all the time in kpop and western pop

Edit: I don't know what I've done wrong with the link, I put [ media] and [/ media] either side of the link :S help!

I love Hallyuback! Brb watching it now

Edit: Okay watched it I 100% agree with the clothes part. Like anytime dating scandals brake and couple clothing is used as evidence, everyone always acknowledges the fact that a lot of clothes tend to be recycled through out the industry when they become trends, but someone people decide to conveniently forget that now :derp:  Like that infamous donut hoody, or those wrap skirts RV wore in icecream cake.  There's a difference between copying and something just being in style at the moment.

I think she made a good point though that one of the reasons haters go so hard at particularly trying to label them as

copy cats is because the rapmon situation last year (?). Yes, they had suffered accusations b4, but after that "victory", I've noticed that haters tend to work at the copy cag tag the most, regardless of the fact he handled it very professionally.

Also lol at Richard calling him Rap master XD

  8. Whew so much to backtrack on, 60+ pages. Yesterday was busy, because of graduation so I didn't get a chance to be on my phone really. I had the best time being with friends. we were the biggest group of graduates for my home school group, with a total of 28 people.

    Happy ramblings on graduating

I seriously didn't really hit me that I was graduating, until I heard my songs being played when we were waiting in line. I was asked to provide some music for graduation so recorded audio of myself playing some songs including a songs I composed.

There was a montage video with each of the parents commentary and words of encouragement to their kids. As soon as I saw a picture of my baby book, and as soon as a heard my dad's voice I started crying. I seriously didn't think I'd ever graduate, or ever be done with school, but I'm so happy i'm done. And I'm super excited for my next chapter.

    ++

I little funny thing that happened. My whole group of fellow home school graduates were sitting around an hour before we were supposed to line up were hanging out our "waiting room" sitting around eating Hershey's kisses, popcorn, and watching vegetales.

Home schooled till the very end folks, and proud of it! :)

    Back to backtracking  :derp:

    Congrats on graduating

I was the same way tbh. It didn't hit me until the summer after graduation when I starting packing for college. I specific all remembering everyone around me crying but thinking " can this hurry up? I'm hungry!" lol. Thinking back on it though I wish I tried to cherish the moment more. But once again! Congrats!

  9.

There's something i don't really get  about NB criteria to translate articles??? i know she focus on negative but this one came out off nowhere

The posts antis were doing during BTS' comeback were way worse and had much more upvotes than this one, but not even one single article was translated...

And suddenly she translates this... like... tf?

    :imstupid:

Idk she really knows when to strike. I thought bc their promotion period was so short this time around, they'd be somewhat safe. Especially since the articles about the MV views wasn't necessarily negative

  10. ^^^^^

I take comfort in knowing these fools are doing to BTS exactly what they did to BB when they were getting popular. And there's no reason to worry either because having similar clothes is such a non-issue when you look at trends in kpop. BTS won't lose a dime from this lmao.

omg same. I was a Big VIP during their rise/ peak and it's so weird how everything is playing out so similarly.

  11. How the hell can fans find the SAVE ME MV when Bighit hasn't uploaded the MV with "BTS" in the title. I can't even search the MV on youtube.

Someone who knows korean should send a tweet to Bighit regarding this!

I just went to their official channel because I assumed it was there when I started seeing gifs and stuff on twitter. I didn't really think it was that major haha.
