I really liked the idea of her joining the produce48 girls from Yuehua, but I feel like her fate is something/somewhere we don’t expect at all. For those who don’t know, these are the girls from YH: Anyway, fingers crossed for something good.

I can’t say what she will do after all I don’t know her personally, but going there would be a terrible decision imo. It’s not her universe anymore and it would cause quite an unnecessary media stir (and all kinds of speculation).

JYPE released their statement already, there won’t be anything else. She’s probably not speaking because she’s waiting for the time to announce her new destination with a good timing, Personally I don’t think she’ll be at the showcase as it's really clear she left. And I guess she’ll be announce as a soloist somewhere, but I really wished for a group. Something like Yuehua would be amazing, but joining a group that already exists is a nono, she wouldn’t do that.

I agree. We were there all the time, willing to follow this group and they are basically clapping that we are gone. I know there are fans who are disrespectful but we never were in that thread. And yet it wasn’t even 12 hours later and they were making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, which annoys me and hurts me but I decided not to say anything. Now to try to tarnish her name?? I guess we have reasons to be relieved too since it seems the niceties were an act that fell apart within a few hours.

She’s a 17 year girl girl too and she might not be on this group anymore, but I’ll be damned if we are gonna let you people run your mouth like this with insinuations and this lack of respect saying she didn’t bring anything anyway.

He left on bad terms though. Not even comparable with Somi. It’s easier to compare to all other artists that left jype and didn’t get blocked like 2am guys, Sunmi, Hyuna, Rain, God, Yeun, San E, etc.

I think Fave would be a nice option because they have pretty nice trainees (tbh I like them more than I like jype ones), but I don’t think it will happen. I wish it was true though because I’m not really digging the solo option. Giving this industry has some many solo artists who aren’t exactly strong vocal wise (from Rain to someone more recent like Sunmi), I don’t think the problem is about the vocals. I think these artists weren’t that strong, but they had songs and concepts that fit them and the market well. I think Somi would fit something like Megan Trainor's Woman Up, which is something more western with a concept that’s more mature. But she’s so young and she’s in Korea. I keep wondering.... what if she’s pursuing something out of Korea?

I have so many conflicting emotions. I don’t like jype at all after years of 2pm mismanagement, but at the same time I don’t see anything better for her so I’m just shocked and scared. I just hope this didn’t happen because of her parents pressure or anything like that. I hope they were careful in whatever they picked because it’s their daughter future at stake. But what can I do now except support? But I’m not gonna lie to myself. This is like changing something certain for something that could go either way success wise.

That’s the only thing that made sense. And maybe she was being approached by other companies. Some say she might not want to be an idol anymore, but somehow I find hard to believe.
