Overall It’s not my type of song, but what matters is that it’s the right song for somi and I think it is. I’m proud and happy for her! The charting is great too!

I don't think so, both of those are public and welcoming places! And I agree about KKT, I barely use it too, but I have too because of the fanbase so... Yeah. Otherwise, clearly not my place of choice to make a Somi-centered place for fans.

Might be unpopular opinion, but it’s time for her to focus on her solo career. All these girls had years to try everything by themselves and somi never did. I'm in the same boat here, I'm gonna be mad either way. Except that if the 1st option happens, I'll be mad but diffused cause I'll also be happy to see her in the MV and listen to her music at last, but I'll sure as hell be mad at TheBlackLabel. Hell, I'm already mad at them, the lack of communication is annoying to the max. Whether it's to promote her or announce a postponing, it doesn't costs a thing to T W E E T something.  Somi's fans have been waiting for her for years, this is just another cherry on top of a shit cake, seems like nothing about Somi's career can ever go right.

It’s not bad energy, it’s rightful indignation. We wait for so long and we were happy and now everything is uncertain again. I just hope if they are postponing her comeback they do it for one week and not for MONTHS.

I’m at the crossroads. If she debuts on May 1st without any promotion and teasing, I’m gonna be mad. If she doesn’t debut on May 1st I’m gonna be mad too because we’ve been waiting forever.

 

At this point, I don’t think she should. She’s not big enough to be able to afford not to have teasers and all that comes with the territory. I mean, even black pink has them, right? But anyway I don’t think it’s up to her and maybe not up to teddy. Might have to do with the board of directors? Just guessing here. Not sure how sublabels work, but imo they still have to go according to the main label plans. But TBL should let us know, we deserve that much.

bts is coming back 3 weeks before somi. and they will be in the usa while somi promotes.

there is only twice and they will not come back on the same week with somi.

 

in march there were powerful female acts who were promoting like g-idle, mamamoo, momoland, sunmi, taeyeon, park bom, baek yerin, suran, heize, plus the most anticipated debut txt.

i choose 3 weeks old bts song and twice any day. by the way twice - somi interactios will be a attention grabbing thing which i think actually helps.

Nah, exo is not coming back. I was just speaking of the worst cases in my opinion and it includes exo and bts and one of them is happening.

 

Out of the the things you said, only the controversy would affect her promo, but black pink is promoting now and they are doing great. Mind you, we wanted her to debut way before this controversy happened, didn’t we?

 

Taeyeon is promoting? Sunmi released in early March and now is on tour, right? Gidle song is from February? Momoland came back now, didn’t they? What about Baek Yerin and Bom? Don’t see how it would affect somi since both have like one song charting well? Txt is not even close to top 20 on melon. Their field is physical, which sadly won’t be somi's field.

 

And yeah, bts will be on tour but ALL their songs will be still on top so what I said still stands. And while I don’t care about charts, I really wanted her to chart well because I know results are important to kpop artists. Especially after all the time she waited and all the expectation she has on her shoulders. And if there are like 6 bts songs, for example, and 5 from twice (This is an EXAMPLE) plus all these artists that do well, it’s harder to even reach top 20.

 

Anyway we don’t have to agree about everything. What’s done is done. Will be hoping for the best when she debuts.

March was way better (especially considering that some groups who don’t even chart on melon got wins). The only scenario I wanted to avoid was bts and exo because both groups chart tons of songs and push everyone down. Now adding twice, it will be very hard for everyone else to chart high. That’s why we said there’s no point in running out of competition because you always can get something worse.

 

And honestly, with how things went down in the last few months, I doubt there will be a lot of interactions.

Did you guys see who will have a cb at the end of April? Told you guys it’s useless to cherry pick dates because you can’t predict these things. I usually don’t mind who goes against who in the charts because what will matter is a good song and putting her name out there, but I’m so not looking forward to the bait articles and the hate that might happen if something happens. I just want my girl to promote in peace :(
