good to see jurina's fans are planning on supporting her in this show too. also, lmao jurina fucked up but it was blown way out of proportions. it wasn't even that serious, she was shady about it and felt bad within the next few hours and apologized to her before the backlash had even begun. Its not as if Sakura hasn't undermined jurina (her senior) in the past anyway and she on the other hand has never apologized for it.

i think miyu's problem is that she's too shy and wasn't able to show her appeal, being ugly doesn't mean anything when you're good at variety or fishing. (see: dasu, who won #2 in this year's ssk and has been called ugly for years even though i don't think she's ugly at all)

i think this is the main difference between kpop and jpop. kpop tries to appeal to international crowds too much while 48g/sakamichi focuses more on popularity within japan

agree. what's the point of being a good singer or dancer if you can't hype up the crowd or even manage to get their attention? that's why the evaluations with the audience are important.

i wanted to put this into words but i didn't know how, lmao so thanks for that. I'll never forget watching akb48's koisuru fortune cookie performance at mama, i couldn't understand how such a simple choreography with no stand out vocals could have such an impact in me, and the more i dug into japanese idols the more i found myself...enjoying watching performances again. yes, kpop idols are by far more talented by japanese idols have that "special" something that attracts you and makes you smile. It's amazing how an aozora ga chigau (a keyakizaka46 song) or ponytail to shushu performance can make me more emotional than any well sung kpop ballad i had ever heard.

i hate kpop twitter so much, ever since i took a breather, everything has become much more enjoyable. it makes it harder to keep up with twice (i just watch their vlives and subbed content and ignore the fandom) but its so nice to just watch and relax. there's nothing i hated more than listening to a new song or watching a new ttv ep and seeing fans whine and fight instead of just...idk...enjoying their faves. i came back to onehallyu so i could keep up with twice news again, because sometimes one does want to see fans' reactions and its better to just lurk in the official thread
