  1. yeah both singularity and serendipity have ads. singularity's started before though and u can see the effect in daily views...it's risen like crazy. i'm confused about why bh would put ads for them specifically though. why not group mvs? or all solo mvs. i remember seeing a chinese taehyung stan on twitter say they bought yt ads for the mv and right after started seeing people mention the singularity ads, but i doubt they've somehow managed to buy them through bh? or idk. if anyone could manage that it would be taehyung and jimin stans hhh. esp with the race to 100m...
  2. yes but most people will listen to the full song through anyway and not just the first 30 seconds. only the dedicated streamers will be streaming for 30 sec, refreshing, streaming again, etc. doesn't help that scenery is a slower/ballad type song imo. a lot of the convo about the streams rn remind me a lot of singularity vs epiphany views arguments...i think it's a similar situation
  3. out of nowhere i've been seeing people start to use "solo stan" (on twt mainly) to describe people that only stan 1 group and i'm so confused abt why...i'm pretty sure solo stan has been used only for people that stan 1 member of a group no? (tho it's confused with an akgae a lot). at least i never saw it being used like this before hhh
  4. why are people still using US media only caring about money/fans as a drag or 'concern' over poor groups :((( (that they usually don't even stan) do people really think US media genuinely cares about every artist anyway? does SK media care about korean artists beyond money/fans??? i really don't get it lol like there are so many things you can call out when it comes to US media...why focus on this still and act like media is taking advantage of poor groups and their poor companies that don't know any better. they are using each other and that's how this stuff works everywhere. you can hate it if you like but don't act like it's unique to US media or like the companies/groups are not in on it like i understand if you call out media for reporting irresponsibly because they don't care enough but that's not the only thing people are doing lol
  5. this is cool! ty op. looks nice you probably already thought of this but it would be easier to make the bb100/200 charts on google spreadsheets. so you don't have to space out the year/artist/song/etc categories individually and all
  6. this throwback some of the people in this thread just eating up the bs lmao i can't
  7. can i be temporarily banned? until the end of september? like until october 1st starting now

  9. idk. i wouldn't find it weird if dna's graph was the same but it's not. dna's mv was also the one that had some views added from that metro uk (potentially questionable?) source. the fandom either started to focus too much on the last few hours (instead of slowing down?) or yt started to add the views differently. i know that for fake love many people (including me) panicked a bit at the end and streamed a lot because of the 24h record and maybe others did the same for idol to "increase the gap" in case youtube deletes views? i would prefer our rate stayed slowing down, and having a smaller 24h number, than all these deletions/freezes so if this is the reason i hope things can return to how they used to be lol
  10. ik people have already talked about yt views for many pages but i really wonder why the view pattern changed with fake love/idol? Click here to view the Tweet seeing this that first day i noticed how fake love's graph had the weird increase of views towards the end, after the view rate first started decreasing...when the same thing started to happen with idol i already got worried many views would be deleted tbh. there might be no correlation but idk, i think if that increase didn't happen at the end fake love probably would have ended up with the # of 24h views it "officially" got (after deletion). anyway after big accounts emphasized that we need to stream like ~normal people~ i thought there would be a change but i guess not. personally i barely streamed on yt this time
  11. idk maybe those of us that liked dna/dna mv probably had more hope i guess lol i just hope idol has the same fate
