The promotion period was so short that I'm left super unsatisfied Solo works are nice but I really missed watching the group dynamics/their amazing chemistry, y'know? I'll take literally anything tho and I can't wait to jam to Sunny's duet! She's become my favorite and I adore her so much. (btw does anyone know why I can't vote for anyone in the poll? Hello fellow Sunshiners! It's my first time posting here but I've really liked Sunny for a while. This comeback has been making me fall in love with her once again, she's overtaking Sooyoung as my ultimate bias. It's so nice seeing her laugh and being her witty, adorable self. She's gorgeous and I love her laugh, her voice, her wit, her aegyo, her maturity and her badassasfuckery Looking forward to the dinner episode with Yuri and her new show! btw does anyone know how to change this tweet gif into an actual copy paste-able gif? Also, from what I've gathered, Park Jiyoon has donated her prize money to victims of violent crimes and their families. What a queen! It hasn't been a week and I'm missing CS3 so much already. Hope we don't have to wait two years for another season.

I'm gonna write more thoughts about Crime Scene because I'm bored and still obsessed idk if anyone will bother to read through my massive wall of text LOL Favorite Episode: 3, I loved having Hani and NS Yoon-G back! The callbacks and the chemistry was really great. I also thought the closed room case of Episode 6 was really fun. Best Deductions: Park Jiyoon/Jang Jin. They're both really good at piecing together evidence to form storylines, even if they turn out to be wrong. Sometimes their confirmation bias may cause them to pick the wrong criminal. Park Jiyoon has great intuition, asks sharp questions and is pretty observant. Jang Jin, when he's right, usually nails the case on the head though, his discovery of Lady Jung's identity was amazing. Best Deductions (guest): Pyo Changwon, I was really impressed with his thoroughness and ability to remain impartial even when the evidence seems to point overwhelmingly in one direction. Best Acting: Another hard one, I'll choose Park Jiyoon/Jang Jin again. Jiyoon is super melodramatic (which can get too over-the-top if no one plays along with her) and pulls off all her characters well. She was entertaining even as the detective, and stands out by herself. Jang Jin's humor is more subtle usually, but he's hilarious when he gets to play characters like DJ Jang and Director Jang (the drunk guy). Best Acting (guests): Jang Dongmin, I really missed his slapstick comedy and one-liners, from the "no, I think that's enough because this isn't even a real case" to his "I'M 21 YEARS OLD! I HAVE NO LOGIC!" He proves himself as a veteran and made me really miss his chemistry with Hong Jinho and Park Jiyoon in Season 2. I missed seeing this face: Best Chemistry: Park Jiyoon x Yang Sehyung in Episode 3 was my favorite couple, with the cringey lovey-dovey acts and accusing each other while staying in character. I also really enjoyed Eunji x Jihoon in the last episode, they were so cute! Probably a bit too early to say, but hopes for S4 if it comes: The must-haves imo Park Jiyoon: I've shown my love for her before, but I really think she's the heart of Crime Scene. She has kind of a strong woman aura that is refreshing to see on male-dominated variety shows, is sharp in her deductions and has great variety sense. Being an MC for 11+ years, she has a lot of experience and leadership, and it shows in her ability to build chemistry with pretty much everyone. She killed it in Season 3, but I miss her characters in Season 2 which were iconic. I'm sad that she didn't get the chance to play more couples/young pretty roles, because she shines the most in those. Though I somewhat get the feeling that she's getting bored with Crime Scene, I really hope she returns if there's a Season 4. Jang Jin: He's insanely brilliant and I'm glad they kept him for Season 3. Like I mentioned earlier, his humor is more of the subtle, sarcastic type but it makes for a hilarious contrast whenever he's playing ridiculous characters like DJ Jang and Director Jang, in which he easily steals the show. He's great in his deductions but he isn't as much of a "team-player" imo. He tends to go off on his own looking for evidence and has a harder time convincing/gaining the attention of the rest of the cast. I really hope he returns for S4 too. Hong Jinho: His absence in the early portion of S3 was really noticeable, I'm glad they brought him back for the last half. Along with Jiyoon, I think he's the heart of Crime Scene. He's sharp in his deductions and his iconic mumble mumble leaves a lot of room open for an easy tease and is a great way to lighten the mood. He is able to think independently and make his own deductions instead of building off the ideas of others. He also has really solid chemistry with everyone, especially Park Jiyoon and Jang Dongmin. ---- I think Crime Scene should keep their 3-2 male:female ratio; it's a good balance. Male: Jang Dongmin: I like his slapstick style comedy and his iconic "criminal face" makes for another easy tease to lighten the mood. He just makes the atmosphere really comfortable and his rivalry with Jinho was a highlight of S2. He's cunning, charismatic, and a fantastic criminal. Kim Jihoon: He's had some of the most iconic characters so far, Innocent Kim and Pianist Kim are hilarious and he pulls them off amazingly. He meshes well with the cast and has had great deductions this season (though I miss when he used more of the people-reading techniques like he did in S2 to Dongmin). I also like Yang Sehyung, especially as his nature man role, but I rather see him as a guest. Female: Hani: She's really bubbly and her reactions/laugh really lighten the mood of the show, especially whenever she breaks character. I love her determination to find evidence and the carefree vibe that she brings to the show. She also has great rapport with the cast. I wish that she had guested for more than just one episode. I'd love to have Eunji and NS Yoon-G return as well! If they were looking for a new female idol to cast, I think Sojin is a good candidate. She fit in really well with the cast even as a first timer. Her loveline with Jang Jin and her satoori were cute and she showed a good type of stubbornness that works for this show.

Episodes 3 is my favorite! It has Hani and NS Yoon G back (though no Eunji ) Episodes 3, 6, 11, and 12 are the ones I enjoyed the most. 7/8 is really funny as well, with the most iconic one-liner from the whole season. Though there are lots of references to previous episodes especially in the last ep, so you may be missing out if you skip some episodes.

I'm so shook rn, I can't believe it's over. What am I supposed to watch now to fill the void? Hoping that we won't have to wait 2 years for S4...

Thanks for the stats! Though Park Jiyoon has been the detective twice, on episodes 6 and 7. Predictions:

As Jang Jin said before in one of the earlier episodes I think, winning the most money is about getting away with being the criminal, which kinda involves some luck given the difficulty of the case. I was also hesitant to try watching S3 given the really high bar that S2 had set, but the cast has really grown on me too. It's sad that they end the season whenever the cast gets really close with each other. I wish that both S2 and S3 members will come back too but that'll be too big of a sacrifice plot wise (details, background, fleshing out the characters so that multiple people have motives/fishy alibis). It'll end up like S1 where you had at least one character that was almost immediately ruled out solely by one piece of evidence. I'm up for having the old members as returning guests though.

Episode 11 Thoughts: $$ Rankings as of Episode 11 $$: The next case has all 6 members of the cast back! I'm both anticipating and dreading the last episode, the end is nearrrrr.

I can't believe I only found these series a few days ago, I binged my way through the previous seasons and am now halfway through S3, I love it so much! Park Jiyoon is a delight to watch. Will this season be 13 episodes as well? Really hoping that they'll bring back some of the S2 cast for a future episode/special!

Super late but is there still a way to watch Sooyoung's SNL skits? I wanted to see the 23 personalities one but all the full links have been taken down. I love the return of Sooyoung's weird aegyo and the Cristina imitations, I didn't think I'd ever get to see those again <3 I'm super happy about Sooyoung's new drama! Can't wait for her to silence those K-Netz with her amazing acting again.
