I'm so glad that Semmi and Dana are rising, they deserve it! I really wish Saebyeol and Haena had made it farther though, especially Haena. She's one of the best singers (did so well on YTB stage), is rly pretty, and I really like her sense of humor. Though I like all of them! I've liked Saebyeol since her weekly idol dance thing, Semmi is super likable and incredibly pretty, and though I haven't seen Dana that much she gives me good vibes and I've watched her Cosmos fancam a bunch of times. I think I'll make it easier on myself and start stanning Matilda. Wishing more success to these ladies, my UB arthritis auntie, and everybody else on The Unit! This is my first and probably only time watching a survival show but I've gotten so attached to everybody.

Right now I'm watching Jiwon's "The Fairies in My Arms/Larva Park" children show because I'm still a sucker for kids' stuff heh That "It's Raining Men" cover is one of my favorite SPICA things of all time! Jiwon's low notes is eargasm-worthy. I hope she continues to show her talents on The Unit! The comments on Naver make me really happy - they all talk about how she sounds really stable/amazing, is really pretty and cute, and fits the concept well. I hope she gets more praises!

Hello guys! I've been lurking here for a while but I had to post today because of Boa's birthday!! Happy Birthday Boa! I'm a pretty new SPICA fan! Jiwon's audition on The Unit moved me a lot and I became a fan instantly after watching their lives. Everything about them is my style and I'm sad that I didn't hear about them earlier. (I kind of ran out of SPICA things to watch already though, so if someone could recommend me more vids I'd be very appreciative!) I'm currently watching The Unit and rooting hard for Jiwon! I hope she makes it into top 9 because she deserves everything Edit: I just watched Jiwon's Poco a Poco fancam and I'm kinda surprised at how mature (?) her voice sounds. She's always had the highest-pitched/girliest voice in SPICA but her voice sounds very full compared to the kids'

I'm sorry guys for the incoming cheesy emotional rant: It's been about 12 hours since I first read the news this morning and my heart feels shattered. I tried hard not to think about it because I had to go through school, but now that there's time for the whole thing to sink in... It hurts so, so much. I'm not like the other SONEs who have followed SNSD for years and years. I've only been a stan for about 2 years, but to me SNSD still feels like my childhood, like I grew up with them. It pains me that I've not been able to be with them through their highs and lows, as I started stanning pretty much at the start of their 2 year hiatus/through the botched 10th anniversary promos, and now this. I know I'm being selfish and the girls have given up so much for us over the past 10 years. It's hard for me to accept and to let go. I hope SNSD will be happy going forward. They deserve all the happiness in the world. It pains me that people call it the end of an era. It is so, but it's also the start of a new world. A new world without SNSD seems bleak, but SONEs are not alone. It's something precious SNSD will do with us, will protect, until the very end. Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun. "Nine people who are very different from each other have now become one." Now, In the Future, Forever, Girls' Generation. I've been thinking about this recently too! I love the sweetness of her natural voice, it's distinct and pure like cotton candy. It's easy to pick out her voice in almost any SNSD song. Her versatility and ability to change her vocal color to suit different genres is one of the things I admire most about her. I'm probably one of the only other people who like her higher-pitched aegyo voice as well. I get that people prefer it when she doesn't sing with aegyo, but a lot of them tend to go "I hate her fake aegyo voice but she sings so well in her REAL voice, just listen to her lines in Genie or You Think!" And while her lines in Genie and You Think make me melt like any other Sunshiner (especially Genie, oh. my. yes.), it's easy to tell that her lower register is her weakest and most unsupported register. There are several performances I've watched where she loses almost all projection because the notes are just too low for her voice type. Her head voice, on the other hand, is so smooth, developed, and gorgeous. Her voice is just naturally high-pitched and I don't get why some people feel the need to put down her cutesy voice to prove that "she actually can sing". Anyway, aegyo-voice or not, her lines are iconic. DO YOU KNOW ADABANA???

I'm super late getting my feelings out bc I've been thinking about it for a while now, but reading this makes me almost tear up: "After myself, the members know best how hard it is on me." She's been through so much these past few years and every time I see past vids of her eyes looking blank/lifeless or past comments of people bashing her my heart breaks all over again. I can't express in words how glad I am to see her so happy this comeback! Just her smile brightens up my entire day <3 Even though we didn't get to see much of SNSD as a group during this comeback, I'm really grateful for every moment. Especially for all of the gifs of Sunny being cute/laughing and meme Soonkyu <3 And that hair. Bless whoever suggested that hair.

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of Sunny too, but I don't think it's JYP's fault. Apparently they edited out the part where JYP told Sunny she was pretty and that it was different seeing her outside of SNSD.

kinda off topic and tbh it's been like 3 weeks but I'm still constantly rewatching Hyoyeon and Sunny's instagram live they're so hilarious and entertaining even when I understand like 0.1% of what they're saying really makes me wish that we'll have Channel Soshi 2.0 or some kind of show where we get to see all the members here's to more Soshi activity (hopefully)!
