  1. It's CLASS:y's CEO On their official account, she uploads the picture taken with the members "CLASS:y's CEO Jo Yihyun, filled August comeback with BAE173" Mediaplay She even follows them in their official events and has her pictures taken by journalists "I'm a ELSE. I'm just frustrated because ever since CLASS:y was formed, [BAE173] has been on the flop path And I feel so sorry for BAE173 Jo YiHyun should decide properly whether she wants to be a celebrity or a producer seriously she's always appearing on broadcast through her acquaintances and never works. She only takes care of her image. Ah seriously I'm so pissed off" Honestly, she's not even good at her work, they have no self-made content, the MV quality sucks, they don't use paid interaction platforms, no Vlive and only release title tracks She never listens to the fans' feedback and most fans have quit the fandom original post: here 1. I thought she was a memeberㅋㅋㅋ 2. Because of that person, I actually ended up quitting the fandom after a few yearsㅇㅇ 3. 2. Well hina is their Japanese member and I’m sure they’re keeping her for when they do their japan promos
  3. So the speculation is cube wants to give lightsum a more mature concept and since Huiyeon and Jian are the only minors in the group, that’s apparently the reason they got the axe this whole situation is just sad and just shows cube’s incompetence
  4. The members of OMEGA Xreportedly had to purchase their own flights home while police were dispatched to their hotel rooms after their flights were cancelled. According to an exclusive report from SBS News, the members of OMEGA X alongside one manager were finally able to board a flight to return home to Korea on October 24. Originally, the members were scheduled to leave on October 23 following their concert in Los Angeles, but a representative from the company cancelled their flight ticket and the group was stranded in Los Angeles. As a result of this, the members were reportedly forced to purchase their flight tickets home using their own money, and some members had to have their parents help them with the airfare costs, which are priced on average ₩975,000 KRW (about $675 USD). Even after the cancellation of their flight, Spire Entertainment‘s CEO Kang Seong Hee reportedly still caused commotion with the members. SBS reported that she was confronted by hotel security due to causing commotion in the hotel hallway, continuously knocking on the doors of the hotel rooms the members were staying. They also noted that it was belatedly made known that the local police were dispatched to the hotel twice. Earlier, it was reported that Spire Entertainment’s CEO was caught verbally and physically abusing a member of the group. Later, a video of the incident was released by SBS, and the group’s friends have also called out Kang Seong Hee. Source
  5. Spire Entertainment recently tried to shrug off allegations of physical and verbal abuse of OMEGA X by the company’s CEO, responding that it was all some kind of misunderstanding. However, SBS has just released video evidence of the CEO abusing member Jaehan. In the video, the CEO insults the group and then moves to berating Jaehan, who seemed to be having some kind of panic attack. When member Taedong tried to step in, the CEO continued yelling before grabbing Jaehan and seemingly pushing him down. After finishing a post-performance dinner, Kang said to the OMEGA X members, “Why do you think XXs like you deserve to be loved by people? XXs who don’t know what it means to be loved are loved. I know how XXing calculated you are.” Kang yelled at member Jaehan, who was sitting down with symptoms of panic, saying, “Get up. If you get sick like this every day, stop being an idol. […] CEO Kang said, “I know how many times I fell. It hurts to death. I made it all night even if it hurts to death.” They continued to force Jaehan to stand up. “I know how many times I stumbled. I was so sick I could’ve died. Even though I was so sick I could’ve died, I worked all night.” It is reported that CEO Kang’s abusive language continued even after arriving at the hotel. When Taedong tried to move Jaehan, Kang shouted, “You all did this to me. When I was having such a hard time, did you take care of me?” Taedong defended by saying, “He’s on the verge of collapsing.” As he protested, Kang said, “I’ve already collapsed.” They then pulled Jaehan’s collar and knocked him down on the ground. He is then seen weeping as he rises back to his feet. When SBS contacted the company about the video, they ran the same playbook of victimizing themselves and downplaying the incident. SBS contacted Kang for a telephoned statement, where they denied the allegations of abuse, saying, “I never yelled at the members nor did I assault them. […] Both Jaehan and I collapsed. I was really sad, so I asked, ‘Did you guys protect me? Did you protect me when I was having such a hard time?'” Of course, the video only legitimized the fan’s account and audio of the incident, in addition to a non-fan’s witness report about the CEO verbally abusing OMEGA X. Thus, I’m honestly not sure what the company is doing here now that video is out as well. She’s talking about this like it was some kind of mutual combat situation and not just her abusing a person clearly in a fragile state. The worrisome thing is how this is going to play out because unless the company is somehow shamed into releasing them from their contracts or the CEO steps down, they’ll still have control over the group in this utterly toxic work environment. Hopefully it works out for them in the end somehow. Source
  6. It was reported that OMEGA Xcanceled their originally scheduled flight back to Korea. According to an exclusive media report, OMEGA X members were scheduled to fly back to Korea on the morning of October 23rd from LA but they canceled their reservation after the abuse allegations arose online. While the members did not board the said flight, other staff members who were working with them throughout the tour returned to Korea on the said flight. Regarding this, Spire Entertainment CEO stated, "We have been discussing canceling the reservations for 3 days because the members could be onboard with fans. It's not true we have stranded the members in the U.S." He continued, "The allegations were made by an anti-fan. I was frustrated because I have been working hard, pulling all-nighters but they wouldn't acknowledge or care for it. But I usually treat our members respectfully." Meanwhile, the label released an official statement regarding the recent allegations that the label's CEO was abusing the members, saying all misunderstandings have been resolved. Source
  7. Following the conclusion of their world tour yesterday, everything seemed normal in OMEGA X’s world as the group celebrated things on Twitter. Unfortunately, soon after a fan emerged with allegations that they caught the group’s CEO physically and verbally assaulting the group, and gave their account, “Guys, I was waiting for the Uber that I called outside and I saw the company CEO hitting the members. I really didn’t know what to do since my hands were shaking so much. They were being hit right in front of me but I couldn’t do anything.“ The one thing I found odd was that in addition to this tweet, the media reports on this seem to identity the perpetrator as the CEO, who is a man, but in the voice recording it sounds like a woman. Hence, I chalked it up to company staff or maybe a manager instead of the CEO. Regardless, if this is them being talked to, it’s incredibly fucked up. Additionally, from over three weeks ago, another person came forward about OMEGA X being yelled at in public. That sounds like an absolute nightmare and the fact that there’s other confirmation of this just makes it seem worse, not only because it adds to the likelihood that this is true but also because it sounds like just a regular thing. When Spire Entertainment was contacted for comment, Spire said that they are unable to connect with them since they’re in the United States. They are still in the United States so we are unable to get into contact with them. We will make our position clear as soon as we can confirm the situation. As if phones and the Internet don’t work or something. It’s much more likely that they need time to prepare a response. Either way, hopefully OMEGA X find a way to escape these conditions, though they might be less likely to risk it since this is their second chance group for most of them and perhaps the company is taking advantage of that. 8. It has been revealed that a popular Facebook page 'Idol Issue', a page known for posting various content related to Korean entertainment including general news, as well as rumors, controversies, etc, was owned by Kakao Entertainment. Typically, a social media platform owned and run by an entertainment company would be infringing on copyright laws by posting watermarked photos or videos, such as those copyrighted by other media outlets. However, through 'Idol Issue', it's been revealed that Kakao Entertainment has been garnering likes and follows with largely unfiltered activity. Furthermore, the Facebook page has been known to crop out watermarks or logos indicating original sources of photos and videos, further infringing on copyright laws and abusing "viral marketing" techniques. Kakao Entertainment is currently under heavy fire for using images, videos, and content without consent from owners, considering that Kakao is considered a giant in the IP business industry. Many netizens are currently raising issues over suspicions that Kakao could have used this Facebook page for "viral marketing" purposes to benefit artists affiliated with the company. Kakao is known to be affiliated with the following entertainment agencies: IST Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, EDAM Entertainment, Flex M, High UP Entertainment, and Antenna. Meanwhile, the 'Idol Issue' Facebook page has now been deleted. Source
  9. The film 'To Evil,' which was anticipated as Park Yoo Chun's comeback to the entertainment industry in Korea, will not be able to premiere. Park Yoo Chun garnered attention after announcing in September that he would be making a comeback with the film for the first time in 4 years. For the past few years, Park Yoo Chun has been embroiled in various lawsuits, including his drug charges and the lawsuit filed by his former agency. During the lawsuit with the former agency, the court ordered a broadcast appearance ban on the celebrity, preventing him from promoting in South Korea. 'To Evil' was scheduled to premiere this month in October, but the theater release was canceled. Park Yoo Chun's plans to make a comeback to Korean broadcasting have fallen through as the court denied his request for the broadcast ban to be lifted. Therefore, the production company decided to release the film on IPTV and other VOD services without having a theater release. Source

Reportedly, both the mother and baby are healthy. An acquaintance of the couple revealed, "Changmin stayed by his wife's side throughout her pregnancy and birth. He expressed his gratitude for his baby's healthy birth." Meanwhile, Changmin surprised many when he announced his marriage to his girlfriend back in 2020. Source

  12. Organizers and artists performing at KAMP LA 2022 predicted it would be “the biggest K-pop event in U.S. history” — but the two-day festival set for Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl this weekend is quickly seeing its plans shift for the worse, causing some to preemptively deem it the “Fyre Festival of K-pop.” Over the last 24 hours, online chatter has intensified that most of the scheduled artists on the KAMP lineup were not photographed departing South Korea from any of its international airports. Adding to the fuel were social media posts from KAMP artists like BamBam and Jeon Somi, both of whom hinted at delays in their travel plans to the U.S. According to a source, an organizer with the festival shared internally on Friday (Oct. 14) that multiple artists were having visa issues and will be unable to perform at KAMP LA 2022 this weekend. In the same internal communication, the organizer said they plan to offer refunds. Of the 15 artists scheduled to perform at KAMP LA, only boy band iKON and soloist Chung Ha have been photographed departing Korea from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport over the last 24 hours. Five members of the boy band Super Junior were also photographed leaving Incheon, but not the full band. Meanwhile, fellow boy band P1Harmony appear to be in the States already, having shared a photograph from their visit to San Diego radio station Channel 93.3 on Friday morning. Three members of girl group aespa are also in the U.S., having attended NCT 127‘s concert at Newark’s Prudential Center on Thursday. A representative for P1Harmony confirmed with Billboard that the band is planning to perform at KAMP, with rehearsals scheduled for Friday. Billboard has reached out to KAMP for an official comment, as well as various reps for artists scheduled to perform. KAMP LA was announced in Augustwith a lineup also including Monsta X, Kai, Zion.T and girl group Lapillus. The mega-concert is a joint production from KAMP Global (the South Korea-based entertainment brand that aims to bring K-pop globally through festivals, live events, immersive experiences and artist representation) and partnership brand Eventim Live Asia. 15. According to an exclusive media outlet report on October 13, the most iconic Halloween party in K-Pop is resuming as a full-fledged, in-person event in 2022! This will mark the first time in approximately 4 years that SM Entertainment's infamous Halloween party resumes in full swing, after a partially remote showcase and photoshoot in 2021. SM Entertainment's annual Halloween party first began as a small, private event for the company's artists and staff in 2012. However, the event soon began garnering public attention as artists brought out their most creative, over-the-top costumes for a chance to win the company's costume contest. The circulation of photos before, during, and after the event became a hot topic online up until 2018, when the SME chose not to hold the annual party in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, artists who win the 'Best Dresser' award at SM Entertainment's annual Halloween party have the honor of making a meaningful donation to charity in their name. Source
