I dislike defense lawyers. Almost as much as I hate evangelical preachers in west Africa and politicians. I get that everyone deserves representation and so the government must provide criminals with court-appointed defenders but I don’t get the private defense lawyers who work in private law firms with the sole purpose of defending criminals. How do you sleep at night with your families knowing you’re responsible for keeping rapists, murderers and serial killers on the streets for money?
