I'm going get yelled at for this but - does anyone remember that scandal from a few years back where an older actress(?) got caught on tape cussing out a younger idol(?) on a boat and everyone was so pissed off at the actress but the staff of the variety show had sort of a "meh" reaction to the whole thing but eventually took action because the public was so mad... and then it came out later the idol had a bad attitude, was constantly showing up late and negging the actress until one day she snapped but the staff were on the actresses side the whole time... All this is reminding me of that scandal but I not sure if I'm just misremembering how everything in that case went down.... but I can't find it to google

I just hope they are investigated as material witnesses and not as suspects. I can't stand the idea of the blame falling solely on these desperate puppets while a company heads slip away unscathed.

I think the problem with Somi was to debut with ITZY she would have to lose privileges she earned as an artist and go back to being a rookie (ie no more personal social medias, no cell phone, no dating, back in debt, ect) And Somi wasn't willing to lose rights she earned but JYP couldn't debut a team where one member has so many more privileges then the others. __ On the topic of PDx101, for that last 2 seasons mnet always put out an article saying "no big 3 trainees" the fact that hasn't happened this season pretty much confirms for me that there will be someone JYP. As for this boy being unknown & clearly new to JYP; Pledis sent Yunjin to PD48 and she's only been training with them for 6 months. Some trainees just require less time then other. I'm sure 99% of trainees that pass through JYP we never hear about until JYP wants you to know about them, or they go to another company and tell you they were previously with JYP. __ Also; I've been gone for a week - can someone catch me up on what we know about the runway?
