  1. That sentence would apply if Moonbyul was the one who's leaving, but the one leaving is one of the girls who carry the weight of most of their songs along with Solar.
  2. This is a better approach than those other so called vocalists do. She's singing with a more headed mix which reduces stress and helps her reach the note easier. It's not sustainable because her range isn't at that point just yet. Good for Joy! I'm hoping to see her taking more challenging lines the next comeback.
  3. Good for her. Let's see how Mamamoo does after this, Hwasa can't sing for her life and Solar will be overwhelmed with so many lines.
  4. Wish they performed a Girls' Generation song
  5. It depends on the spectrum, many vocal scholars would consider relatively high passagios as contraltos, like for example Adele, and even higher passagios as mezzos like Christina Aguilera or Perrie Edwards. But I think most would agree that this girl's a mezzo soprano, it's more noticeable the higher she goes. Her voice starts to think out and her larynx places in a more neutral position. That "very deep" tone at the beginning of the performance is not that low, it's just a very dark made timbre. I loved the performance by the way, very emotive.
  6. Just looked for the charts and Like Water hit 54 in GAON and When This Rain Stops hit 91. So no top 50s for Wendy. Her album did good though.
  7. To all, since all of you mentioned the Seohyun topic, Seohyun is focused on an acting career yes, but during her Girls' Generation era, even though she was pushed as a main vocalist and was indeed the 2nd best right after Taeyeon, she never got the spotlight Tiffany or Jessica had, why? Most likely because of her looks and charisma. As for Perrie, she is very popular, just UK-based so overall yes Ally could be more famous worldwide, but Perrie has a more distinctive role in her group than Ally did.
  8. It's the whole package honey. Look at Perrie Edwards, she's got the looks, the voice and she's charistmatic. I can't say the same about Ally. You have great examples in the K-pop industry, look at how Taeyeon is so successful because she's talented and pretty, and how Seohyun, Wendy and Jihyo never got the attention their vocals deserved.
  9. I know, that's why none of her singles entered the top 50 sadly
  10. Red Velvet only needs another top hit like Psycho or Bad Boy Blackpink will reach top 5 no matter what and nobody cares about twice so what r u talking about
  11. All your idols are rookies and should learn from the best belter I mean supporting notes from A to Z
  12. Right? I mean I didn't know she sang I thought she designed glasses or whatever
  13. I'm sorry Seowhat??? as for Jessica, no, I think Tiffany already surpassed her. Jessica was better in the debut days the thing is she never improved
  14. Ok... instead of "did she?" let's ask ourselves, when did she? Because I think it's been a while since Tiffany started to gain recognition as the best vocalist of SNSD Proof of that is the fact that she is not leading a musical theatre play named CHICAGO, but you should know that by now I mean we all know Taeyeon is good and stuff but has she ever been this good? Leave ur comments below
  15. I was listening to the english version and I'm like "I like the song but it has like 3 lyrics"
  16. YO TAMBIEN de hecho fui pero no entré ese día porque no me interesaba ningun grupo todavia no comprendia lo que era red velvet (?)
  17. ayyyy ya nada mas les falta su gira por latinoamerica y voy a ser muy feliz
