done. sorry i was just trying to let i-netz have better understanding about the situation on both sides

i am not taking their side. Like hell no, Tzuyu or TWICE didn't deserve such treatment. but i think it's good to know those cnetz are not just bunch of unreasonable bullies. They are still wrong for bullying a little girl, and can be too sensitive at times, but they are not unreasonable. We can say and have our opinion in Taiwan and China issue, but no matter what we're still outsider on that matter and we shouldn't belittle the two sides' opinion. especially when you want to be accepted by the other side (like how JYPE wanted Tzuyu as taiwanese to be accepted by chinese market). All i'm trying to say is, we are here as Tzuyu's supporters, not China or Taiwan's supporters. Tzuyu might be a taiwanese. but if JYPE and Tzuyu wanted to be accepted there in chinese market, they have to play by their rules. Of course i don't want Tzuyu to deny her homeland too, but hey, if it's not for this huang an guy, i'm pretty sure she could be accepted in the market well as a proud taiwanese. Look at those successful taiwanese entertainers in China.

ok so i talked to one of my chinese friend that was born and raised there about this problem. She doesn't follow korean idol that much, and she didn't know about this whole controversy before i told her (she knew there're band called TWICE but didn't follow them). I discussed this whole controversy with her, and she even helped me obvserving and translate some stuffs from weibo. These are what she told me: - She didn't know about Huang An before, but after doing a little bit of research, she told me this Huang An guy seems like trying to disturb Taiwan and China relation in purpose (by stirring things up like this) - Even though Huang An was the one who started gathering the mass haters, chinese people are already irritated by some taiwanese posts in Tzuyu's facebook fan page. There are posts like "Tzuyu, the light of taiwan is a taiwanese. She is not chinese. Taiwan is an independent country." So you can say, what Huang an did was pouring the oil to bunch of small fires. - After what Huang An did, people started to gathering the evidences about Tzuyu bein a pro-independence and posting stuffs that will prove their accusation. (Here, I told her about the misunderstanding about the flag on MLT to her) - Unlike other taiwanese singers (Henry and Amber), Tzuyu never admit her chinese blood. Apparently the other two did (but i'm not so sure because i'm not too familiar with them). - And here is the deal breaker. Someone posted something about what Tzuyu said on interview in Beijing. Apparently, Tzuyu said something like this, "There're many fans in china that voted for me. I'm really thankful." (maybe she was talking about sixteen era) so, here is the explanation why she's not suppose to say that. According to what my friend told me, only foreigners (people that actually came from outside China) are allowed to say that. Usually it's more appropriate for people from places like Hongkong or Taiwan to refer the country as Mainland to avoid controversy like this. So i asked her if there're cnetz that actually defend her on weibo. She told me there are some cnetz that still supporting her. And the number grows as time passed by. There are comment like 'maybe we're getting too sensitive.' Even my friend told me that she doesn't blame Tzuyu because her young age might be the reason why she could be inconsiderate at these political issue and careless at times. My friend just hope that Tzuyu, as public figure will be more careful in the future. Hope you guys understand the situation better now The fire might die soon... I just hope we all stop rubbing salt on each other (especially taiwanese fans and cnetz), let Tzuyu out of this mess so the girl can shine brighter than anyone else *although i still think it's unfair they treated her this bad because of her tiny mistake that i doubt she did on purpose*

I just can't.... no matter how strong Tzuyu is, she is just a 16 year old kid. Someone posted something like this before : "Tzuyu doesn't like crying in public. Whenever she feels like crying, she would cry ALONE in private place." And the image of her crying alone for something she didn't even do breaks my heart. I hope the other members support her. ...and I hope whoever started this controversy against her will go to hell, or wherever he/she came from. I understand the issue between China and Taiwan is very sensitive. So does Tzuyu. That's why Tzuyu never said anything about her view regarding the issue (she is an entertainer for god sake). I hope both parties, China and Taiwan will stop using her as political tools. Even better, apologize for trying to ruin a little girl's life! and please, i hope someone would give those Cnetz haters some senses to see the truth. Tzuyu fighting! Jia You! If you read this, please know that your fans understand that you didn't do anything wrong and will always have your back. Like Kelly Clarkson said, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

I found this very funny. I am an indonesian with chinese ancestry in my blood. but since my birth place and nationality is indonesia, everytime foreigners (including chinese people) asked me 'what am i' (as in, 'where i came from') i always answer them, 'i am indonesian'. And no one complain about this. Because they know i was born and raised there, not in China. The same goes with my chinese born american friends. They call themselves american, unless people questioning their ancestor blood. It's basically the same question people pointed at Tzuyu. I don't get why they make a big deal out of it

i feel like she's getting prettier every day! she was just a charming girl in sixteen (for me), and now, she's become so gorgeous! she's remind me of suzy. i first saw her on dream high and i thought, "what a pretty girl!", then i saw her the second time on gu family book and i was like, "i just saw a fairy!" can't wait to see her growing up into a goddess! btw, off topic. i was trying to use gif as my profile picture but idk why my gif become motionless after i upload it :(

she looks amazing i know that jype is pushing tzuyu to have sexy concept more than this pure and fresh concept (I think they want nayeon in that department), but seeing this, i can't help but thinking that tzuyu can totally pull this concept! in fact, i love this one the best (among her other concepts)!

Hello everyone! I am new here... both in OH and Tzuyu thread. tbh I'm not a hardcore kpop fan. I'm more like a fan of korean dramas and movies. But then I saw sixteen and fell for Tzuyu's charms (She looks like my favorite pokemon lol). I found OH while looking for information about her. I never thought I would become a fan of an idol and Tzuyu changed my mind! (I love Suzy, but I found her on dream high so...) Anyway, I have been following this thread for a while and finally decided to create my own account! btw, how do i get badges?
