1. You read Korean or did you use google translate/bing that 50% of the time butchers the translation?
2. Just to be clear. The thoughts I have are mine alone, they're not supposed to rile people up or to get people up in arms. Cuz even I know that I might be thinking wrong and that I have a skewed view of whatever happened this week. Is it a big deal, is it not? A shower of disheartening comments, a great deal of loving and supportive ones. Are things OK? Should we not worry? I'm still happy Sana didn't take the post down but my heart is uneasy because of the aftermath.
3. So, I'm late. But I think this time It felt good to digest things before digging into the meat. Not really a first impression anymore but nonetheless. MV: The MV starts off very strong, it's mystical, cool maybe a lil sexy (?) but after a while I can see that this is a classic Twice MV with the members being the masters of their own confined box. It's a good MV nothing much to complain about, in hindsight even the things I do think could've been improved on or changed such as lighting and colors used and the inclusion of "retro-ish" outfits; Is not really a major deal-breaker in my eyes. There are some very impactful scenes in here too, picking some off the top of my head I have to say the dubchaeng part, Chaeyoung's cat-walk really exudes attitude in this MV and whilst Dahyun isn't really doing much in her scene I really liked the stopmotion-like effect they had for a split-second. Also Mina as always she knows what she's doing is all I can say. This time you can confidently and accurately say that Chaeyoung did more than good and she was utilized well. It's almost unheard of to be quite frank. MV is more than acceptable and fits quite well retaining Twice's style but this time with a slight aesthetic change. For the song: Going the good ol' BEP route fusing genres with very colorful electronic sounds, a solid tight mix paired with highly addictive vocal hooks and beautiful chords. This might be the apex of KPOP to be honest. All I could think of when listening to this is that the vocal direction, how the melody is composed is really spot on. There was no moment where I was "huh that was weird" or "those are some bad lines". I am realizing how good some of these lines are especially when the pre-chorus starts hitting you paired with the change in chord progression and piano/guitar elements, Sana-Tzuyu combo. The half-time section for the second verse is also a welcome switch-up to then quickly going back to the good ol' "4 to the floor" beat with that sliding synth bass. Now the chorus Is definitely catchy honestly BEP to me never disappoints, to be able to constantly pump out these jamming songs indefinitely. When I heard that BEP made Apink's recent titles I knew that I was going to be in for a treat. Shit's ca$h. While I didn't expect the song to go this route for the chorus it more than satisfied me cuz of how tasty these chords are. BEP always seems to have this tradition when it comes to Twice to have these wistful chords that really really latch on to you, Cheer Up, TT, Likey, this is peak BEP. The "post"-chorus with the strings going crazy in the background is also really cool. While the tradition of keeping the song in a high key is still here, the song is more than enjoyable to listen to. Some things they could've improved on is def some of the clutteriness in the chorus. While it might be kinda hard to hear there's alot of things going on in the mids especially in the first part of the chorus, IMO they could've kept it more open and let it breath more cuz it does feel a lil crowded with that lead synth going everywhere together with that synth playing those chords. Also the last chorus after the bridge doesn't really have as much impact as I wished for. Some of the adlibs are very subtle and are barely heard in the background, it does seem like BEP can never beat how good TT's last chorus was by switching up the member singing and with how good those adlibs were. Album: *exists* Me: damn this shit good Yeah, TOP ramen of Twice albums fo sho. Could've been longer, I think if it was a full album with more songs and slight variety it would be the best cuz some songs on here are slappin'. Stuck In My Head: Starting off with some real fire and laying out the expectations that the album is all gonna be ca$h money, might've heard this type of song elsewhere but regardless the classic brassy "synth" is always going to be good stuff. Good edge to this song. Girls Like Us: Classic Charli XCX sound. Staccato piano with that good ol' washed out "WHOAA OUHH oH OUH" vocals going on. Def iconic. Pretty good song, pretty short. Should've been longer also maybe it's a stylistic choice, most def but the vocals being stuck so far in the back at the chorus not really digging it, maybe could've pushed them forward more cuz they do sound a lil washy. HOT: The vocal direction, the drums, the beat, the "Huu huu", the "hot hot huu huu". Rarely do you hear Twice sing like this and when I barely noticed that it was Tzuyu singing damn son. Big ups. Low range vocals, a rare sight. Turn It Up: Groovy as heck, funky guitar slapping like hell. This feels the most KPOP out of all the b-sides on here to me. Strawberry: Well I haven't read the lyrics but i'm pretty sure they're singing about Strawberries. Thank you Chaeyoung. Real feel good song. Does feel like I've heard something similar before but that doesn't really take away from it. Classic b-side. The album def takes much inspiration from western music especially by the way the vocals are sung. Whether or not I think this is a good change or not? As long as the songs are slappin', they can do whatever they want. A good development if you value change. Some songs on here def do not stray too far away from their recent titles or b-sides so it's the best of both worlds. New fans and old fans can both join the listening party and not get disappointed. Yeah that's it. Solid good comeback /10, Mini-album is tight, Title track is great. I'd say this one is pushing out TT and is up there with WIL. I want to say that overall this comeback is a like an 8/10 almost but as of now I still cant push away that WIL because of that superior MV so this comeback gets a I dunno 7.9/10 Round it up to 8 if you want. Also SOTY 2019
4. Choreo's hitting the beat constantly, no downtime, tons of slick formations, it's suave and fast, fitting the song perfectly. Everyone's doing something and playing off each other, one is going left the other is going right, one goes high the other goes low. Probably the best Twice choreo for sure, damn what a nice looking performance.
5. When BEP produces the majority of Twice's title tracks and people are being surprised they kept "Twice's colour".
6. Looking forward to tomorrow guys Have a quick instrumental!

8. Well BTS trended third at release and is still trending 3rd here in Sweden as of right now. Does it really matter? Surely doesn't look like that's what JYP is shooting for even if that's what they wanted. Sent from my VIE-AL10 using Tapatalk
9. Sorry I sound like a broken record but I love this song to bits Click here to view the Tweet
10. Don't mind me, just getting up to speed on uploading the instrumentals to Youtube aswell
11. Just an "instrumental" for Fancy, slapped it on some project I had lying around https://soundcloud.com/user-847029880/twice-fancy-teaser-prelude-instrumental
12. You know what, I saw someone on here (or was it discord?) that were really excited and was hoping for a Charli XCX type song for Twice, and I was like: "Yeah right, in your dreams maybe".
13. Are we going to pretend as if Charli XCX is not a big deal? bruh i dont care how good the song is BEP, leave room for Girls Like Us to be the title track for gods sake
14. I started using the sig after Momo and Tzuyu's "pabo 1 and pabo 2" Cheer Up era vlive haha
