I get the impulse to slow down, but honestly if I was running their career I would recommend the same quick strategy. I gather that the success of Knock was somewhat surprising to them, and I believe there is a short window to capitalize on it.

This is exactly my read on the situation. I believe in the concept that everyone is fundamentally bisexual, and that a person that is otherwise completely straight can have that latent bisexuality awakened by a person that they become close to. It is entirely possible that this applies to Kyungil. As for Yijeong, I do believe that he is gay, and only does the bare minimum to hide it. It seems in Korea a well placed "I don't like men" can last a lifetime, though.

Yes I always skip the song when it comes up. The sad thing is that it's totally unnecessary. They could have stopped after the world's biggest fanclub but, but instead they chose to erase a large portion of that very same fanclub.

I have watched the ideal type bit before, but I just watched the whole thing. He is freakin adorable, and they all seem so comfortable with each other. I wish I liked their songs better.

I have officially added Yijeoung to my personal list of idols who are most likely gay. I think he revels in hiding in plain sight. So bold, but he knows that many people will just take it as fan service or joking. Wow the Monsta X anti's are really out in force lately.

I think that the general consensus is that Save Me is sort of directly written for the fans as opposed to from a relationship stand point. I think that makes it doubly lovely that the didn't use girls every other word. There is a Super Junior song "From 'U" that starts off with the spoken (English) words "This is dedicated to the world's biggest fan club. The ELF. My girls, my angels". I love Super Junior, but that makes me feel so excluded as a male fan. The fact that BTS didn't feel the need to go out of their way to do that deserves some credit.

Yes you are correct he looks a little uncomfortable, but really that is very mild teasing especially within the context of Kpop.. See that's the thing. I'm not looking to Kpop for representation of my community. That would be the very definition of a fool's errand. I just find the MV to be well made and vague enough that you can take a potentially nice message from it. I even one person in Korea (or elsewhere) sees it and says, oh the must really love each other, and that's ok, then there has been a great service done.

Any plans to offer receipts, or were you just planning to level accusations. I will not claim to have seen everything they have ever done, but what I have seen has been cute, and I don't feel as if anything has been problematic. I'm sure you will enlighten me if that is not the case.

Good Lord, Yijeoung, keep it together. I was looking back through his Instagram, and there is a lot of suspect stuff there, but I can't figure out how to get it here on my iPad. I love to learn about others, and the only way to do that is through polite discourse and understanding of others life experiences.

Ok so OT, but watching that episode, I have to wonder, does Amber bind, or is she just naturally very flat. I know the topic of who might be trans is very touchy, but if she binds then that's pretty obvious.
