  1. The thing is I haven't noticed Haena being able to support in the fifth octave at all, all I hear is tension. Same thing goes for Semmi, especially the 2:24 F5 you pointed out, it is VERY very strained and tense. 3:14 even Haena's Bb4's lack full muscle control. They are all belty, but they all push to belt. I don't hear any of them handling their mixes without tension in the fifth octave. 1:58 at least Semmi does support Bb4. They all seem to support, or be average vocalists. 1:04 her C5's ain't that bad either when she mixes lightly. 0:21 She is the rapper right? She hasn't established a sense of support yet.

Their performances had me thinking that one of them had to be around a proficient vocalist. I guess they're just good at making the most of their abilities. Thanks!

  2. Alright let's see if I top like this

Alright, first of all, happy 800 pages!!!!!!!

Second of all, sorry for posting 3 times in a row :derp:

And third, it looks like April has a special event planned related to their Makestar, I assume!

From my extremely limited Korean knowledge, the highlighted area refers to it being some sort of signing event?

  3.

Now, one would assume that I would point out the main vocal of the group, Haena, here, but I want to shift focus to the lead vocal Semmi, the blonde. She has an impressive belting range, and her notes seem supported, at least to me. She belts and holds F5 straight out of nowhere at 2:24, and from then on she was in charge of singing harmonizing notes above the register. I would be asking about Haena if her belted high notes sounded less unsteady, and this is a song all about belting. So how do you think Semmi did?

This group is super talented, they all hold their own vocally, even the rapper could be a lead vocal.
