What a DAY in the twitterverse I had yesterday! BamBam liked my tweet and Yugyeom made an account. And I reacted to the latter much more strongly I know twitter is going to be super overwhelming for Yug with his limited english (and he's not nearly as tech-savvy/sns-savvy as Bam) but I'm just so happy to have an account to @ with my ridiculous declarations of pride and support whenever the group has activities. And hopefully this means more selfies!! And more delightful meme trolling between him and Bam!! This made me so so so so happy, NE is my JAM and american birdies aren't known for strength in fanchants, this was a HUGE improvement and I was so proud! Mexico looked like it went amazingly well! Also, HADDY'S TURN IS COMING SOON FINALLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS AND I'M SO PUMPED FOR HER!

I'm really sad bc I was leaning against a wall in the airport today and suddenly I heard a flurry of activity (masternims sprinting) and looked up to see GOT7 was approaching...and Yug was kind of on his own and if I'd just crossed over to the other side I could have been in his eyeline and waved goodbye and wished him well but I was too chicken. 🤣 And my own flight was about to board so I couldn't linger and psych myself up for a second chance! Ah well! It was wonderful to spend time with Candy again and would have loved to meet you, owls! Sent from my SM-G960U using OneHallyu mobile app

Guys I loved the gdny interview so much, the hosts seemed so genuinely delighted by the boys and by our fandom, my heart SOARED. Yugyeom deadass giving the most well-known fact about himself as his secret made me cackle! But I appreciate how much he participated in the conversations! I was so proud!! Also guys I did the whole "waiting somewhere for GOT7" thing for the first time in my fan history, outside one of their interviews yesterday simply because I had nothing else to do. It was maybe 25 fans waiting and at least half seemed to be fansites. I felt so terribly awkward but so many people walking by stopped to ask what celebrity we were waiting for...I always answered a "korean pop group" and one older gentleman said "who?" so I said "GOT7" and he replied "oh I've heard of them!" Jdjdjd GO OFF KING!! I filmed their fast exit (and made the cringey move of yelling to JB that he looked amazing[emoji23] ), and as soon as they got into the van most of the fans booked it out of there to go get in line for their arrival at Billboard but since I wasn't going to that I just lingered behind talking to another fan while GOT7 sat in their van. I was distracted by a subk staffer I like when suddenly my husband tapped me and said "HEY, yugyeom is waving at you!" and my head snapped up and there was Yugyeom in the van window so I waved frantically and gave a finger heart which he returned. 😠I wish wish wish I'd been prepared and had brought like a sign with a message on it for him to read or something! Meanwhile I was wondering why they hadn't yet left when suddenly an suv pulled up and Jinson got out of the fan and darted into the suv...I guess they wanted more space [emoji23] Happy concert day!!! I hope hi-touch is a little less frantic than LA's and I look forward to meeting up with our dear Candy after the show! Sent from my SM-G960U using OneHallyu mobile app

Also I wanted nothing more than to run into JYP, aka the LOVE of my LIFE, somewhere at the venue but alas it was not meant to be. After the show I spotted the whole Tuan posse lingering outside the venue's club room entrance (except Papa T, he immediately booked it inside with Mama ) and I stood there for an extra ten minutes enduring the weirdness of fans approaching Mark's siblings and taking photos of them, just waiting to see if JYP was somehow going to materialize until I gave up. Good thing, too, bc someone later posted on twitter a vid of him exiting the venue and getting into his car and driving away relatively soon after the show ended. Dream ENDED!

LA was surreal. Hi-touch was kinda anticlimatic...it was THE strictest one I've ever experienced, they forced us to use left hands only and I had a staffer literally with their hand on my back as I moved through the line, because apparently saying one thing to each member is moving waaaaay too slowly. The CONCERT though, was just awe-inspiring. The first time I saw GOT7 perform it was in front of 1,000 fans....to watch them perform in front of 17,000 was nuts. I really didn't expect the venue to be that big or that full. It was an entirely different experience seeing them perform on a stage of that size! There were a few technical issues with sound but the boys were flawless and I was once again obsessed with the on-screen graphics! My seat wasn't the best for pics or footage (further back and/or in front of the extended stage is THE prime location but tickets were $1000 each for that area ) but here's some of my stuff! I WAS SO PROUD OF OUR GREEN OCEAN!!!! I'm sad I didn't see Candy, it's been so long. The weather in LA was absolutely brutal so I wasn't really hunting anyone down for socialization unless they found me in line. It should be 20+ degrees cooler in NYC though so I'm looking forward to it! (edit: also, I continue to be amazed by how many fans Yugyeom has earned over just the last year. I used to see maybe one Yugyeom sign in the audience for every 20 or so Mark or Jackson signs...but last night there literally dozens of Yug signs held up in just my section alone. Our maknae is getting the appreciation he's always deserved and I'm here for it!)

Yugyeom's older brother, who has always kinda scared me, came to LA for the concert! Click here to view the Tweet I'm SHOCKED! Hopefully Yugyeom's at 100% tomorrow because I feel like he'll put even more pressure on himself to perform flawlessly

OMG. My friends who were there said Yug performed the rest of the show without issue but seemed to be really disappointed in himself over the fall, hence the crying during his ending ment. I CAN'T HANDLE THAT VIDEO, the first watch was like a dagger through my heart and I could never watch it again. It looked AWFUL. I'm sure he's sore today, but I hope he cuts himself some slack. Also THIS is why I miss hi-touch being held after the show...so we can offer reassurances over things like this! Ugh!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!!!! party hard!! yes I'll be at LA and NYC! Can't wait to hear your report! Awwww happy birthday to your son, and fear not, there are fellow 80s-born oldies here like me and Candy

New Era's sales are amazing, wow, RACK UP THAT $$$ BOYS have an amazing time!!!!
-
I can't get into New Era at all which is a total first, but I am really liking the other tracks! Especially 2(two)...surprise!
-
YES, YES! THIS IS MY FAVORITE JAPANESE TRACK EVER. Bless you and your good taste.
-
I'm down for a summer comeback! They need to shake up their fall schedule a bit! And I can't believe the NA tour kicks off in two weeks, NO ONE IS READY!
-
The same way we've only ever gotten P1s...resale market. It's really never about luck, it's about desperation.
-
of course I'm going! somehow me not going to all the stops became me skipping the entire tour, huh, Haddy thought the same thing my plan was to go to NYC and Houston. we snagged p1s for NYC but nothing for Houston so far, so may skip that one. dark days! this was the roughest ticketing experience yet....venues 4x larger than usual but the ticketmaster website and app were just acting a FOOL!
-
this april fool's joke Noooooope, was never gonna go to LA because I'm so tired of it and it's a 6 hour flight away. NYC and Houston are my only definite stops, Toronto I'm undecided on. Part of me wants to drop it, but I love Canada and there are some good friends I'd only see at that stop, we'll see. I'm super proud of GOT7 for being able to have an arena tour, but it's going to mean a very different experience than what I want and I'm a lot less excited about it than I have been for past tours. Thanks so much!
-
I'M SO HAPPY THERE'S HI-TOUCH!!! I really wasn't expecting it, and the number of stops I was attending was gonna drop to 1 because I'd be so sad not being able to interact with Yugyeom at a show. SubK fought well for us all.
-
That pop of yellow is so nice! I'm really digging these comeback outfits. I love that they're casual but a little more uniform than 7for7's were. And you know I detested Arrival's blouses&chokers combo ALSO THIS CAMERA WORK, I LOVE IT
-
well, I guess we can't ask for everything to be fixed at once...they added twitter staff this comeback, maybe next comeback they'll change their album manufacturing/distribution 200k in 5 days though, even with these issues....we are SAILING!
-
Happy 7000 Johnny! Your signature is beautiful, Jackson's scenes are the best in the MV Also, guys I think we can all safely assume by now that Yugyeom is running the GOT7 Official twitter now...those tweets all scream him, I'm dying with each new tweet And OMG, seeing the MV views jump 4 million in half a day...I remember my very first 'comeback' MV, Confession Song, barely squeaking by 4 million in a whole entire WEEK....I'm so tremendously awed by their progress. This comeback must be particularly thrilling for those who have been around from the beginning, like Candy!

my actual mood all day today: Holy crap, I was not expecting the ENTIRE WORLD WOULD HAVE CHANGED during my day at work. GOT7 reaching 6 on Melon? Hitting 5m MV views in less than a day? An entire comeback all in the top 30? WHAT MADNESS! The boys' social media responses to their melon peaks melted my HEART and proved all the frustration of dealing with the world's shittiest music streaming service every freaking comeback does in fact have a payoff; despite how little relevance their Korean success has to my own love of GOT7, it has always remained hugely important to the members. I'm so proud of the fans' heightened efforts every comeback. And of course the boys themselves for continuing to grow as artists/entertainers and snag more gp attention! Anyway, I LOVE LOOK. It's exactly what the teaser left me hoping it would be. I can't get enough of the chorus and the stunning visuals especially in the latter half of the MV. And Disco Cowboy Jinyoung's jumpsuit. And the Jingyeom dance break. And Jackson's background. GLORIOUS. My mindless end-of-a-long-day album ranking right now: 1) LOOK -it's kind of rare for the a-side to be my fave track but this is a CERTIFIED PLATINUM BOP! 2) Us - I love that you could go into this track completely blind and still guess it's a Yugyeom song. My boy is the SHIT. 3) The Reason - Jackson's vocals! That crescendo! MarkBam's whisper-rapping! 4) Thank You - That opening beat is so GOOD. I love BamBam's sweet soft singing! And yes, the lyrics...we're all crying together. 5) Hesitate - At first I just thought it was cute but not that memorable, however it's growing on me more and more with each listen. Thank You is shaking, tbh! 6) One and Only You - I might just be tired of it I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE LOOK PERFORMED IN CONCERT. And hopefully a few others of these. I anticipate Thank You will be the new Confession Song and leave us all a mess during encore.

I am! I love JYP, he's my ~handosme oppar~. In my deepest dreams JYP, Arinoona, and myself are in a polygyamous marriage raising our precious child Yugyeom together. JB'S GIVING GREAT FACE HERE. I'm surprised by how much I'm digging the early 90s aesthetics this cb! BLESSED PICTURE BURY ME WITH THIS
