Ladyteen is just the unofficial name that international fans gave to the girls before they were announced as the official trainees known as “Pledis Girlzâ€, i.e. they were named due to the fact that they were the female trainees opposite Seventeen. So, at the time, Seventeen = Pledis male trainees and Ladyteen = Pledis female trainees. We won't probably get their official group name until they prepare to debut though... Hope this helped!

Alright, I’m late for the update, but I’m back for round 2 of Pledis Girlz concerts. This is my reactions to all the new footage and pictures, so you know that this is about to be a long post... Damn, not only is Shannon A+ invocals, but the girl can dance too!! I couldn’t take my eyes off of her in the Trini Dem Girls dance performance fancam. Like she’s slowly creeping up on my top 3, the other girls better watch out… I love seeing Yebin’s confidence and flirty smirks, but I really wish that we had gotten a solo fancam of Shannon here too!! I’m not sure if I’ve fully exposed my love of Bang! on this form, but *if don’t know, now you do. So, of course I’d be excited for Pledis Girlz to debut with a similar style, especially if their own rendition of Bang! is anything to go off of. With the over saturation of K-pop groups debuting nowadays I feel like there’s ton of groups snatching up concepts and styles left and right, so it’s kind of a wait and see what the next year will be like to see what K-pop might be missing. I do think that they’ll have their own specific sound though, which is exciting. I just don’t know if I’m more drawn to the fierce confidence of Bang! or the playful flirting of Rollercoaster… New question, would you rather the girls debut with a song that is vocally challenging or which has difficult choreography?

I'm really interested in this as well, and I think you might be right. So far, they haven't really ventured into the cutesy route and instead have covered the spectrum of bright and playful to alluring, girl-crush. The more concerts we get, the more of their style we'll see!!! I can't wait for Saturday

Of course this is Minkyeong focused, but it also captures the other girls really well!! (And the entire ending scene is dominated by a teary-eyed Shannon and Yewon voice over!!! Listen to the audience response to the girls, YAY!!! That loud "Yewon-ah" @ 2:34 is totally me, and Siyeon's cute smile right after Also, it seems our Kyungwon-ssi has really good comedic sense​) I really think that one of the strongest factors working in favor of the girls is their infectious charm. If they can really market that, I think they'll have LOADS of fansites on their side!!!

Yeah, I have a feeling that Nayoung and Pinky are going to miss the first quarter of the concerts or so (but of course this depends on how many concerts they will be having), just due to the sheer volume of gigs they have as I.O.I Once I.O.I starts splitting into their subunit groups, then I think we'll get OT10 interactions at concerts, but I'm still hoping beforehand that they'll play up their friendship publicly for the image boost... Basically, whenever they have some free time, I'd imagine we'd start seeing them pop in. Of course, I may be wrong and they might be center stage this week... but it's doubtful... Also... I feel like I should give y'all a fair enough warning about the sheer onslaught of pictures that I'm going to spam this thread with once the first Yewonfansite has opened up. Because it will happen, and it will be glorious!

It really is, but I can't say I didn't expect it. Due to the girls rising to fame on a reality survival program, I feel like a lot of fans are either going strong for one girl or specific ships. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I've already voiced my concern about the disjointedness of the group so far. Anyway, last week's concert was the first time anyone had really seen Shannon, Yewon, and Kyla aside from the poster. Take into the account that didn't really even address their inclusion and the fact that fans haven't seen the other girls since their elimination, it's understandable that you could only catch the new girls at the corner of every fancam. However, I'm hoping that that will soon change. It would be a miracle if such changes started this week, but I'm holding out hope!! (Especially because the new girls seem so charming that fansites may not be able to resist being wrecked by them...) YOU SHOULD!!! That would be such a sweet gesture ♡

Hopefully we can get some high quality fancams, recordings, or information on her so that we could make a nice thread in celebration...

Glad to see that the girls are getting love from everyone, I hope it continues to grow ♡ And I've been interested in Pledis groups for forever, but only stanned half of them. Pledis girls look to be the newest addition...

Agreed. She was basically ignored during Produce 101 but, for what reason, people didn't flock to her quite like they did with Minkyeong (who was also done dirty by Mnet)... When I heard the loud screams at the concert every time she opened her mouth, my heart swelled three times its size that day...
